Great kitchen scale at a great price. Easy to use. There is a gap between the metal part and the body that is a bit tough to clean if ingredients spill, but it’s not a deal breaker. No fancy bells or whistles (like a backlight, or OXO’s pull-out display), but it does its job well. Seems to be made of quality materials, no manufacturing or cosmetic defects. The stainless steel does get a little scratched with use, but that’s to be expected. Comes with batteries – nice! No complaints. I’ve recommended and gifted this scale to others. ***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED***

GREAT SURFACE, EASY TO READ NUMBERS = GREAT SCALE
The Amazon scale replaced a scale that looks like so many others. I wanted to give this a try and I’m totally pleased with it.The stainless steel platter sits apart from the LCD screen so it doesn’t get covered up with larger bowls. The LCD number panel is slightly magnified and tilted toward you to easily see the numbers. Cycling through the scale weights is easy. The big pro is that this uses the larger AA batteries verses the smaller AAA batteries. The larger battery capacity will give this longer usage before changing batteries.I use this for food and coffee measurements. The ratio of coffee to water is 1:15. The scale zeros out and the measurements are accurate enough for a kitchen scale. I’m guessing that those who need something much more accurate will need to get into scientific caliber scales, but this is perfect for what I need. Happy weighing!

This battery operated scale/balance will meet your requirements, whether small, delicate weights, or broad dietary weights are your goal. If this isn’t enough there’s an automatic turn off to help prolong battery life. Measurements are in grams, ounces, pounds, and fluid ounces. Perfect for the kitchen to weigh food for baking or for portioning your meal.
I like the ease of use and the easy-to-read display. The stainless steel plate does not come off the base but can be cleaned up easily with a dishcloth or sponge. I can place a small dinner plate onto the stainless steel plate, and tare to zero, then portion my protein and carb right onto my dinner plate accurately. The small dinner plate does not occlude the digital display, so you don’t need to measure the food first and then plate it; just tare out each item as you add it.

This scale is the one. It’s accurate enough for a home cook. I mostly use it for meal prepping, but have used it for many other things. I would highly recommend this to anyone.This has lasted me since 2020using it 2-3 times a week and it’s still going strong.I recommend keeping the box that it came in for storing the scale when not in use.

Works Great
I use this scale to weigh ground beef. I put a bowl on the scale, tare it to zero, put the meat in the bowl then freeze 1 pound packages in Ziploc bags. I like that it comes with batteries and the display is easy to read.

Use It Everyday
My dogs and cats are fed a homemade raw diet, and a scale is important for that. This scale is super easy to use, I just set a bowl on and push a button to zero out the weight. Then I can start dishing up meals. The battery has lasted a long time, and I use this at least twice a day. It’s been dropped a few times and hasn’t been damaged. It’s small, but big enough to put large dog dishes on. Overall it’s been great.

Compact and effective
I love this scale, it is a first for me. I purchased it to be able to measure portion in grams. I purchased cookbooks from the UK whose measurement is different from the US. It also helps with the US measurements. It comes in very handy, and the price made it worthwhile.

Should have purchased one years ago
This scale is accurate and very easy to use. I’m trying to limit my portions and this scale is just the thing I need and the price was reasonable. Whether or not I actually lose any weight…. well, we’ll see. Maybe what I really need is an exercise bike.

What a scale
This scale is perfect. I sale crystals so I need to know there exact weight in grams to put in my sales listing and this scale is awesome. Plus it’s a perfect size with it being round and bigger than other ones I’ve seen. It also comes with batteries so you can use it immediately and so easier to figure out without directions but if you need the instructions they are there as well! I love this scale and it’s always spot on!

Does the job
I mainly use this product in the counting calories department, and it works perfectly for that. Once you get around of how to use the tare function it’s pretty simple. It doesn’t stay on for annoying amount of time either.

I own 16 of these now
Why do I own so many? I have a coffee company and I make pour over coffee for a living. I have used dozens of different scales over the years. They all had a problem of some sort- turned off too soon, got water logged, burned through batteries, weren’t accurate, were hard to read, buttons clogged up, feet fell off and made them tippy, in other words so many things to go wrong and hate.These scales have passed my hard core needs, are very affordable, come in eco friendly boxes and include batteries!I do one mod to them- I cover the the whole readout with clear packing tape to keep them water tight and clog proof. The buttons work fine through the tape.Whether you need one or sixteen, I highly recommend this scal.

Great option for the price
This scale is a great option for the price. It provides multiple units (g, lb:oz, ml, fl’oz) of measure. I chose this scale because of the price and the slim frame. I do wish it had a backlit display, but this isn’t a big issue.

Love this scale!
This has been the perfect scale for my home office! I have use this thing since the day I got it almost every day and not have a single problem with it is a very useful tool when you sell products out of your own home business. This thing is perfect for weighing packages that are going to be sent out via UPS or USPS. You could also use it as a kitchen scale if you want to. It has been very accurate and quite durable. If you have any issues with it, I would highly recommend grabbing one of these specially how cheap they are you can’t beat it.

Resets itself quickly – write down the number if working with multiple containers.
When working with sourdough starter you may want a couple of containers in the process of getting half replaced into your original container. If you take too long, the scale resets itself to 0 so you better remember what the number was in order to put half back in.

Not sure why I didn’t purchase a scale years ago
It’s so useful to be able to weigh out my meats and veggies when I vacuum seal them. Also great to insure hamburger patties and all at the same approximate weight.
I like the look of this newer version of the scale, however, I belive the older one was more sensitive and thus more accurate –

It has a few issues that need to be worked out.
I personally use this scale to measure out my paints and pouring mediums for my art. It doesn’t always register that I have anything on the scale or even in the cup. After a few seconds of not moving anything around on it( but still having my paint on there) it will shut itself off while I’m trying to weigh things. It’s not too terrible but it has definitely taught me how to start guestimating my measurements because it’s not always 100% accurate.
