Pregnancy MUST HAVE!
This is my 3rd bottle of bio oil and I love this stuff! When I found out I was pregnant with twins I thought was my skin was doomed! I did a bunch of research to figure out how to prevent or lessen the appearance of stretch marks while my skin was about to undergo this big change.I mixed bio oil along with palmers coco butter solid lotion everyday throughout my entire twin pregnancy and did not get any stretch marks. My mom and both my sisters got them during their pregnancy so I was worried I would too because of my genes.Pros: It smells really good and isn’t greasy.Tip for using during pregnancy:-Don’t just put it on your belly, put it everywhere! Everywhere stretches, not just your belly.-Put it on in the morning and at night.-Start using it as early as you can. Don’t wait until after your skin starts stretching. Preventative care is key.Good luck!

Bio oil’s been reliable for years. Now using in pregnancy
I have no complaints about bio oil. It can be pricey but it is worth it if you’re needing it for a specific skin discoloration issue or trying to prevent stretch marks. Even if you choose not to buy it online, I still recommend you get it from a store. I am extremely familiar with this product, it’s been a lifesaver in different points of my life. It was with bio oil that I was able to fade a very dark burn on my face from a bad waxing attempt many years ago. It literally looks like nothing was ever there. I have always used it to fade any dark spots or scars successfully. I don’t like using it on my face as much as my body just because it’s oil, but it has never caused any breakouts for me personally and I know that if I ever have another problem on my face, this works. I have now been using it every day on my belly to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. I am currently 8 months pregnant, only have a few weeks left to go, and still no stretch marks at all. I know if they show up that it will not be this product or anything that is to blame, it will simply be natural cause if my belly grows faster than my skin can keep up with. However I have seen amazing benefits for my skin elasticity. The last three weeks I have been feeling the growing tension and stretch on my belly and belly button, and felt like stretch marks were on the brink of showing, but I’ve been super consistent with applying oil a few times a day and nothing has popped up so far. I know it would’ve been a different story if I wasn’t using anything. I rely heavily on bio oil and sometimes combine it with lavender oil at night, and massage those in. I also use lotion or the Vaseline cocoa body oil gel when running low on this – just trying to extend the use of what I have and keeping my belly moisturised as much as possible throughout the day. I’m sure there are other things you can use to help with extra moisturising if you need it, like applying lotion if you need to go out and don’t want to have oil on your clothes. This is your body, you’re the one who has to live in it and at the end of pregnancy you’ll be glad you did all you could to help with the changes. Some body changes will be inevitable and that’s amazing, you cannot expect your body to be the same when motherhood is such a transformative process and you are growing a life. We should make our peace with all these things, see beauty in it and focus on good health above all, but I also believe it’s best for your mental health to look after what’s important to you and have no regrets. If preventing stretch marks is important to you, don’t neglect it.

Oh, Wow!!
I’m a mother of three, and middle aged. I have scars, proves I am alive. I have tried so many different products to minimize my scars to no real avail. I came across this in one of my beauty groups, and let me tell you it’s AWESOME! You do need to be consistent for it to work, so patience is necessary. But I promise the end result will be worth it. My skin is so sensitive that just a little scratch darkens and that drives me nuts! So what a lifesaver this has been for me. I use it all over and based on my experience using this -I would definitely recommend this. This would be a great product to use during or after pregnancy to mitigate stretch marks or what have you.Well done!

Old Lady Smells Plus Mineral Oil In It
Well, it’s a greasy oily substance… I’ll give it that. Some people swear by this stuff (so I’ve heard online), maybe manipulative advertising idk but, I tried it out due to this fun fact and I do not really dig the smell, but I am using it up just so it doesn’t go to waste since it was bought on a whim to help fade some stretch marks which is what the pregnant ladies do too. I pretty much always make sure to apply at least a thin layer of oil after a shower to lock-in the moisture of the water and so I’ll use the rest of it for that. I also heard thru the internet grape-vine that mineral oil is not that great to use long term for skin moisture so I could be wrong about that but better safe than sorry on this one so I’ll be skipping repurchasing this in the future.

BETTER THAN NOT
Look ladies let’s get real. STRETCH MARKS ARE GENETIC. There is nothing you can do that will stop you from getting any stretch marks because most likely if your family has them you are more likely going to too under certain circumstances but especially during pregnancy. You cannot blame a product for not preventing stretchers however, there are products out there like this that can definitely help with the visibility of them. I have been using this during my entire pregnancy and I can say I can definitely see that it has prevented what could have been more disastrous. The little marks I do have are very subtle and did not spread as bad as I have seen in my family. I do apply a regular lotion first then this on top but it has definitely helped with the visibility of marks.

I’ve been using bio oil for months now! While I was pregnant I used twice daily(am and pm). It helped with redness of stretch marks. After I had my baby i stopped using it because I’d forget.. and I regret it. I started again and within a week the red stretch marks have improved!!! I don’t see any very noticeable ones. Stretch marks are genetic but this can help reduce the redness that come with stretch marks. I highly recommend.

I’ve tried several things for stretch marks and this is the only thing that’s worked. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks and I’ve already noticed huge differences. Once I saw the stretch marks start to disappear, I’ve been using it on scars and marks. They are also fading. And now, for the past three days I’ve started using it under my eyes, as I have pretty dark circles. It’s working on those, too!!This is a miracle oil and you need this in your skin care collection. I’m 32 and this is the fountain of youth in a bottle.

Great product for pregnancy
I’ve used this product for a little over a week and I’ve noticed my skin feels less dry and stretched. At 35 weeks pregnant, I’ve noticed my stomach has stared to feel a bit itchy by the end of the day. This oil immediately soothes and take a lot to do so. I got the smaller bottle and I know it will last me even after pregnancy.

I been getting bad Acne ever since I stopped using this and tried another cheaper brand just spend the money it works for all over my body I use multiple times a day until it gets better then after showers only it’s honestly helped my confidence so much I recommend trying it it’s the only thing to help literally immediately

Acne
I LOVE this stuff. I’m 37 and have cyclic acne. This is the only thing that has helped it practically disappear. The deep acne will still start, but this helps it come to a head in a day or 2 installed of it being painful for a week. It also is great for lymphatic massage. The moisturizing is good, but sometimes I feel like I need an extra moisturizer on top.

Eureka! I’ve found it!!
Hello all!I rarely ever post reviews, however this product is truly legendary, it deserves an award of its own!I purchased a bottle of this a year ago, actually, to work on my stretch marks in my inner thighs. I was sixteen years old at the time, and I was growing too fast for my skin to handle, so I ended up getting stretch marks from the top of my thigh to a bit over half-way down. They were getting longer and redder and I was freaking out trying to find a way to stop their “growth” and to heal the scars. I did a lot of research and found that this oil had the best reviews and testimonials; I didn’t think it was that expensive (especially considering the posited outcome), so I bought a bottle.I began to apply it (quite liberally, I might add–I was desperate) day and night on my trouble areas. Although, I must confess that I often skipped some days or only applied it once a day. In addition, I stopped after no more than two months. I am lazy, and it honestly took me quite a while to rub in the oil–probably about 30 minutes, which I didn’t have the patience for. So I just stopped. But after comparing my before-and-after photos (I was skeptical before I had started as to whether or not the bio-oil would really work), I saw evidence that confirmed what I had already learned over those two months–this oil is black magic! In some photos, the lines were invisible! You couldn’t even tell there were blemishes beforehand, which is truly truly remarkable considering that I had started out using the oil when my marks were constantly a harsh, angry red (I couldn’t even wear gym shorts, because my stretch marks were so visible past the hem–which is another reason that prompted me to actively find a solution to “removing” them by using this oil). On the worst appearances, they were very faintly red. I am not entirely sure, but I am guessing that they became more visible when blood flow increased around my thighs such as while running and such.It has been a year now, and I would like to update the status of my inner thigh stretch marks–they are usually “invisible” (unless, of course, you look closely; but from the outer appearance, they are not visible, so I can wear shorts again!), but sometimes you can see the faintest white sheen. I must also add that I did lose ten pounds along the way, so I think that helped. But really, these marks probably came from my increase in height over the past few years. I was never really fat to begin with, and at my worst I was a size 4/6 in women’s clothing, which was last summer. And there hasn’t been much progress in their disappearance since after I stopped using the oil, so I must contribute all of the success in my story to this bio-oil. I am truly, terrifically grateful, I cannot even express how much this oil has done for me!One final update: I started using this to target the stretch marks on my butt (like the typical “zebra-print”-like white lines I know a lot of other people have) just yesterday (my first use since last summer). I used it once. And today, I found that they have already disappeared quite a bit! Once again, I must stress that I used the oil quite liberally (by the way, this is my second bottle– after last year’s usage), so that might go a long way ( I don’t necessarily smother it all over my skin, but I am certainly not stingy as I admittedly usually am with other products). In addition, as a final parting note, I want to give a brief summary on my results to conclude this review: 1) I only used it for less than two months, even though the instructions say to use it for a minimum of three. Furthermore, I was very incompetent in my application of the oil, as I skipped many days, even successively. So, my amazing results aren’t even near the best results that I could have gotten– a true testament to how absolutely remarkable this oil really is. 2) This worked very very well for me. I cannot say with absolute certainty that this will be the case for everyone else, however I can say with 1000% certainty that this is a must buy–an absolute must buy. It doesn’t hurt to buy one bottle and try it out (in my opinion), and it really does work. I might even go as far as to say that this is a life changer. It has certainly given me back my full confidence with my body image, as I am one of those people who absolutely hate scars, and I was always self-conscious about other people seeing me with those glaring streaks across my skin when I wanted to wear shorts while going out. Now, I can happily wear any shorts I want without a second thought.To the company of this oil: thank you. Thank you thank you thank you.

Smells Devine
First day using this, using for my sun spots near my hairline and my stomach and stretch marks that I already have. I’m in my first trimester so wanted to try this from beginning to end to see if it makes a difference. Will post before and after photos if I remember but initial use is great, the smell is incredibly soothing and leaves my skin soft.

Love it!
I’ve used both the original and this one, nothing but great things to say about it. I like that they came out with a fragrance free one, but the fragrance never bothered me in the original. It’s just nice to have the option to choose for a non-fragrance one while still getting the same benefits from the product! I wished it came in a bigger bottle though because this can run out quickly when using it daily. I use this mainly on my legs since that’s where I have the most scarring and stretch marks – so far, it has improved the texture and its less noticeable.

this is the first amazon review i’ve ever written. i’ve been using this oil for less than a week and i’ve noticed SIGNIFICANT improvement in the quality of my skin. i’ve had deep stretch marks for over 10 years now as a result of puberty and have tried everything to improve their appearance. nothing had worked until this! after only a few days of use, my old white stretch marks are looking less noticeable. i’ve also had dark spots on my thighs as a result of ingrowns and razor burn for years as well and those are fading with incredible speed. i will definitely be purchasing this again!

I use this all over including my face! makes my skin sooooo soft. My husband tells me how soft my skin is (he doesn’t always notice things) and when I recently went to get a massage the therapist said how soft my skin was, who knows better! Great product
I can’t stand the greasy feeling after putting lotion on my skin. Didn’t have high hopes for this product, but now I’m a fan. Once it’s been on my skin for a few minutes, it feels powdery rather than slimy (like lotions feel to me). It also smells really wonderful.

I got this for acne scars
Firstly, a little goes a long way. I like this product mainly for my face but I don’t use it every night. Overall I feel like its help my scars through the healing process quicker; though I feel if I put it on too often it’ll cause my face to break out but I have oily/combo skin that’s prone to acne anyways.

So I gave it another try now that I’m older and I don’t break out from it, maybe one pimple here and there, but I don’t think it works on my facial scars at all. So I’m a little disappointed in that aspect

Bio-Oil: A Decent Moisturizer with an Interesting Smell
I recently tried the Bio-Oil Skincare Body Oil with Vitamin E, and while I had mixed feelings about it, I found that it did keep my hands moisturized. I have dry skin, and this product helped to lock in essential moisture without clogging my pores. However, I found that it was a bit too oily for my liking, and I had to be careful not to use too much at once. One thing that I found interesting about this product was the unique smell. It’s hard to describe, but it has a slightly medicinal scent mixed with floral notes. While it may not be for everyone, I found that it wasn’t too overpowering and eventually got used to it. However, the scent may be a deal-breaker for some. While it did keep my hands moisturized and had some interesting natural oils, it was a bit too oily for my liking, and the scent may not be for everyone. However, I think it’s worth trying out for yourself to see if it works for your skin type and preferences.

Actually works!!!
This is the best product ever. I have had two babies and have lots of stretch marks and extra skin on my tummy. After using Bio Oil just once a day for a month now, my stretch marks have almost gone away completely. Not only does it smell amazing but this product actually does what it says it will! i’m always skeptical about skin care products, but this stuff really outdid itself. i bought it to help with my acne scars on my face, i’ve tried a lot of products throughout the years but nothing has really helped as much as this. i’ve literally only been using it for a week and i’m already noticing a huge difference, the scars have faded a LOT which is insane for just a week of use. the bottle is huge and for the price, it’s well worth it. i probably won’t have to buy another one for quite awhile, im sure happy with this!! super excited to see what i look like in a month from now with how fast this is working already

This product goes a long way. Beware of excessive sweat and or heat it will run into eyes. But it’s very good and great for after a shower

Works quite quickly
This product was super quick to rehydrate and smooth out my normal to dry skin . I’ve been using it almost a month now and it’s still full . You’ll get your moneys worth for sure .

Great Product for Non-sensitive Skin!
Ok, so I admittedly purchased this product on a whim, after a coworker (with now amazing skin btw!), told me that her dermatologist recommended it. It wasn’t until after I purchased, that I looked it up on YouTube & realized how controversial the product is amongst dermatologists. So here’s the low-down: It’s incredibly moisturizing. As we age, we are more susceptible to water/moister loss, which worsens signs of aging. This product plumps up my skin up, & seems to smooth my fine lines some. My sunless tanning products now last 2-3 days longer, bc the product is penetrating deeper. It also has a low-grade retinol in it, which is beneficial for anti-aging & sun spots. Why all the controversy? Essential oils. It seems like physicians either love them or hate them. If you do love them, then know that this product smells amazing! If you have sensitive skin, it can increase peeling & breakouts. If your prone to hyperpigmentation, this can worsen it. That said, so far I’m very content with my purchase. I’ll post & update before/after photos over the next 90 days. I’ve attached a picture of my skin changes after 17 days of twice-a-day application. My sun spots are beginning to fade!

I add this oil to my lotions
I love adding this oil to my lotions to give me some extra moisture and skin healing and it does the trick. The only oil that is helping to smooth stretch marks so far.

Scar Improvement
With consistently I have noticed that my scars have faded out significantly before I used this product. This product is the holy grail and I can see why people rave about it. I really am impressed with the result so far. I will for sure buy it again. Remember, consistently is key with using this product.

Good Product
I’ve been using this for over a week now. I put it on under my face moisturizer during the day and it stays moisturized all day. It’s not overly oily and leaves a slight sheen.

I sure do love Amazon. I can’t find this oil anymore in grocery stores. This oil is a godsend, makes my skin glow. Don’t use anything else on my face
