Well made with good buckle, but this collarc did not calm my dog
I really had hoped this collar would have calmed my dog, but, unfortunately it did not. I like the neutral color of this collar and the width. It has a very good buckle that secures it on my dog well. I have an 11 year old 45 pound Border Collie mix. He is in very good health, but he has anxiety. After reading reviews, it appears this collar does work on many dogs. Unfortunately, this did not calm my dog. I have bought others that only lasted 30 days, so I wanted to try this one because supposedly it lasts 90 days. Other brands I purchased did not have a good buckle and the collars were made cheap…..but, those 30 day collars did calm my anxious boy.

Works for my dog
I was initially a little skeptical but when I bought this product for my anxious dog, I quickly noticed that she seemed more relaxed – she doesn’t freak out like she used to when she hears a loud sound or when I leave the house. I’m very pleasantly surprised!

Has helped my dog seem more chill
Our dog can be a little high strung and also get very timid during thunderstorms. This collar seems to help take the edge off and he is acting out less. Still curls up next to me during storms but is much calmer about it.

Works well
My dog loves the park but hates car rides – breathes heavy, paces in the back seat, etc. I bought this collar and I could tell she was much more calm on our daily drive to the park.

doesn’t pace a much
I think this is working well.My Husky paces back and forth at home and when traveling.Wearing this he still does it but I have noticed him laying down for longer periods of time.So I think it works and hopefully, we will see a reduction in his pacing.

It’s a durable easy to use collar that I wanted to love but didn’t notice any calming effect in my 1.5 year old golden retriever….but that just might not work for him to no fault of the seller as everything else about it, is great

Seems to work well.
This bSerene Calming Collar for Dogs seems to work well in helping to take the edge off of a dog’s anxiety and stress.It is easy to place around the dog’s neck and also easy to cut to size if needed. It should last for a good three months and the price is very fair given that. I like that it uses natural pheromones and has no harsh chemicals.Overall, I’d say this is an excellent product to try if your pup needs a little help getting through the day in a less stressful way. Give it a try!

Does seem to help some.
I did the research on the main ingredient, canine appeasing pheromone and found in nursing dogs, they release a special kind of comforting pheromone to let their offspring know they are safe—and that’s exactly the pheromone that’s effective in calming an anxious dog. This pheromone, termed dog appeasing pheromone has been produced synthetically.The research that I have found says it works really well in some pets and not so well in others (I think maybe like catnip that some cats love and other seem indifferent to).My dogs has become more anxious in his older years and has started licking (a dresser, his bed, door molding and more) , since I found out that this is anxiety related I was anxious to order this collar and give it a try.I made the mistake of ordering the Med/large , well because I usually buy him a medium sized sweater because of his longish body, no problem because you just trim off the excess and I sealed that extra up and have enough to use for another collar when this one is done on three months.My dog has seen more relaxed and I have not yet seen him licking (two days now) , so I am hoping that he is one of those dogs that this works well for because I would especially like this for New Years, Fourth of July and when we have to leave him with someone.I would say this is certainly worth a try and see if your pet responds to this and helps reduce his anxiety or unwanted behavior.

It must depend on the dog
A friend of mine who is a vet tech recommended I try a calming collar for my reactive dog. In his case, it doesn’t work at all. But he’s a special kind of crazy, and is actually on doggy prozac already. I think it may work better on dogs with occasional anxiety or maybe separation issues. It’s easy to customize the size, the small fit my skinny pug well.

Got It, Tried It
To be clear, I got it, but the dog tried it.Seems to help a bit and that seems a better course of action than having my dog stunned by any sort of drugs IMO.The collar is only marginally effective at the clasp though and despite having it properly tightened, it has come off a couple of times. To be fair, the dog is a German Shepherd and very boisterous in his daily life.Worth a try IMO if your dog is overly exuberant too.

Works Well
bSerene Calming Collar for Dogs,My dog has had really bad separation anxiety and I am trying to leave her home alone. This collar has really helped. I only use this when I am gone since she is fine when I am with her. I love that this has no scent and she isn’t bothered while wearing it. She is normally a very chill dog except when I try to leave her home alone.

Works with my dog!
My baby dog gets easily stress when around with other dogs and this helps her calm so I highly appreciate it. The fitting was nice and it looks like a regular collar. I just find it expensive but I think its worth so I highly recommend it!

The dog doesn’t mind it
I picked this up for our oldest pup who is terrified of thunderstorms and fireworks. Overall he seems less anxious since we started using it; though it certainly didn’t cure his fears. It is cheaper that the oral medicine the vet has him on all summer long (that also seems to “help but not cure”), so I think this collar is worth a try. It didn’t irritate his skin and he didn’t seem to mind wearing it.

Didn’t Help
We may have an extraordinary case, and this product may work for other dogs with other issues. BUT for our old terrier that is losing her vision and gets confused/restless this didn’t do anything at all. We didn’t notice any reduction in her stress level.

Seems to be working
It is hard to say for certain, but this seems to be calming my goldendoodle down a bit. He still has a ton of energy, but seems to jump up on us a bit less and not bark as crazily in the mornings. It has not completely stopped these behaviors, but does seem to have a subtle effect. Assuming this is not just my imagination (subtle changes are hard to detect), this is a good product. Definitely worth trying if youve got a crazy dog.

Perfect
This collar is perfect for my antsy dog. Anytime I’m more than 5ft from her she whines and this is a nice way to keep her calm so I can do things around the house. She has not gotten sick and I haven’t seen and adverse reactions.

I think it helped…
I decided to try this collar out right before a road trip. My girl travels well but sometimes drinks less water than normal. She did great on the way but on the way back I think she was just ready to get home. The first night she wore it she hardly barked. She has free roam in our fenced yard in a pretty dense neighborhood. She did great! Wasn’t anxious that I pulled out the suitcase because she knows that she most likely is not going to see us for a few day so I thought why not try it on the night before. She was super calm the whole night. We even had an encounter with another dog that was charging at us and she remained calm. I was super proud and happy. Instead of cutting the excess off I took a twist tie and kept all of it intact because I felt it was wasteful for how much it costs, I know it lasts 3 months but still. That is my only drawback is the price.

May work best on dogs with occasional anxiety
This didn’t work for my pup, but to be fair, we’ve tried seemingly everything for her anxiety and absolutely nothing has worked, so I’m really not surprised. My dog gets very anxious in any new situation or when she senses change and has an especially tough time in the car. I had her wear this on a road trip, but I think her emotions are just too strong and overpower it. We have tried so many things (including prozac) in the past and nothing has worked, so I was just hoping for a miracle!If your dog has more occasion anxiety (instead of it being a personality trait lol), I think this may work on them, so definitely give it a try. I like that it’s pretty discrete and doesn’t look weird on my pup’s neck- a cute bandana mostly covers it up.

Not noticing a difference.
Easy to put on my German Shepherd. However, it hasn’t seemed to do anything for her yet. She tends up to be a bit high-strung and restless and nothing has changed. I’ll be traveling in a week and having someone else watch over her, so I’m hoping it will make that less stressful for her. Hasn’t hurt, as in she doesn’t seem to have a negative reaction to it, so it’s worth a shot. Note that it is a collar and some people think it is safer to never leave a collar on for strangulation hazards.

Calming Collar for Dogs
The bSerene Calming Collar for Dogs seems to be helping my dog and keeping him calmer. I walk my dog every morning and normally, we pass by a house with a little Dachshund that always barks at my dog. My dog is usually pretty calm anyways but that dog barking makes him all excited and it’s harder to walk him and get past house with the Dachshund. Since he’s been wearing this calming collar, the dachshund doesn’t seem to bother him anymore. No matter, how much it barks at him.This calming collar mimics the natural pheromones released by mother dogs to help calm your dog. They don’t have a bunch of harmful chemicals in them so I feel better about using these collars on my dog. They also last for up to 90 days.

Took the edge off of our puppy’s separation anxiety
This helped our young puppy who’s dealing with a case of separation anxiety. Our vet recommended this type of calming collar and it does seem to help a little. However, it is not a panacea; she still whines and barks when we’re not home but it seems to less often and for less time overall.She doesn’t seem to mind wearing the collar so we’ll just leave it on for the recommended 3 months and hope she continues to improve to the point of not needing this or other calming support

My dog is a pitbull, so I got the large. But the large is very big I had to cut off quite a lot so I will probably fit the largest dog. My dog has a bit of anxiety, is scared of a lot of stuff…she was scare of me just putting this collar around her neck. She does bark a lot whenever anyone is in front of our house. Since I have put it on she hasn’t barked at anyone in front of our house but she is still afraid of her normals like vacuum, getting her nails clipped..etc but she does seem a bit more calmed down. But I am not sure.

Seems to work
My dog is a rescue who suffers from separation anxiety and barks at people on our street from the window. She has several scratching ticks and yawns, which can also be a sign of stress. I Chose bSerene Calming Collar for Dogs in large, and it fit my 88lb dog with room to spare. She does seem more mellow. I still notice some of her ticks, but possibly to a lesser extent. Other calming collars we’ve used have been heavily scented, but I can’t smell this one.

May help your pup a little bit
I got this for my medium size dog who is very stressed out by beeping noises and thunder. I thought it might provide a little extra calming for her. I think it helped a little, but for the price I’m not sure it was worth it. Maybe other dogs who are a bit more calm would benefit from it.

We got the larger size of this bSerene Calming Collar for Dogs, and it’s huge! You fit it and then cut to size. It’s hard to imagine a dog too big to wear this. Our two year old rescue, Luna, is afraid of just about everything. She looks menacing to some, but she’s the sweetest. When we go for walks, she often refuses to go more than a couple houses from our home. If she hears a bus, truck, loud car, she’s done. We can usually get her to take a walk only in the evenings. Fireworks are the worst.We put this on her about a week ago. There’s no obvious change. There’s also no significant risk with this collar. We’ll keep it on her and hold that it helps. As there are no known side effects, we feel this is a product with great potential. If it helps, hurray!! It’s worth a try!

Slight help
We have a really high strung border collie and cocker spaniel mix who definitely has some anxiety and a high energy level. We had hoped that it would get better the older he got, but he is 3 now and it’s still just as bad as it was when he was a puppy. We have tried some other products in the past and nothing has really worked very well, so I was totally willing to give this bSerene Calming Collar a try.This is a pheromone type collar that releases calling pheromones. We have had it in him for a little over two weeks now and I honestly can’t really tell much of a difference other than he seams just slightly less anxious. When I say slightly I really mean slightly. So overall I’m going with 3 stars for just ok and will update if anything changes for the better or worse.

Sadly did not work for my dog
This bSerene Calming Collar for Dogs sadly did not work for my dog.This collar looks like an ordinary flea collar with an adjustable buckle. If your dog is very small, the end can be shortened with ordinary scissors. The collar is said to be impregnated with pheromones that reduce stress in anxious dogs and thus reduce the unwanted behaviors.I tried this on my Chihuahua mix, who is anxious and shakes when in stressful situations and chews up paper when stressed out. He’s been wearing it for over 2 weeks now and I really cannot see any calming effect. It may work for other dogs but it doesn’t seem to have any effect on my pup.

Works and lasts a long time
These collars are really awesome and last a long time. They don’t really have a smell which is nice. I like that they are packaged to keep them fresh too. These are easy to put on and adjust. I have a large 80 pound dog and she does not seem to notice it. It’s great for what would be usually stressful situations like car rides and company coming over. Additionally wearing it everyday makes her less anxious overall.
