   overall amazing but would give 4.5 stars if i could

   first off, just want to say that I almost returned this because I could get a “comparable” keyboard for $45… but this thing feels so much better, and I need like 4 keyboards for my setup and I decided to keep this as my daily driver. Its so much nicer than pretty much all its competitionWith that said my complaints….1.) the keycaps arent smooth they are this textured feeling. maybe its for you, but as of now its still not my favorite2.) I wish the volume scroll wheel had more resistance, I was going to go with the cheaper rocat vulcan 121 (which I have and also love) overall the typing on the k70 feels better than the competition from rocat along with a better wrist rest. But the haptic clicks on the rocat keyboard are elite and I wish corsair could replicate it on the k70

   Brilliant Keyboard

   I at first had a Corsair K70 with the Cherry MX Red switches. Too sensitive for my liking. So I thought I’d try this one with the brown switches. This is the sweet spot. Great keyboard. Love the color options given with the icue software. Keys feel good. Nice feedback. These DO make some noise when pressed. But not overly loud as other reviewers have mentioned. Detachable USB C cable. Just be advised this keyboard does NOT have an auxiliary USB A port like the older K70 keyboards. But it also only has 1 USB connection to make to your PC instead of 2 like the prior iteration of this keyboard. Overall this keyboard is a great hybrid office / gaming keyboard. Highly recommend!

   Nice keyboard

   This keyboard is much more sophisticated than the standard K70 RGB Mk. II. While it doesn’t have a USB passthrough, and doesn’t include replacement gaming keycaps, it’s other new features more than make up for it (I never actually used the keycaps, anyway). Recommended.

   A nice keyboard for typing

   I bought this to use for gaming and typing. It’s definitely louder than I might have hoped, but not too much so. The typing feel is quite nice. I like the layout, the media controls, and the detachable palm rest is surprisingly useful. Setting up a custom lighting scheme was also very easy.My only real gripe is the USB-C socket at the back is recessed, so you can’t easily use a right-angled cable.Since buying it, I’ve hammered out more than a hundred thousand words of fiction, so I’ve given it a thorough beating, and it hasn’t let me down. The more I use it, the more I like it.Definitely recommended!

   lots-o-Metallic Twang

   I upgraded from the original K70, and found the spacebar to be better stabilized, and with a standard keyboard layout, I was able to also buy custom keycaps (found the new legend font to be ugly and hard to read…). I also really liked that the iCUE profiles just switched over without any issues to the new model.My biggest complaint is that it has a loud metallic twang on every keystroke, which I can live with, but can imagine it would be of great annoyance to others.

   The switches and the kaycaps feel so low quality compared to other Corsair products
