You MUST use loctite
You absolutely must use loctite. Do not even try to simply tighten it hard enough, you will strip something before it does not vibrate loose. I use orange loctite to be extra safe, while still letting me unscrew things without heat later. If you do not heed this warning, you WILL lose parts on the road. Go over it with a magnifying glass and make sure you are not missing anything. Check the spring attached to the brake lever, theres two tiny screws behind it you might miss. Stuff like this. If you do this, this is a great set. I love my set. That being said, I do wish that it had a higher range of adjustability, and started with stock settings being the lowest and closest. The lowest and closest setting is something like maybe an inch higher and further back. It doesn’t sound like that big of a difference, but if you have been riding with proper foot posture already with stock and are a taller guy, it can be surprising and you might find it cramped or feeling tempted to ride with improper technique to make up for it. That was my initial impression, to be honest. Im getting used to it however, and I see big benefits too, such as improving my relationship with the clip ons and handling. I have been considering coming up with a bracket adapter of some sort to let me get just a tiny bit forward and down, if I can swing it, and it not be noticeable aesthetically. Either this, or finding down the road a replacement first bracket that connects to the frame that I can use with the rest of the kit. Time will tell how I feel and what I do. It’s not terrible, it’s really fine, it’s just different and I was not expecting it. I thought for an adjustable kit, it would have a wider range of adjustments, even if you started with stock settings on the lowest end.The one thing that did not fit properly on my 04-06 YZF R1 was the brake light switch holder. I simply used the stock one and bent it to work. Also a final tip… place the loop on the brake master cylinder BETWEEN the spring and the front nut holding the shaft for the brake loop. Don’t put it behind the little clip at the very end and the spring. It knocked that little clip at the end right off, first ride. If you put it between the spring and the nut, you don’t even need the little clip in the first place, the spring will hold it there in place under tension. All in all just be slow and careful installing, loc-tite everything. And just know that you are going to be moving up and back whether you like it or not.

Easy install. They look good as exactly what I wanted. Lots of adjustment definitely would recommend.

Not designed right and no instructions are available.
Bought it for an MT10, i attempted to install it and just about everything on the left side fit alright. On the brake side though, it had 2 giant issues. The brake switch will absolutely not fit the way they set it up once you put on the master cylinder. And the master cylinder itself can not be mounted without unbolting the reservoir. The hoses will be severely kinked otherwise, while you can solve this be cutting the hose to shape, im very disappointed that they designed it this way and didn’t provide a solution.INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS ARE NON-EXISTENT! I asked for them and was told they have none, they will send you example pictures, in my case they initially sent me an unrelated model too. They have yet to show me a picture of how the brake switch is meant to fit.Customer service was responsive up until i informed them about the issue with the brake switch. It’s been 1 month and they haven’t gotten back to me. Buy at your own risk.

Decent rearsets
I wanted gold rearsets for my R1 and it was either these or $600 for some Satos. These look to be the same as the Hot Bodies MGPs sold by Revzilla, Cycle Gear, STG, etc. that are more than twice the price. The only difference is the branding on the heal guard. So as much as I didn’t want to buy Chinese rearsets I rolled the dice that these may be acceptable since the big bike retailers essentially sell these rebranded. They’re not Woodcrafts or Vortex or any of the other expensive rearsets but the quality I think is decent and the gold adds the bling look I wanted. So on to the bad:-There’s no installation instructions but the sets come somewhat preassembled and I used a diagram from Hot Bodies for reference. You can pretty much figure everything else out.-The brake return clock spring sucks but I was able to jerry rig the OEM return spring on also, so the rear brake works much better.-I had to shorten and really mess around with the brake switch spring to make it work.-The bracket the springs attach to is very flimsy but I zip tied it down to add some sturdiness, otherwise it won’t work it will bend. I may replace this with a sturdier bracket in the future. You definitely get what you pay for but for less than $150 and a little bit of work and creativity, I’m happy with the end result. I had a hard time shifting with the OEMs but the adjustability of these eliminated that now. Street use these have been fine. Time will tell next season how these hold up at the track.

Great for the price
The bad:Everything about the brake switch is garbage. The main mounting bolts are steel. Replace them if you actually ride. They will rust. The bolts that hold the master cylinder bracket that include threaded holes to mount the heel guards are junk and will inhibit lever movement if you’re tall. Throw them out and drill the heel guard holes larger and use a regular bolt all the way thru. Also, before you drill, you can swap the heel guards if you don’t want to show off ‘Arashi.’The good:Quality anodizingVery well packaged, I felt like I was opening something from Apple.Great adjustability, I gained 2 inches of leg room.Machining is excellent, these people have real quality control.Foot pegs have a breakaway groove so if you lay it down the end will snap off instead of destroying the whole thing, allowing you to hopefully ride home still. That feature is actually the only reason I kept them and did all the other modifications. They may be inexpensive but they know what they’re doing.Lastly, for all the reviews complaining about directions, if you can’t install these with a picture you shouldn’t be wrenching on your motorcycle. Rearsets are kinda important to staying alive on a motorcycle.

Look great, Feel great, nice features!
Perfect fit on a 2018 MT09.The stock pegs had “feelers” on them – which were constantly dragging at track days. Removed the “feelers”, but then the pegs were still dragging, and boots getting worn down. These rear-sets move the pegs up a bit, and that should give me the clearance I need.Nice bonus: you can now fit the linkage on the right side of the shifter shaft – so you can run GP-Shift, as seen in the picture. The rear-sets do come with the linkage for Quick-Shift, which I hope to also install someday – but the Quick Shifter is out of stock everywhere!Note: with the pegs being higher, the passenger pegs are in the way when you “ride on your toes”. So, I removed the passenger pegs, and the bike feels great!I was a little concerned I would not feel as comfortable as stock pegs – with these new higher pegs. But, I actually feel MORE comfortable – maybe because now you ride in a more proper position for trackdays.

08 r1 linkage
2008 Yamaha r1 shifter linkage connector that comes with the kit has a female spline in the adapter. The only way that will connect to shifter rod is to obviously put the spline on the shifter rod. However that’s not what is shown in the picture sent with the kit . I asked about this and got 2 helpless photos sent to me and the files wouldn’t open. The linkage puts the shifter in a bind and adds extra stress to the already vulnerable shifter rod. I still don’t know if this is correct since you can’t get any customer service from the arashi store. Very frustrating. Please contact me regarding the issue.
Not a great design, The rear break was sticking and eventually, after a few rides broke! Now I’m not sure what to do! –

Worth the price
I would give it 5 stars but it isn’t a plug and play like most rearsets are and it doesn’t come with locktight, I had to make lots of adjustments especially with the rear brake system but nothing hard just make sure you have patience with it and take your time installing it and it’ll be good to go love the outcome on my 2017 r6 !

Look nice, good price, terrible coating.
Bought this kit for my FZ8. They do look very nice for the price but the paint comes off from from lightest touch. I scratched it up just from installing and don’t see how it can be avoided. Was disappointed since the vendor “claimed” the paint job to be sturdy.

Alott cheaper then other brands but I have been using them for a year and I am extremely unhappy I have had problems with the shifting and the brakes side they bend extremely easy and the bolts sent with it break really easy I had to replace the bolts with my own im not happy with theese and I will buy a different brand for other bikes in the future

The master cylinder is off from bolt pattern by an inch. Then they charge you 7$ to send it back when it doesn’t fit.

Bolt pattern doesn’t line up
The looks are there quality is also there but for my 2005 Yamaha r6 the bolt patterns don’t exactly line up right to the mounting points. So I had to come up with something to hold them in place more than they already do with the 1 bolt I would say that you can probably get away with just having the top mounting point bolt in with some lock tite.

Fitted r3 perfectly
Replaced cheaper rearset that wasn’t shifting properly and had loose drive rod. Immediately loved the arashi rearset feel and position. No more shifting problems and looks lovely. Please do remember to use loctite once you have the position correct to ensure it doesn’t vibrate the screws loose and ruin your day.

Unexpected quality for the price
Quality is better than expected (I have Vortex on my R1), and these are likely nicer finished, with more adjustability, although piece count is higher. Arashi also makes replacement wheels, and brake rotors, if if similar quality, I’d purchase. I did replace some of the fasteners (with Ti, that I already had), and also replaced the FZ07 heavy steel linkage and upper heim-joint with a R1 upper aluminum heim, and first generation FZ1 aluminum shifter rod (exactly the correct length). Excellent fit and finish, quality packaging. All parts were included, no damage to any part.

MT-09SP
MT-09SP(2019)に取り付けました。

Nice set
Ordered in March, arrived in April. Live in NY so riding season starts May. Went to put these in my bike and noticed it’s missing the actual brake foot rest. So I have a brake bar with nothing to press on smh. Tried to contact seller and get the piece but Amazon won’t allow since I ordered so long ago. Seems like they might have been ok if all parts were included but they weren’t.UPDATE: seller got in contact with me to correct the missing piece. Great customer service, would recommend for sure! Piece fit perfectly and set looks good, installed a pressure switch to make the brake light connection easier for $10.

Locktite everything!
Honestly these are beautiful, great machining and color, perfect fit. I’m not going to complain about the lack of instructions- it did take a little figuring out but I kinda enjoy that. The shift and brake positions feel nice, and the lowest footrest config is up just a bit higher than stock. I would recommend these

Be Advised
Ok, so overall, the set is great. The only gripe is that the bracket that holds the rear brake spring is gonna take some gerryrigging. You’re gonna have to drill the existing holes all the way through and go get 2 nuts and screws from a hardware store because that’s the only way the bracket will stay in place. Otherwise, if you leave it as it is, that bracket will move every time you use the brake pedal and eventually, the pedal won’t activate the brake light. Other than that, it was a breeze to install and with aforementioned change, everything worked flawlessly and that’s why it gets 5⭐️

Good rearsets for the money, It seems like the shifter needs more force to go into gear now. It might just need to be adjusted.
