I used this to build shelves for my cats to climb on

I have been building a wall fun house for my cats that uses floating shelves for them to jump between. These shelves are great for that purpose. The wood isn’t smooth but that is great for the cats. I bought separate sticky carpet that I can put over top of these shelves for better grip. They support the weight of my cats. Both of which are just under 10lbs. Installation is easy.

Difficult to install

I bought this during the black Friday sale for $20 which is a much more reasonable price for what you get. Not sure what type of tool or screw driver is needed for the 2 screws angled on the inside of the bracket, but the metal V shape gets in the way of screwing those two in properly/easily. It took a lot of adjusting once on the wall to assure they were stable which was very time consuming. The brackets were the worst thing about this shelf set. The wood finish and grain looks good, though.I only use it to display some Funko pops which aren’t too heavy. I didn’t have a ladder so I couldn’t space the shelves out as much as I would’ve liked to stack more in box Funko’s on them. These shelves are great to display out of box Funko’s though and other collectibles.Overall, wouldn’t recommend due to the amount of time and difficulty it took to install. The brackets are a pain to work with.

These shelves are really easy to install unless you just don’t have any kind of skill at all with putting it where you want it and making sure it’s level and marking you anchor points. Shelves themselves look good and are really sturdy for small display items. Not much work at all to put together.

Mostly Fine

The shelves are light weight and darling… BUT of the 2 packages we ordered, most of the shelves were warped, making it difficult to install them properly. In addition, there was a bit of spring boarding happening in the corners when small items were placed there. We had to use 3 supports / shelf to make them feel sturdy enough. Now we have to go to the hardware store and find 6 supports to install the last 2 shelves. You get what you pay for. I wish we had checked over the shelves more carefully before screwing everything into the walls first.

Very convenient for extra storage

I live in an apartment so I needed extra storage shelves in my laundry room. The texture on these are very rough to the point where you could get splinters or the paint chips off. If the walls are not at at 90* angle it is a little hard to get attached to the wall. Besides those two issues, they turned out super cute.

Great shelves but be warned.

These shelves are great for small items and can definitely hold up to their advertised weight if mounted in a stud. However, DO NOT use the longest screws at all. All the screws are low quality and are likely to break. The medium length ones are sufficient for everything. If your wall faces an exterior concrete wall: break off the tips on the dry wall anchors, they are too long.

A great $30

The wood is cheap particle board (probably better bc they are very light weight) but the brackets are plenty strong and sturdy.Advice on the install: your walls may not be exactly 90 degrees. Install one bracket after the other is holding the shelf up.Super pretty.

Decent, cheap shelves

Definitely great for the price. They aren’t hard to get up on the wall at all, but as the instructions warn don’t try to force the screws into a stud with an electric drill, use a smaller drill bit to make a pilot hole instead. The screws included are pretty cheap and would probably break with the torque of something electric.That being said, one of the three shelves included was pretty badly warped to the point where it’s unusable. Still, the two that were able to be hung look just fine.

Cheap materials

These shelves seemed to be exactly what we were looking for, to put in a small corner in our small bedroom. The shelves make for ease custom hanging since there are no pre-drilled holes. That’s about where the benefits end. The shelves are made out of some kind of pressed sawdust or something, which makes them very light and soft. One of them was warped and would not hang on the wall correctly. The wall anchors that are included kept breaking, and then pulled out of the wall, leaving us with huge holes in the wall to repair, and forcing us to screw directly into studs. One of the smaller screws was completely unusable as it was misshapen. I’m glad I was able to purchase on sale because full price for these is a rip-off considering how poor the quality is. I do not recommend these, especially if you are using them for books.

Awesome space saver.

I have purchased three sets of these so far and may get two more. They are the best thing since sliced bread as far as I am concerned. I have a tiny bedroom that also doubles as my office. I use these to organize all my office products, books, plants, and photos. They look so good, are super easy to hand, and are very affordable. I love them! I’m thinking of getting a set for the bathroom to hold tissues, cosmetics, etc.

Yeah, great shelves

These shelves were very reasonable in price. I ordered 2 for a price of somewhere around 32 dollars and got 4 shelves as expected. Real easy to hang. I don’t care for all the black metal hangers most shelves come with. These didn’t have them so they were perfect. Very very sturdy shelves, I was pleasantly surprised. One shelf’s grain was a bit darker than the other 3 but I was okay with that. Good purchase , I would recommend them

Reversible

Notable: With both surfaces finished* and no pre-drilled holes, shelves are reversible, i.e., long and short sides of each shelf can be mounted against either wall. So, unlike photo, you could have all 3 shelves with shorter side against Wall A and longer side against Wall B, or any variation thereof.* “Finished” is relative, at least for rustic wood version. The surfaces are a bit rough to the touch.

Not what I expected.

This shelves are very light and don’t feel like they were made from wood. I didn’t buy them to use as shelves, but to put them around the bottom of my monitor, one on top of the other. I needed to weigh the bottom down because if my desk is the least bumped the monitor falls over. I thought if I weighed it down it would stop this from happening. I am keeping these because they do look nice, but I still had to go back to having a brick sitting on top of these to solve my problem. Maybe if they would be used as shelving their weight wouldn’t be a problem.

Good easy project

These shelves fit great in my wife’s at home small office. I like the brackets are not preset. I was able to line up the shelving with the studs in the wall. The hardware in the box gives you options (luckily I didn’t need to use the screw anchors). I had to sand down the outside corners to fit in my wall corners, other than that these are great!

Perfect Corner Shelving!

Need some extra storage to fill a corner of a small bathroom. Easy to install. Took my husband about 30 minutes. I like that the shelves are deeper than other shelving unit. Super cute. Hope they last.

I feel like these are a little flimsy

I felt like these were a little flimsy. One of the shelf boards was not stained on the end so it’s a completely different color that the rest of the boards are. Otherwise they do what I bought them for.The seller offered a full refund of the selling price for the minor defects. I stand by my review but also raised the star rating by one star because having a seller that is willing to take care of possible problems without being prompted to is as important as the product itself.

Wood is Balsa, and looks spray painted

We got these for the kids room to put their nick-nacks. The instructions were clear, and it had the screws and anchors for stud/drywall/concrete. Very easy to assemble.

Just “Okay”

The shelves are okay, not great, not bad. The wood is very soft, don’t press the screw too hard. It was a little time consuming to get in place but not hard. They will work, but I don’t love them enough to buy more.

Gets the job done, not sure for how long

These were hard to assemble due to the screw needing to go behind a metal bar, meaning all of my shelves are wobbly and one is starting the cave in the corner some. Overall not too bad for the price (got it on sale, wouldn’t recommend paying full price. Also didn’t realize the wood was unfinished so it’s splintery (be careful, I got several splinters when assembling and putting up).

The hardware they include is frustrating and some walk anchors even broke because for some reason these shelves are a pain in the ass to hang up. Only hung two out of three after the overall struggle.

Screws were supposed to be included and weren’t. Once we determined what size screws to use they were fairly easy to install. And…………they look nice and are working for what I wanted to display. Just ordered additional units, hope they include the screws in this purchase.
