    Connect 4 was always a favorite game of mine as a child, and I was very excited to play it again. It’s a fair price for a fun and easy to learn with great play-ability. The plastic also seems to be made well: the board and stands fit snugly with little play, and the pieces themselves are nice.All in all, I highly recommend it to anyone who liked connect 4 growing up, or have children in their lives who enjoy some competition and using their noggins!-Joe

    Love to make the kids cry

    I love this game, but with small children, I think I need to just let them play other small children as there is no option to lose nicely unless you just randomly place chips and ignore the obvious. I opt for some random fun like Uno or Sorry with the little ones, otherwise I make them cry.

    So much fun!

    I have been a connect four person for YEARS!!! After finally breaking my last board ( yes… we play a lot of Connect 4 in our house), I had to finally buy a new one. I honestly have not used the blue chips included in this set… I tend to stick to the original rules of the game… What can I say, I’m old-fashioned :). Maybe one day we’ll break them out.. interesting concept- just not sure if we’re ready for it as of yet :).The board itself is made of a hard, and durable plastic. The chips are also very sturdy. I see this board last us quite a number of years.

    Simple Great Gift

    I’ve taught school for years and I have grandchildren and this is one game they all like. My grandson who is autistic knew the game but he always takes every game and creates his own version before he plays it the way the games rules say it to play. We have played this game both ways.

    Missing blue blockers which I didn’t catch as it was a Christmas present. Too late to return but it should not be marked used like new if parts are missing.

    Great classic game!

    This is a wonderful classic game and I was so happy to find it on Amazon. The game board isn’t the best quality plastic, but I didn’t see any better quality options anywhere. The game was easy to set up, and it was easy to teach my child how to play. Great game if you want to help your child work on those critical thinking skills, plus its fun! Overall, great find, and glad this game is still on the market. Brings back many childhood memories.

    This is a fun game to play. It is a small size so it is Convenient for our 6 year old kid. Great price and it functions very well. I believe it can be a good gift for young kids/toddlers but not for older kids.

    Connect The Blue?

    Connect 4 is a timeless game. While this box isn’t the best, the game still is. To add some “flair”, we use the blue chips every few games. It invites more complexity, but I don’t know if it makes the game truly better or worse.

    Connect 4 has gotten really cheaply made since I owned come as a kid. I bought this for my nieces, I wasn’t too impressed but the price is cheap so it wasn’t to bad of a buy

    Classic fun

    Great gift for anyone who loves games. The new blue blockers add a faster game play option.I do not like the crinkle jagged cut of the new disc’s rim. It seems to get caught in the frame of the structure, which could cause frustration for kids.

    Perfect for seniors

    My father was diagnosed with early alzheimers. I’ve been looking for activities to engage his mind. This is perfect! We played several rounds for 30 mins and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He was planning his moves and strategizing on how to prevent me from winning. This is great!

    Classic game with a new twist

    This game offers the classic Connect 4 game with an additional new spin if you choose to play with a twist. The pieces are durable and hold up well over time. The product arrived in great condition, though our box has become a bit dented over years of use. Great game and quality product!

    Fun times are back

    Love this classic childhood game. Not sure why they now added the “blue chips” to block( never bothered to learn its purpose). Bought it to play with friend that is currently in rehab after suffering a stroke. We had fun playing. We can’t wait for our next match!

    Good, traditional family game

    We bought this during lockdown and it has been fun for my kids aged 3 and 6 years old. There’s nothing much to this game that has been around for decades now. It is pretty much the next level from tic-tac-toe. It helps the kids learn the basics to skills like game strategy, and thinking ahead. It is light and easily carried and assembled by the children. The catch all of (“fall all”) clip at the bottom is also easily manipulated by young tiny hands so when unsupervised, they occupy themselves with filling the grid up with tokens for the fun of it. The tokens double up as “money” or “pepperoni” for their pizza for my kids when they get distracted by their kitchen set. We have yet to change up the game to use the blue tokens but the kids are enjoying the game 1 year on. So far so good.

    If you’re looking for a classic, great, easy game, then look no further. I can spend hours playing this. It’s super easy to learn and you can always learn new things. I’m not a chess player by any means but there is some think ahead strategy needed and my mind likes it :)I played this game growing up as a kid and I still find it just as enjoyable (if not more).There is a little twist with blue pieces but I honestly haven’t played with them yet (and I’ve had the game for a couple months).Arrived in great condition and quickly.

    Connect Four in a row, BUT before your opponent does it. Fun game!

    Connect Four is a winner for the very young, the little bit older, and the lot older (yes, the grownups). The really small ones have fun dropping the colored discs into patterns and then releasing them from the bottom. Fun. A little older kids will be getting the idea of putting four discs in a row while picking up a bit of basic math. Some fun and some learning at that age. The grownups should enjoy the game as they attempt to connect four in a row before their opponent does so. Setup is pretty quick. Slip on the two legs and the game is set to go.     Let me help you

    Connect Four is a family fun game from my childhood. This game is built with a bit better construction than the game of my youth although played just the same. My 6 yr old twins and 10 yr old grandkids all enjoy competing in this game for bragging rights of who is the most clever for the day.It stores easily in its game box and is set up quickly for play. Connect Four has been a staple in my game closet for 30 plus years. I purchased this to replace my love-worn game from the early 80’s. I hope this review is helpful in convincing you that this is 10$ well spent for decades of family fun. It’s a two-player game, but we play it tournament style so all can play when more than 2 want to compete. If you don’t lose the checkers… you’ll love this game still in 2050!

    A great classic game with a new twist of some blue chips that can be used to block, we just play without them like the traditional version, but the quality of this game is still on par with the old versions which isn’t the case with all classic board games these days. Has provided many hours of simple fun with kids.
