Best canned Tuna!
I love Tuna! I ordered this just to try a new brand. Love that it’s packed in the U.S.A.! No salt added and the Tuna tastes so much fresher than the off-the-shelf tuna brands you can buy at your local grocery stores. Now, if it was on my local grocery store shelf, I’d def pick this first now that I’ve tried it!

Finally, someone saves the tuna addict-at a price
this tuna is what Bumble Bee used to taste like, before they added vegetable broth and made it into cat food. As everything better, it has a cost and if that is the going rate to get decent tuna, it is what it is. Let me say that if not for this product I would be done eating canned tuna.So salvation has a price:-)

On a medically restrictive diet
I’m have a lot of problems. Bad heart, no kidneys, auto-immune disease, severe arthritis in my back. I’ve had a triple bypass, a few operations for infections, and I’m on dialysis. What this all means for my diet is that not only must I eat healthy, but I must eat fresh, clean, quality food. If I don’t, I vomit, period. All my veggies must be thoroughly washed. Fresh meat can’t even be close to expiring. If you want to know if something in your fridge is starting to go bad, give me a small bite and see what happens.When it comes to tuna, the stuff from the store these days makes me sick every time. There is no doubt in my mind that canned tuna at the grocery store was much, much better when I was young. This is true of so many things now (fruit pies, anyone?) For quite awhile, I’ve pondered trying to find quality tuna here on Amazon, and the other day, I finally did it. I read hundreds of reviews accross multiple products, and the reviews for Blue Harbor finally won my purchase.I received my Blue Harbor early today (1 day after ordering). I immediately opened a can and what i saw in there made me smile. It looked to me like someone actually cared about what I would think! Nice white albacore filet, packed solid and looking like everything I’d want from a can of tuna. NO MUSH. Then I made a tuna salad with pickle and celery, spread it on a sandwich with iceberg lettuce, and gave it the old taste test.The reviews don’t lie, folks. And the few who have negative things to say… what?This has to be the best canned albacore there is. I just can’t imagine better.Thanks, Blue Harbor, for proving good canned tuna stIll exists. I honestly wondered.I will never buy any tuna other than Blue Harbor again.

Like the tuna fish of the past
We love love this brand of WILD ALBACORE TUNA, why? First the taste is wonderful and yummy, it reminds my husband of the tuna he had when he was growing up in Brooklyn. Secondly it doesn’t smell awful like most tuna nor does it have a medical taste to it. We highly recommended this specific brand of tuna.

The Way Tuna Should Be!!
This is the best tuna I have had in ages. The chicken of the sea I used to buy in grocery stores has changed. It says on can white albacore in water, but, it is mushie and NOT white. I discovered this tuna and it is so tasty and has a nice white, flake texture. THE BEST!!!

They use rod and reels to catch the tuna and it so fresh and tasty! I will never buy another big name tuna again, they are all garbage. Its worth every cent to buy this. Buy a case its well worth it!!! This is the real wicked Tuna.

Unfortunately it is packed in water
Another brand (last name Planet) is better, because it was packed in it’s own oil. Blue Harbor is good, but is packed in water. I guess it’s just a matter of choice. Do you want tuna packed in it’s own juice, or do you want it WATERED down.

Great to eat right out of the can
The tuna in the can is good quality chunk tuna which I enjoy eating right out of the can. It’s packed in water so the fish isn’t oily. It is delicious as a light meal or snack or mixed with mayonnaise in a simple sandwich. The quality is consistent from can to can so there is never any mixing with the darker fishy meats the way you find in other tuna brands. I can eat it straight out of the can and it’s delicious every time. I recommend this to anyone who thinks about eating tuna out of a can.

High quality tuna, high quality protein value
If you love Tuna and want protein, this tuna is fantastic and it bigger chunks so you can enjoy by itself or on a salad. The other brands are actually shredded bits and pieces of the tuna, which is good for maybe a casserole, but sometimes you want just the tuna and all the protein goodness.

Tuna is clean, firm and well packed. Process uses just enough water to keep the product moist, but you are not purchasing a little fish with your water. Delivery was prompt and timely.

My family’s favorite tuna at a fair price…
We enjoy this tuna so much that I go through 3 cans a week. I was happy to find a good value for these cans of tuna, so I could have them shipped to my home instead of constantly lugging heavy bags of them from the grocery store. Was disappointed that the 12 cans I received were expired 18 months ago. I was refunded and told to toss the cans, which I did, but now I know to keep buying at my store.

The Best Tasting Tuna Ever!
I stopped eating my tuna sandwich to do this review. This is probably the best tuna I have ever tasted. Supposedly StarKist owns the company but it taste nothing like StarKist it’s much much fresher tasting. There is very little water in the can and the fish is not mushy like some other canned tuna. I can’t believe Amazon had it on sale for under $1/can and I only bought 5 cans and now the price is quadruple almost. I will buy again.

Slow decline in quality
I’ve been buying this tuna for a few years, and have noticed a decline in quality.I despise opening a can of tuna sold as premium, and having to pick through the contents, fishing out bloody/bruised bits, scales, veins, etc.I stopped buying the supermarket brands for exactly the above reason. I was thrilled to find I got can after can after can of clean packaged fillets with Safe Harbor, but within the past year, I’d get a sketchy can or two in a batch.Now, I’m finding myself picking through every can, picking out what I consider careless cleaning debris.I’m giving it one more try, then it’s back to hunting for a better source again if it’s the same story. *sigh*

Another Great Find
Yet another great find on Amazon. This isn’t the normal ground up mess you find in most cans of tuna. You’re getting what you pay for. You don’t pour half the weight of the can down the drain. There is very little water and the tuna is solid packed. I really enjoyed the flavor and texture. The other stuff is just cat food.

Solid packed tuna, not 2/3 water.
You get your money’s wirth of tuna. Sime brands marked “water packed” are mostly tuna flavors water! Once you drain off the water there is a scant layer of tuna in the bottom of the can.NOT with this tuna. You get a whole can of flake tuna.Still… My mother’s home made tuna harvested by my father of Catalina Island is still the best tuna ever.This tuna runs close. It’s a whole can of tuna.

Fishy
I frequently crave tuna, and with all this Covid-19 hoarding happening I was truly happy to find “Blue Harbor Wild Albacore Tuna in Water with No Salt Added” was available. Line caught was my goal in finding albacore tuna. Unfortunately it had that back taste that goes back to my childhood on the coast of the odor of dead fish on the beach of Lake Ontario.The texture was there, but the flavor was offputting to me. I’m sorry because I love that Blue Harbor advertises they are only line caught.

Best canned tuna
Recently discovered when looking for canned tuna with no fillers. Was a great surprise. Very clean and tasty. Much more consistent than other tunas which can vary a lot with some cans more stinky than others. We bought another more expensive brand that we dumped cuz it didnt smell great. Not this one. Besides in tuna salad, we even chunked it and put it in pasta with light cheese sauce and it was close to the taste of a fresh tuna meal.

I have bought this item 12 times
This is the only tuna we buy. It is great to have this in the pantry, ready to go. The quality is superior to what I have found in the supermarket, and the price is about the same. It has big chunks of tuna, not shredded tuna like may others. I have attached a photo of an opened can so that you can see. And is white tuna, not darker like many brands I have tried at the supermarket.

Delicious
This is the best tuna I’ve ever eaten. I will never buy another brand again. Believe it or not, I originally bought it to hide my cat’s medicine. Now he has to share with me. I don’t know why grocery-store brands of tuna have soy, but I don’t want it for my cat or myself. Once I started to do an online search for soy-free tuna, I came across Blue Harbor. So glad I found it.

Densely Packed
Way different that the usual canned tuna. The can is densely packed with tuna with just a drip or two of water. That makes it pretty dry but you can add your own water. Why pay for water in a can? Got the no salt one. I needed a little salt, but you can add some. If there is a better brand of whole tuna available, I don’t know what it is.

Good no salt added tuna
This is excellent no salt added tuna. This is one of my favorite no salt added tuna. I only gave it 3 stars for value because the price is more than I pay if I go to local stores. I have been buying things on Amazon to stay out of stores due to Covid. I would buy more on Amazon if their price plus shipping competitive with my area.

Gentle Pleasing Flavor
I was impressed. We buy the Prime and highest grade of tuna. I bought 12 cans and was very pleased. My batch had a gentle fresh taste and aroma. I was very pleased. I have tried other similar products and all are different from regular canned tuna in that it is like whole pieces of tuna. The price here is very reasonable and I will try another 12 if there is a difference – I will update my review.

I had no clue most our tuna in cans comes from CHINA!! Sometimes I open a can of tuna and the smell is horrendous – even my cats wouldnt eat it!! So I searched for made in USA found and ordered from Blue Harbor – O M G!!! I have never tasted such good tuna! Fresh, clean taste – I will NEVER buy another brand – and I have to say seeing that American Flag on the can did my heart wonders! Thank you Blue Harbor – and you have a new customer for life!! Im spreading the word so others can see what a difference between Star Kist, Bumble Bee… nasty compared to Blue Harbor! Thank you !!

Solid pieces of tuna in water. No strong smell.
This canned tuna is closer to fresh fish than any canned fish I have bought previously. When I opened the can, I could barely smell anything. The flavor is delicate, too, so if you are used to stronger tuna flavor in your sandwich or casserole, you might not like this as well as some other brands. For my taste, it is excellent. The texture is also large pieces that separate like well cooked fish should.,

FISH SMELL TOO STRONG !
As tuna goes for 5 onces it’s pricey and it has a strong smell ! The good side it’s in water and does not have salt added ! If I add celery olives and lettuce it makes up to a couple of mini sandwiches !

The BEST canned tuna ever!
We love this tuna, the flavor is so good you can eat it right out of the can, an no can flavor…it’s that good! True, a little less in each can than the typical brands out there, but well worth it! This is the freshest tasting tuna we’ve ever eaten and when you open it and pour off the tiny bit of water, it comes out of the can and leaves NO residue on the bottom of the can…big, tightly-packed chunks of all solid white meat! We highly recommend this brand tuna for all tuna recipes…hot or cold!

You can’t do better than this.
Yes, Blue Harbor is more expensive than the canned tuna you buy at the supermarket. But is is very densely packed. In fact, I measured Blue Harbor against another brand packed in water, and a can of Blue Harbor has almost twice the tuna per can. I don’t even bother to drain it, because the water content is negligible. I like being able to add my own sea salt, too. And it’s thick, as if it were sliced, not minced (or smashed!). I’ll never buy any other brand as long as I can get this one.
