Some feedback troubles; otherwise good
This is handy and compact little product. It comes nicely packed in its own charging case, with the usual assortment of accessories, including various sized domes, a charging cord, and a brush for cleaning. The hearing aid’s product page claims that it is for those with severe hearing loss, but my understanding is that over the counter devices like these are more geared to mild to moderate loss, and getting a good hearing exam from an audiologist or hearing specialist is a good idea anyway, but those who are new to hearing aids might like to start with something over the counter and less expensive first.The device is easy to use, and comes with instructions that are better than many others I have tried.The volume adjustment button is quite different from others I have seen, and could be easier for those with arthritic fingers to manipulate. I like that they are labeled with colors for right and left ears.I found that it did indeed charge up in less than 2 hours, and lasted probably close to the 30 hours that is expected.Unfortunately, I have had some ongoing troubles with feedback, and though I have worn prescription hearing aids and tried other devices similar to this one, the usual strategies haven’t worked consistently with these.When feedback has been under control, these have had quite good sound and have been comparable to other similar devices, and they feel comfortable and secure in my ears.As for feedback, I am still tweaking and experimenting, and hope to figure this out on my own, and will post here again if and when I do.

We will keep trying to get them just right
I ordered these DOFODT Rechargeable Hearing Aids for Seniors, because after running power equipment for years, my spouse is needing the television turned up so loud that our kids and grandkids are complaining, and he seems to not hear what people are saying, in some settings. Also, my hearing isn’t as good as it once was. My grandkids told me I need hearing aids. I thought these would be helpful for at least one of us. With the smallest rubber tips (it came with three sizes), my husband and I both thought they were hard to get in and stay in our ears. My husband noticed, right away that these hearing aids picked up every little background noise. He didn’t like that. We adjusted the volume and he said it didn’t help. I tried them and didn’t noice any amplification at all. It maybe that these are not right for us, or we need to use them more to figure out a good volume for one of us. I like that these hearing aids are rechargeable. They charge when they are in their travel case and it is plugged in to a USB plug. These did not come with the part that plugs into the outlet. They turn on automatically, when removed from the case and turn off when placed back in it. They charge pretty fast, too. We will continue to work on getting the volume to the right level, for one of us to use these.

They definitely amplify sound
I got these hearing aids because my ears are just not what they used to be. I can’t afford the really expensive hearing aids and I also didn’t want to risk a lot of money on hearing aids and then find out that I wouldn’t use them. I have worn these some and I can tell you that they really amplify the sound. I can hear a lot better with them in. They charged up pretty quickly and seem well made. I’m not used to wearing anything in my ears so it’s something that I will have to get used too but from what I can see, these hearing aids are worth what they cost and will probably last for a long time

They work great
I bought these because my hearing is not what it used to be and I wanted to see if these would help. The first thing I noticed after trying them out is that they definitely amplified the sounds around me. Specifically, the TV was much easier to hear and I didn’t need to have the volume overly loud. They are a bit uncomfortable to wear but I’m hoping I’ll get used to them over time.

Some feedback and amplification is moderate
There is less feedback on these than others we’ve tried but the feedback gets worse the more you turn it up. It becomes more sensitive to any touch or adjusting. This is for a dad of young kids who still want to be carried and anytime they lay their heads on dad’s shoulder it’s feedback city. Probably ok for less active older adults but too sensitive to touch for us.

Not just for seniors:
The product description perpetuates a myth that hearing aids are just for seniors. Step one is hearing test with this model of hearing amplifier. This midsized in-ear set from a company with a hard to prounce name does have noise cancellation. Don’t expect perfection in this modest level price range, however. Hearing loss runs in our family and my father wore a hearing aid for decades. This model includes two hearing aids, (actually amplifiers) whether you need in each ear or not. Its average sound gain is unknown and peak gain is also unlisted. It is rechargeable and well packaged if considering as a gift. It comes with a fine storage case, too.My suggestion is to first discuss your needs with your audiologist, and not one whose primary goal is to sell you THEIR product. Second, make a return visit and have your hearing tested with this device.With any hearing aid, make sure you are not getting extraneous noises that will eventually drive you crazy. Feedback can be challenging to control with this type yet early set of ears is different. This model is covered by Amazon’s 30 day free returns if not working well for you. Most comparable hearing amplifiers are, too.

Charge up fast & DO work well for the $$!
We have 3 people at home, my hubby, his brother & elderly mom, with hearing loss. This can be a frustrating place to live when you toss in 3 kids with boisterous, loud voices. Hearing loss is for sure, a frustrating thing. I’m always repeating myself to my husband, and him to his brother and mother.. I try hard to help them all find quality hearing devices that don’t break the bank, but kind of not only help them, but also me in the process. These are a hit!These are aesthetically one of the best amplifiers we have reviewed. These are small, skin-colored, and fit well inside of the ears. They are barely visible during wear, which is an important feature for most people. They don’t want to look or feel old, not in this day in age, although hearing loss can occur at any age.These also have a great charging case. These charge up fast & maintain their charge for a long period of time. That’s important, too. People don’t wanna go without them for long, and don’t want to need to charge them every 1/2 a day. These last longer then one full day of use. Close to a day and 1/2, which is awesome.Nobody here (in my home) can affford true blue hearing aids. Do take note that these will help and DO amplify voices and other sounds to make hearing loss more bearable, but aren’t custom made & as powerful as true hearing aids, but the consensus over here, for the price tag, these are truly a worthy buy! They help a lot.I highly recommend these for mild-moderate hearing loss. The low end of severe is OK. You can buy with confidence, if these sound like they will suit your wants & needs.5 stars for these particular hearing amplifiers, by DOFODT!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️** I hope that my review has been helpful 😊. **

It works if your can’t hear everything
Some types of hearing loss can be supplemented by just amplifying the sounds in the area your in. In those cases this hearing aid will work fine. It takes a few days to get comfortable with it I recommend that you do it for short periods of time and remove when it gets uncomfortable. After a few days of doing this you can leave them in for longer periods. Usually in my lifestyle I find I usually don’t need it more than 4 hours at a time then I put it in its case which recharges the aids between uses. If you have a dupe of deafness where the frequency of the sound not the volume need improvement I would recommend you get a check up with a ENT doctor to find out what type of aid will work best. Other wise by just increasing the volume the frequencies you have no problem with will be too loud.So if increasing the volume of every sound is what you need than this one will work for you.

Less Expensive & Easy to Use
When I took the photo I was wearing one in my left ear because I now have choclear ear damage in that ear. It is easy to put and to set volume. All without using an app and Bluetooth. I hate using bluetooth.I did see a ear doctor and bought hearing aids in which I will be returning the first of next month.These are comfortable and easy to use. The volume setting is what I love the best for again no app.Update: I only wear the left ear hearing aid which is plenty for me.Great for watching TV as well. I wear one in my right closer to our TV. It works Great!
