Easy to assemble, especially if you have assembled this type of shelving before. Sturdy, and convenient size. For those with limited kitchen storage this is really a nice budget option.

Great buy for multiple uses!
I have two of these. One for my kitchen, which lacks in storage space… on that I use the top part for decor, because it’s not the most stable shelf, but I have a basket with coffee pods hanging from the S hooks, and then I have my coffee maker and a fruit bowl on the wooden shelf. Below, I have wire baskets for storage of pantry items, and I use the bottom shelf to store bottled water and Powerades! The second one that I have, I use in my plant room. I have square tubs from Target on the bottom shelf with supplies, I have a 20 gallon long fish tank with shrimp in it on the middle shelf, and I have a 10 gallon betta/shrimp tank on the wooden part… and I still have room to the left of that tank to have a small area for repotting. I should have probably put a smaller tank on it to have more room, but it’s already set up and too heavy to move, and too time consuming to drain to move. They are high quality and look nice.

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for added storage and little top shelf is a bonus. Wish it came with more of the wood for each big shelf tho. Or made it an option to get more

Easy to build
Super easy and simple to build, only took about 20 minutes in total. Looks great and quality is nice. My wooden board did come a bit chipped but it was on the bottom side so I don’t mind. Took some sandpaper to it and it smoothed down no problem. Other than that, this baker’s rack works well and looks great for what it is.

Super sturdy shelf
I love this little bakers rack. It’s super heavy duty, absolutely zero wiggling around like some other tube style shelves I’ve had in the past. The legs are a thicker diameter but also just thicker metal so I think that’s why it’s so nice. Holds everything I need it to and gives me some additional counter space. Very happy with my purchase. The only negative I can think of is that the wood top could be a bit smoother or have a decent coat of poly on it. It feels like it’s unfinished and water will absorb in if you don’t wipe it up quickly. Otherwise it’s perfect.

Awesome bakers rack!
I live alone in a studio with a half wall in the kitchen. There’s no pantry, very little counter space and the cabinets don’t hold much. I was trying to the best with the cabinets and also putting things on top of the refrigerator which I really didn’t like doing because it just looked messy. I thought this was the perfect solution to all my kitchen problems and it most certainly is. I actually think it looks really cute in my kitchen and it’s really opened up the functionality for a small space! My kitchen kind of feels like a little cafe kitchen or little restaurant kitchen now and I’m excited to cook again. This rack completely freed all my counters which not only made the kitchen appear bigger but now I have so much more prep area for cooking and doing dishes since I don’t have a dishwasher. It looks clean and uncluttered but everything I need and want in the kitchen is at my fingertips.About the assembly and obvious damage…I’ve put these racks together before which made me a little more confident to go ahead and put it together and see how it turned out. The rack that is damaged thankfully still lays flat so the bend is not in the wrong direction and really didn’t have any bad effects for it’s purpose. Things are just going to go on top of it and cover it anyway. I can’t even see it now that’s loaded up with things so I don’t care. The black clips are actually very easy to work with, they just sometimes appear to be too small but they really aren’t. Just put them about a 1/4″ above the line you want it to go on, squeeze them together as you slide them down and they’ll lock onto that line and you will hear a fairly loud clicking sound. Once you have all in place and you slide the rack over the top of them you’ll want to have a wood mallet or something to hit the corners of the rack with until it’s sitting straight and securely over the black clasps. I didn’t have a wood mallet so I just used a regular hammer with a folded up towel so I didn’t damage it. My posts were wonky looking too but I knew the racks would straighten it all up. So despite the damage mine came out great. Also no issues with the wood cutting board, it looks nice and durable.Overall you can’t beat this rack for the price and the function! Take your time putting it together and don’t panic if you have some minor damage, it might turn out just fine after all. I’m trying to think of where I can put a second one of these in my apartment lol. I highly recommend it! Also I did order it when it said it was unavailable and I received it three days later so it was delivered really fast.

Surprisingly stable
Stable, holds quite a bit.Assembly–UGH. Spent awhile trying to get the couplers together. HINT- they don’t. they’re similar to compression fittings and the shelf will snug them. HINT- There are lees visible lines on uprights where couplers go. HINT- Plan how low the 2nd shelf should be BEFORE assembly. sigh.

Pain to assemble, but good in the end.
It takes a lot of muscle strength and patience to set this up correctly. The plastic holders that go together for the shelves to rest on don’t fasten and clip all the way. Sometimes you’d have to start all over to get them level or even for the shelving. I had to extend the levelers at the bottom awkwardly to make the shelving appear level because at that point I was exhausted and impatient. Once it is finally assembled it’s a great shelf and sturdy, but putting it together is worthy of swearing like a sailor.

This thing is so easy to put together. You need no tools at all. It snaps together and is fairly sturdy. I stack my pots and pans on the racks. I love the wood top for extra space. Would I put 200 lbs of whatever on it? Of course not but who would? I would reccomend.

Bought this so I could have more open counter space and not clutter it with my coffee maker and microwave. It’s light weight, and fits in my little book that I had. Didn’t realize it until I was done that I had made a little Coffee bar and for that purpose it works very well.

This is a great piece
I love my new bakers rack which i ordered for extra storage in my small galley kitchen. The rack is very sturdy and once all the parts were figured out with the direction book having no words, just pics, it took two of us about 40 minutes to piece it all together. The wood top is fantastic and sets this unit above others with just the racks. That being said, I’d have liked a thin, plastic top piece for the smaller top shelf as well as the ability to order additional hooks. The hooks are great, very sturdy and have a long hook piece making it hard for items to fall off. I’m using them to hand my most used fry pans. Only four come in the package. I’d love to order more. I gave the review only four stars as I would have preferred the rack to have the ability to wheel it around. With no casters, and full, it is quite heavy and bulky to move. If you are going to need to move this frequently, I don’t think this one would be for you.

Easy to construct and exceptionally sturdy
This attractive product is a super value for the price! It went together like a dream, matches most decors, and is extremely sturdy. The butcher block top is solid bookended wood – not a composite! The top is also sanded and untreated. That makes it perfect for your own stain or paint.I absolutely will order another one of these very soon and am pleased to recommend it to anyone who needs more space and counter top area.Excellent product!

Really great purchase.
Easy to assemble and looks great. Plenty of storage and while I don’t use all the hooks, they are really handy. I know several others complained that the wooden top wobbles, I didn’t have that issue so it may be an environmental thing (humid regions) or just a quality control issue on Amazons part.I’m really happy with it. Two of them put back to back would be great for a larger kitchen. But I’m a single guy in a townhouse so one is perfect for me.It may be good to get some kind of shelf liner for the wire shelves as things with feet can catch on it.

Good quality, functional, and easy to put together.
With a kitchen that’s roughly the size of a postage stamp, I desperately needed more room. After lots of browsing, I finally decided a baker’s rack might be the way to go.The box it came (unassembled) in was pretty heavy but small enough to fit in the backseat of my little car, and everything in the box was neatly labeled, so I could figure out what went where. The instruction manual was in mouse-sized type, so small that even my reading glasses were useless, so I dig out a magnifying glass and got to work. The instructions (once I could actually read them) were pretty easy to follow, and with a little non-help from my nosy dog, I managed to put this thing together within about 30 minutes. The legs sit evenly, the butcher board is nice and straight, and it feels pretty sturdy. The instructions also have a super-helpful little diagram that lists just how much weight *each shelf* can hold, so as long as I follow along, it shouldn’t come crashing down. The first thing I did was move my microwave to the cart, followed by my coffee mugs and a large heavy glass bowl. My kitchen counter space (what little I had) more than doubled in size as soon as I moved the microwave, so it was exactly the solution I needed. I originally wanted a few more hooks, but since my placement of the rack has it sitting over a light switch, I decided the four it came with were enough. I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the utilitarian look it has — a black finish would have been so much nicer — but I can’t complain too much, since it’s clearly such good quality and certainly does the job I needed it to do. About the only thing missing is liners for the wire shelves, but I should be able to find those easily enough.

Good quality for the money
I ordered the microwave cart and baker’s rack. I was hesitant to purchase these based on the reviews but went ahead. I am glad I did. I had no trouble putting them together. Both carts are very study. The packaging issue has been corrected. Both carts were shipped in sturdy boxes. I put wheels on the baker’s rack. The size of wheel is 3/8” 16 thread, 3” wheel diameter, 1” thick wheel. I would post a link to the wheels, but I bought them at another store because I had to go in person to see what fit. I bought Gorilla Grip HD Premium Shelf Liners (listed below) from Amazon. The baker’s rack liners fit perfectly. The microwave rack liners are too wide but can easily be trimmed to fit. The liners work fine to store my heavy mixer, Ninja grill, etc. I am very happy with my purchase.Amazon.com – Gorilla Grip Heavy Duty Premium 36 x 14 Inch Wire Shelf Liners, Set of 4, Value Pack, Waterproof, Plastic Liner for Wired Metal Rack Shelving and Cabinets Shelves, Kitchen, Garage, Clear Frosted –Amazon.com – Gorilla Grip Heavy Duty Premium 24 x 14 Inch Wire Shelf Liners, Set of 3, Value Pack, Waterproof, Plastic Liner for Wired Metal Rack Shelving and Cabinets Shelves, Kitchen, Garage, Clear Frosted –

Came from the factory askew
So for the money I still might recommend it if you really don’t care that much about appearances, but it’s quite obvious when it’s pushed up against the wall that something isn’t quite straight.I would say that it’s user error, but I’ve assembled tons of these shelves over the years, and I’ve checked this over and over to make sure that I didn’t make any kind of common mistake. I think the quality is just kind of low.My purposes that it won’t make a difference because I’m just using it in a shop, and it’s still lays flat on the floor with the adjustable foot. It’s just twisted when you look straight down at it.

Mid quality
Id recommend looking else where first. The price is too high for the quality provided. Also the instructions had a misprint. One of the pieces was labeled G in the instructions but the engraving said E. And the orientation of some of the pieces in the instructions was also wrong. One positive I can give this is that it was really easy to assemble without the instructions. The pieces that hold up the shelves are kind of flimsy, before you put the shelves on. When you place the shelf down on top of them, if you dont guide the pieces in yourself, youll just knock them off of the pole. If this was like $50 i would say its pretty decent but for the price point of $70+ I wouldnt recommend. To be fair I bought it when it was on sale (~$65) but even for that price id take a look somewhere else first.

PROS OUTWEIGH THE CONS!
It’s easy to assemble if you’re not a perfectionist. First things first, lay out all the pieces on the floor before trying to assemble it. The “c” poles with the black caps will need to be in the front. If the counter is wobbly, turn it over. You may see a slight gap between the counter and metal rack but it’s nothing to quiver about. As you can see from the photo it’s not noticeable. The rack did come out wobbly once I finished placing the 3rd rack on. So, the black covers at the bottom of the rack can be loosened to add height. That’s what I did to one leg to stop the wobbling. The black plastic pieces will not be the problem, it’s getting all the racks leveled. I wish there were guidelines on the poles to let us know where to place the black pieces. Having a mallet or hammer can be very useful. I used my body weight to press down on the rack. MAKE SURE YOU PRESS THE RACKS DOWN UNTIL TOU HEAR A CLICK TO MAKE SURE ITS STURDY. It’s not going to be a perfect assembly, but it gets the job done. The cons are not enough to toss this away. It’s definitely a keeper and I will recommend anyone to purchase this. Now, if the price ever goes pass 80ish dollars…look around because there’s better for $100.

Excellent storage, not viable for prep work
An excellent space saver and the perfect solution if you have non-adjustable cabinets in your kitchen with odd, small spacing. However, I would NOT suggest using the “cutting board” top on it as an actual cutting board. The entire unit shakes and (as a renter) I’m not about to secure it to the wall with the pipe straps it needs. It’s extremely simple to put together, the entire process took me ~20min working solo. I got a cheap($40) adjustable shelf for my appliances, great addition and freed up alot of space on my kitchen counters – Overall, a terrific buy for $95 and I can’t recommend it enough for STORAGE.

There is a trick to assembling the rack!
After I figured out hoe to properly assemble the Baker’s Rack, I am fully satisfied. It is a very good, sturdy, and functional storage addition to my small kitchen. One thing that stumped me about assembly: each of the bracket collars has a stamp on the outside showing which way goes up. Importantly, INSIDE each bracket collar is a small lip, or ridge closer to the top. This lip, or ridge, corresponds to the ‘rings’ on the support poles. Simply take one half of a bracket collar, place it on the pole just above one of the ‘rings’, and slide it down; it will snap/click into place. Then simply attached the other half of the bracket, and voila! After all four brackets are in place, when you slide the shelf unit down, it will catch on the bracket, and the shelf is in place. A small tap-hammer or rubber mallet is helpful to get a tight fit. A small portion of the bottom of the bracket will show, but that’s OK with me.I have about 80lbs of cast iron cookware on the bottom shelf; about 20lbs of finer cookware on the middle shelf and all holds well; it is VERY sturdy. On the top rack, I have very large jars of loose leaf teas, and I am not worried about anything falling over/collapsing.This shelf unit works well with the Gorilla Grip Heavy Duty Shelf Liners; no trimming necessary- for me that is.I hope this helps! I would recommend and buy again!

Better than I expected!
I saw this and thought it would make a great counter top space for a new apartment we are moving into that doesn’t have any counter space. I was a little skeptic though at how sturdy this could actually be.This is a very sturdy Bakers Rack. It is also very easy to assemble (took me 15 minutes). It was so easy to assemble that I was able to take it easily apart until we move, but decided to put it back together and use it until we move. It would hold a Microwave, crockpot, heavy mixer, etc if you needed it for that. The cutting board is a great counter space for us (I would use cutting mats on top of it just to preserve the wood. I like that you can actually adjust the shelves to as high or low as you want and if your floor is uneven, you can unscrew the bottom of the legs to even it out.The top rack at the very top would hold a blender, food processor or even just mugs or something of that sort or you can even leave that part off altogether if you wanted to. The bottom 2 racks are very sturdy and would hold the above mentioned items as well. For the person wondering what the round black piecs are that are left in the box, the book tells you at the bottom fo the first page of instructions that those are throw aways and used in shipping to keep the shelves from banging together. The instructions themselves were very easy for me to understand. The shelves are all adjustable to where you need them for your needs. You decide where to put them on at.For the price this item is, it is well worth it. Very happy with it and can’t wait to get into our new place. I may actually order a second one once we are there if we decide we need it, leave the very top off of it and just put them one in front of the other to make a lager counter space too…

Wood surface porous and not finished for food grade
If came damaged but was part of the warehouse stock for a savings of $4.99. The metal of one of the racks was bent and also had a little light rust/deterioration of the chrome metal finish. The wood is NOT finished nor suitable for food prep, and is made of particle pressboard refashioned into a solid top piece, which also had defects of a few instabilities/splits where the wood is microfractured. So, if you are looking for a reliable surface for doing some real food work and need an appropriate wooden food-grade service, this, in my opinion, is NOT it, hugely based upon the fact that solid top surface pieces are used as standard in food production kitchens/industrial kitchens because of needing the ability to clean the wood surface without the surface being porous and absorbing food debris and harboring growing bacteria. The wood is barely finished, if you can call it that (it’s pressboard, what do you expect?) and I would have been happy to know it was pressboard before purchase. If you work with a decent wood cutting board upon this wood surface, or with a well covering pastry cloth before you do ANYTHING where the food could contact the surface (because it WILL easily stain and absorb food particulates and debris as it is very porous) then you’re going to be okay if that level of cleanliness isn’t important to you. Otherwise, a way KIND OF around this would be to do a heavy linseed/coconut oil sealing of this pressboard wood material (possibly a wax sealing first?) in order to ensure that wet materials and food stuffs would be repelled by the wood and the wood would be sealed and easily cleaned. After growing up in restaurants throughout my formative years and most of my adult life of working in food service, this is important. Fortunately I am using this piece as a spare craft table, which is pretty freaking awesome as a surface for the many random projects I have to occupy myself with. I intended to purchase this to hold canned foods and dishes and repurposed a bookshelf and metal rack instead. Each shelf is only able to hold about $100 lbs, which makes this like a reduced scale pseudo-industrial rack as it doesn’t have the strength or thickness of metal usually found in the industrial versions of these types of metal rack pieces. If you need to store a lot of weight on this piece, I’d recommend a more sturdy version that may be more expensive of a model but that has a higher ranking weight bearing capacity certification. It’s sturdy, but thinly sturdy as compared to industrial grade racks, which are available on Amazon but that are NOT Amazon Basics brand.

It’s functional but not fab
I bought this a couple years ago now, and it works for providing extra storage and space in the kitchen, however, I bought 2 of these thinking I could run them along the wall. 2 of these do NOT fit closely next to each other, there is a large gap, so you cannot have a seamless extra counterspace. That’s one fault I have. The other is I’m still not sure how to place things on it without it looking trashy. I’ve tried baskets and nothing seems to look anything less than cluttered. Obviously, I knew this going in that it was “open shelving” and wasn’t sure but its definitely kind of an eye sore. What’s worse, in the picture they show you putting a microwave on the second shelf…. that’s at KNEE level. What the heck? Who wants to have to bend down all the time to use the microwave, and awkwardly lift things out and upwards? Not me, that’s for sure. So having to use the wood top for the microwave also eliminates some of the aesthetic.Overall though, everything is sturdy and the furniture has lasted for multiple years and probably many more.

Capable Kitchen Stand
My main reason for purpose was to put a countertop 5 gallon water dispenser on. It is a very sturdy stand that can double as a kitchen bar top for cooking and eating.

Looks great!
This was so easy to assemble and gives my kitchen so much more storage space. The only thing is the butcher block is untreated, so it will need to be oiled periodically to maintain. Since I’m mostly using the top shelf as a coffee bar, I got some shelf liners (pictured) to make the top spill-proof. Love this!

Can be wobbly but excellent for the price
Arrived on time and undamaged. Instructions are just pictures but if you look at them before you start assembling you should have no problem. A little hard to get the fixtures right definitely a two person job. I recommend a rubber mallet. Exactly what I needed for my tiny kitchen with no counter space or storage.

Where is the quality control?!? This should come w/ band-aids & a reimbursement for your time.
I purchased this bakers rack because while my kitchen is quite large, but I do not have much open countertop space. I was contemplating ordering other steel and wood-type racks, in lieu of this more industrial wire-type ones, but the price was too good to pass up. I have a similar 5-shelf rack that is of similar construction, and for my needs right now, I decided it would work. The installation is pretty straightforward, and the instructions are easy to follow. All the pieces were there, and nothing was broken or damaged. Fortunately, despite a mediocre sanding and finish job on the wooden shelf, it was at least planed properly and I don’t have a wobbly surface to deal with. I won’t plan on using it as a cutting board, and it at least provides a more stable base for my toaster oven and toaster. The problem, however, is that I cut myself several times, as did my daughter that was helping me assemble the rack! The edges of the wire-stainless steel were just chopped off and then tack welded in place, leave weld slag, and extremely sharp and dangerous edges throughout the entire shelving system. If I didn’t need it so bad, I would have just boxed it back up and sent it back to Amazon. I am very disappointed that I had to spend over an hour with a Dremel in hand, grinding down welds and hazardous edges. Now, instead of a shiny stainless steel look, the rack is marred by my sanding efforts. I could not allow this to remain in my house, though, for my own safety, but especially for that of my young children. For this reason, I would mark this down to zero (0) stars, but considering that the rack assembled easily, it doesn’t wobble, there were no broken pieces, and it meets the minimum requirements I had for storage needs, I gave it two (2) stars overall. I may change this, though, so I will have to watch how it performs in the long run.The baker rack market appears to be very competitive, and cheapest can be most expensive some times. This rack was marked down around $20+ when I first saw it, so it was a good financial deal at the point of sale, but my daughter and I could have been cut worse, or even my youngest child cut have been cut, and the medical costs could end up being much higher than what I paid for the rack, and for the relative convenience it provides with respect to storage and kitchen organization. Presently, I would not recommend this bakers rack until the manufacturer changes their procedures and puts more emphasis and action on safety and quality control of their product. In the rush to fabricate and sell products, companies need to take the time to inspect their products. There are other offerings available that cost more than this product, and should be considered before making the purchase. My $0.02.

Exciting addition to the kitchen!
It arrived in less than a week and I don’t have Amazon Prime so I was pleasantly surprised. This took me less than 30 minutes to take out of the box, assemble and clean up. Very easy!It holds all of my appliances that were cluttering my kitchen before and it feels sturdy enough. It does feel cheap, but who can complain for the price, and a few of the bars were slightly crooked which I honestly expected but this shelf still does the job. I haven’t even had this for 24 hours but overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I feel like I can breathe in my kitchen a little easier.

Very Satisfied!
What I liked about the bakers rack is the sturdiness, the storage capacity, and how quickly and easily I put it together. I did it by myself within half an hour and that’s more than enough time. The only thing that I “disliked” was that there were only four hooks that came with the Bakers rack and I would have appreciated anywhere from 10 to 12 hooks for my needs. The hooks are also very sturdy and very strong; they’re holding pots, pans, glass lids, mugs, etc.Fyi, I purposely turned the very top rack upside down so the edge would be facing up instead of down because I knew I would be using that as a spice rack and I didn’t want the spice containers to fall or slide off easily. And it works perfectly that way!

Kinda shakey
Easy to assemble and is pretty sturdy. I have my microwave and coffee maker on it. It has a bottom shelf that I store all of the microwave stuff on it. I put coffee mugs on the top shelf. There are hooks to hang more mugs. I like it and would recommend it.

Nice Shelf
Assembly of this item took about 15 minutes. Components are well made and instructions are adequate. I put a small microwave on the 2nd shelf on the left side and it sagged to the right, moved it to the middle and it evens out. I plan to cut a board and put under the microwave just to sturdy it. This shelf is a good value and looks really nice!

NICE bakers rack & well priced 🤗!
I was completely surprised that the item arrived 100% intact on 5/22/20. It was if it was boxed & then immediately placed on my doorstep. There were no dents or ANY visible damage to the box, NOT even a scratch & it was delivered by the USPS😳. Anywho, it took about 15 mins to assemble like most reviewers mentioned. My 2 daughters wanted to help w/assembly & during the initial steps it was most helpful to hold the legs/poles in an upright position to secure the bottom shelf. After that it was more of a one person job to complete the assembly process. Really nice, smooth & undamaged cutting board top. It went right into place unlike other reviewers mentioned. If you tug gently on the front side of the wiring that makes up the lip/edge of shelf that the board sits upon the board will fall right into place & stay put. Also, others have mentions problems with the plastic clips that the poles slide over…my $1 rubber mallet helped with this. As, I previously owned a turquoise stand that required the same assembly process. This helps with assembly & doesn’t damage or bend the metal structure, yet helps to guide the shelves down over the clips, as well as the back component that the kitchen utensils hang from over the plastic clips. Hope all of this info is most helpful, be well & stay safe😊!
