– Provides immediate and all-day relief.
– Treats pain at the source.
– Designed for casual shoes, sneakers, work boots/shoes.
How to use
Step 1: Insert left orthotic into left shoe, logo side down.
Step 2: Repeat for the right orthotic.
Replace insoles every six (6) months or at the first signs of wear.
How it works
Heel pain can occur for many reasons, whether it’s heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, or general overuse. All of these causes can be aggravated by the impact of each step.
Dr. Scholl’s Pain Relief Orthotics for Heel provide a combination of cushioning and arch support to protect from the jarring shock of each step.
Heel spurs
Visible via X-ray and protruding as much as half an inch, heel spurs themselves aren’t often very painful, but they can cause heel pain and can be present with other conditions such as plantar fasciitis, and Achilles Tendinitis.*

Plantar fasciitis
Plantar Fasciitis is the pain and inflammation at the point where the thin band of tissues called the plantar fascia connects your heel bone to your toes. This tissue helps support the bones of your arch and absorbs some of the strain you put on your feet, whether from running or other kinds of vigorous exercise. Pain that is commonly intense when getting out of bed is a common sign of Plantar Fasciitis, a particular type of heel pain.*

Bought these and another pair.
Bought these & another pair off Amazon. Didn’t love these. Not really any better than the ones that come with the shoes to begin with. Had I thought about it I probably would have returned them. Like the other pair more as it provided more support.

Aaah, sweet relief!
I’ve been troubled with heel pain for several weeks, now diagnosed by the podiatrist as plantar fasciitis with a very tiny bone spur. (Her words, which may help others: pf will affect almost everyone at some point in their lives. A root cause is tightness in the back of the legs, particularly the calves and hamstrings. Stretching is not only part of the pf treatment, but also preventative care.)I tried the Dr. Scholl’s heel cups and they helped some, but there still was a lot of discomfort. These larger versions did the trick immediately, and my feet are SO much better. They have firm gel that cushions more of the bottom of the foot than just a feel cup, especially that foremost part of the heel leading into the arch. (I have a medium to high arch.) I slipped these inside my regular running shoes, and there is only a very slightly more snug fit, similar to wearing a thicker pair of socks.More stretching and some anti-inflammatory treatment will still be in the plan, but these inserts have instantly given me more relief than I’ve had in weeks. Highly, highly recommend.

Seems to have helped, easy to swap shoes
Had a mild bout of either plantar fasciitis or insertional Achilles tendinopathy, using this in my shoes seemed to help quite a bit. I like it’s not a full insert so I could just easily swap it to different pairs of shoes as needed, save a few bucks that way.

Not as cracked up to be.
Most days these hurt my feet rather than help. It’s the arch that hurts it. And the sole for the heels, it was gone in a day.

If you need a sign, this is it…
I wore these in college and they were a life saver. I am 21 and although I am young I have struggled with my weight and being fit. On top of that, i have relatively flat feet. I was getting a lot of arch/heel pain in my feet. My doctor told me to lose weight and to wear supportive shoes/insoles. However when you’re young, in college, and on the go constantly you’re probably not very concerned about wearing orthopedic shoes and insoles. It was after moving into my new apartment that I realized I needed something for my feet ASAP. The next day after moving I was in so much pain. I actually had to call off work because I couldn’t make it to my door without a sharp pain in my heel/arch. Went to the doctor and was told my symptoms were a lot similar to that of plantar fasciitis. Again, had to lose weight and get some good insoles. But being a broke college student I didn’t have a lot of money! I bought some cheap insoles from the dollar store and those hardly helped. Couldn’t exercise properly because after 10 minutes of doing anything with my feet, I couldn’t anymore. Then I found these at Walmart and OH MY GOD.These were perfect!! They’re not too hard on your feet like the tough plastic insoles, but are still firm and give you some nice arch support relieving pressure/pain from other spots. It did take a bit to get used to them (my feet were REALLY flat) but after a week or two I couldn’t imagine leaving the house without them! They fit in my converse, vans, running shoes, and boots perfectly. They give me a “bounce” to my step and have completely took my foot pain away. They allowed me to start working out more, go for longer walks (super helpful on a college campus!) and overall be more active. The only complaint i have is because they are Gel, they do wear out kind of fast. I have to buy a new pair every 2-3 months to keep the arch support. I don’t mind tho, as these have really helped my flat feet. I think these would also be a great transitioning sole for people who had never worn insoles before or have too much pain from the regular plastic ones. Overall great insole, have also recommended it to my mom and she loves it too!

Not for running. You will be better of with a better shoe. For walking, it helps a bit. Pushes your weight forward toward the front of your foot.

Dramatically reduced pain while walking, eliminated it afterward!
I don’t have a diagnosis of plantar fasciitis, so if you’re looking for reviews specific to that condition, my review may not help you. I do, however have heel pain. Six years ago, I started stepping up my activity from about 40 minutes of low to medium intensity walking a day to about 1-1.5 hours per day of fast, intense walking with intervals of running. I developed pain in my left heel that didn’t go away with a few days of rest, elevation, and pain. I soldiered on, but the pain got worse, to the point where stepping with that foot was extremely painful. My doctor and I eventually figured out that I had developed a stress fracture in my left calcaneus (the large, triangular bone in the heel of the foot)- a pretty unusual location for a stress fracture. I was on a knee scooter for about 6 weeks. It was not fun. I was only 27 at the time, making stress fractures from what was not particularly high-impact activity unlikely, but I also have pancreatitis, which affects my ability to not only eat a full and nutritionally complete diet, but also my ability to absorb the nutrients and supplements I do eat. After I recovered, I slowed down my physical activity and got myself some more supportive shoes. Fast forward to now- I’ve recently moved from 1-2 hours of moderate-fast walking per day to 1-2 hours of fast, intense walking with some jogging intervals. And I’ve started to have heel pain again. So I bought these heel support insoles, and I’m convinced. I love that they don’t have a sticky side to mount into shoes, so I didn’t have to worry about running my expensive running shoes if they didn’t work. Bonus- I’ll be able to use them in different shoes without having to buy multiple pairs. That said- if you are using the insoles with a less structured shoe, the fact that they don’t stick to the shoe’s own insole could be an issue for you (I’m thinking about nurse’s slide-in Danskos, for example). They stay in my New Balance running shoes just fine- sometimes I have to be careful not to push the insole forward when I’m putting the shoes on, but they don’t slide around when I’m wearing them. I was a little worried that the insoles would lift my heel up too far and I’d have slippage, but it worked out fine- however, ymmv.Tl;dr:I was having some mild to moderate pain during and after exercise before I got the insoles- now I occasionally have a little twinge near the end of a walk/jog, but none after exercise or when I’m relaxing or just walking around the house, etc. I am a *very* satisfied customer. I would (and probably will) buy again, and I would enthusiastically recommend to others.

Better than I expected
When I first bought these, I didn’t expect much. How can only half an insole stay in place? Won’t it feel bad? Why can’t my ball of my foot enjoy squishy goodness too? Who’s crappy idea was this?Let me just say, I’ve bought 2 pairs, and I’ll keep buying more. First off, I’ve been through a lot of fancy insoles, and I was tired of buying expensive insoles that did nothing for my heel pain. THESE FIXED IT. FOR ABOUT TEN BUCKS. And all of my worries about it being half an insole are unfounded, I really don’t notice that the front of my foot isn’t as squishy, and they stay in place remarkably well.I also needed insoles for some dressy boots, and the toe box was too tight for a normal full size insole. But guess what? These were perfect, and I didn’t have problems walking around in stiff, uncomfortable, new boots for a tour. So that’s use number 2- can’t fit a full size insole? Try this instead.

No more bruises.
I purchased these insoles because my shoes were leaving a pretty bad bruise on my right heel. I even went to my doctor trying to figure out what the pain was. I’m not on my feet all day but I love high heels. I purchased one pair and transfer them to different shoes as I wear them. Problem solved in the matter of 1.5 weeks. I really like these. I can tell the difference in how my shoes feel. Would highly recommend!

They made my feet hurt and are too thick to fit well into the shoes I own.
I gave a neutral rating since they did not work for me, but they may for others. These inserts made my feet hurt, and were really uncomfortable in my shoes– I guess my shoes are not tall enough for them?I tried using these inserts with Altra Lone Peak shoes. I was in pain within a couple hours. Tried again a few more times, same result. I got the half length inserts because the Altras have a massive toe box where no full length insert is going to fit (think clown shoes). I ended up buying Altra Paragons to use without any insert. The Paragon’s extra thick cushion-y soles solved the heel pain issue for me, at the cost of less grip on the trails.Hopefully these inserts work better for someone else.

Alright- some relief
I was having terrible plantar fasciitis, so I decided to try these. They did provide some relief. At the end of the day when I took off my shoes, my heels didn’t seem nearly as bad. That being said, they weren’t the most comfortable. For some reason in one shoe it was worse, but in both it felt like I was walking on a tennis ball type lump. I adjusted them several times. Over time the lump feeling lessens. But it was weird at first. They also caused calf pain at first. I workout a lot and they were hard to workout with. Over time they seemed more comfy but at first they caused calf pain. Also, they don’t really stick in your shoe and just walking around they don’t move around. Working out these are almost impossible depending on what you are doing. If you’re doing planks, burpees, anything facing downward they tend to start sliding toward your toes and it’s annoying. No matter how tight your shoes are they still do it. Overall they are alright and did provide relief. I used mine for a few months before I tossed them out. I did not buy a new set. Worth a try but I think I will try something new.

Much better options out there
I got sucked in by all the positive reviews. Mistake. I bought there for relief and help with Plantar Fasciitis. All you have to do is look at the pictures of them and you can clearly see that there is very little of anything there. It’s wafer thin and, honestly, I could not even tell it was there. And it certainly did nothing to relieve the PF discomfort or pain. I saw another review that said a piece of cardboard would be better. I 100% agree. This is next to useless. I ended up going to Walgreens and purchase their own brand on shoe insert and it works great. If you are just wanting a piece of foam in your shoe, this will be great for you. If you actually want it to do something, look elsewhere.

They are doable
I’ve been using these for years because so far they have been the only thing that work. That said they don’t last long for someone that works on their feet all night, but my biggest complaint is their short size. Because they are not full length they move in the shoe all the time which causes arch pain. Searching for a better option, but in the meantime……

Adding my vote to the pile…
Like a lot of others reviewing this product I have developed plantar fasciitis, heel spurs *and* Achilles tendinitis in one foot from years of concrete floors and poor shoe choices. Ah, well… whattaya gonna do? Not live in pain, that’s what! After diagnosis, I flailed about trying to find what worked and what didn’t and tried these out of desperation as I had found no insert that allowed my foot to heal while still allowing me to work. Never looked back. You can just tell when it’s time to replace them (in other words, when I start to get that ache again, I switch them out and viola magic time!). For the last few weeks these inserts have been unavailable and I chose to go with the Dr. Scholl’s Plantar Fasciitis Pain Relief Orthotics – and for me they just don’t cut it. Not everything works for everyone, right? Super happy to see the heel pain relief orthotics back in and I’m pouncing on them before it’s too late.

Amazing product that stops plantar fasciitis pain
I’m on my feet 12 hours a day. I recently purchased new boots and on the first day of wearing them, my heels were screaming of pain. I did some research and came down with the strong possibility that it is plantar fasciitis. So I tried a new insole. The new insole did not help. Then I tried stacking a new insole with the shoes original insole for additional support. This did not help either.I then bought a different brand insole and wore it with the shoe. This didn’t help me very much so I was out of options and debating purchasing a new set of boots.I finally landed on this little insert and said I’ve already tried different ones and this is the only one that seemed to focus specifically on plantar fasciitis so I said to hell with it, I’ll try one more before I decide to spend another couple hundred on new boots. Turns out this little guy was the perfect remedy. Like normal, your feet will be tired by the end of the day from working on your feet for 12 hours, but I stopped getting that sharp pain on my heel.I’m not one to write very many reviews… but this helped me immensely. I highly recommend trying this if you have plantar fasciitis and want a remedy prior to buying new footwear.

Worked very well for heel pain
I have been wearing these for approx 2 weeks now for right heel pain (could not walk without pretty strong sharp pain). I did not have much hope that these would help much but it turns out they worked very well for me. My wife and I are in our seventies but still try to get 10,000 steps in every day with our dog. I was having a bad go at that about three weeks ago when I came down with heel spurs in my right foot. I was looking over ortho recommended walking shoes that cost almost $200 and my Scottish side took over and I ordered this “thrifty” alternative. Just back now from 2-mile afternoon dog walk… heel pain gone.Inserts are thin, I put them in both shoes even though only my right heel was a problem.

I prefer the full length version
These are okay, but after wearing them, I prefer the full length version. I can feel too much of the transition from where these end and the drop to the regular sole. They might work okay in some open toe shoes.

I bought these insoles for heel pain, unknown cause. I’ve had heel pain in my left heel for approximately 1 month. I did some quick research online and narrowed down my issue to either heel spur or plantar fasciitis because it hurts mostly when I’m standing and walking in the expected area of my foot. I tried compression socks with no relief, so my next step was to try insoles. These insoles have too much arch support for me. When I put them in my shoes, I felt like I was walking on a speed bump with a lot of pressure on my arches. Pretty uncomfortable. But I gave them time to form to my feet. No relief from the pain. I’ve had them in my shoes for 2.5 weeks, and they’re now pretty flat and still not relieving my pain.I saw a dr., and he’s sending me for an X-ray and referred me to a podiatrist. I think I’m going to try custom orthotic insoles next on the recommendation of my husband and see if they help. These are inexpensive, so they were worth a try, but they are unhelpful for me. Would not buy again.

23,000 steps and I wasn’t limping!
I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and knew I needed extra support for an upcoming trip; I am limping and can barely walk after a couple of hours barefoot walking around the house. I wore these inside sturdy ankle boots (important: these are already comfy and supportive shoes that I’d broken in), and I didn’t struggle with heel pain the whole trip. We walked everywhere—our top steps day was 23,000–and I ached everywhere *except* my heels. The difference is amazing! Really helpful.

Seriously- is this a joke. That’s exactly what I said to myself when I opened these up and saw how thin they were. I don’t know who is leaving positive reviews, but I would need about 3 more of these in my shoe to help with my heel pain/plantar fasciitis. There has to be a better alternative on the market or just some 1/2 inch gel I could cut to size, because Dr. Scholls aint cutting it.

These really help with heal pain, but they need to be put in place every time you put on your shoe.
These really helped with my heel pain. It took a couple of days to get used to the arch support (which I always find with new inserts) Because they are not full length, you have to shift them into place every time you put your shoe on; I have to tap my shoe so it’s in the very back, and to the inside edge. Once the shoe is on, the insole stays put. I don’t know that it is a poor design, because I don’t need an insole for heel pain eating up space in the toebox of my shoe. I’m actually using this on top of another full sized over-the-counter insole, and the combo does the trick for nerve pain on my heel pad.

Don’t last very long
I have plantar fasciitis so I purchased these inserts to try and help with my everyday activities, especially at work. At first they were very comfy, but I noticed after about a week or so most of the cushioning had worn down and they needed to be replaced. Also, these kind of hurt my arches a little, however that could just be the plantar fasciitis causing the pain. These are my second choice for inserts for my plantar fasciitis, the first being the Dr Scholl’s full foot inserts designed specifically for plantar fasciitis

They work
I started having heel pain when I started an execise regime, primarily walking. My doctor said it sounded like plantar fascitis and gave me some stretches, icing, etc. It wasn’t severe but it hurt and it was discouraging. I tried these and the pain is completely gone. I wear them in all my shoes. They are thin and fit in all my tennis shoes and casual shoes. I know I should use a new pair but the original pair from over a year ago is still working. I swap in a newer pair when I know I will be walking a lot, all day. Recommended!

I am really happy with these! So happy, I bought two more pairs! I have a lot of foot pain from a motorcycle accident last summer. Anything but the softest soles are almost unbearable to walk in. These insoles made my old sneakers wearable again!! Couldn’t be happier with them. A+++

Provided much needed support
I have a heal spur and plantar faucitis in the same foot. These have helped me tremendously!

Shoe inserts
I love these my feet have been comfortable all day. I’ve been having such bad heel pain. I love that these were not too wide so that they fit perfectly in my narrow shoe so far so good I am at work and I’ve been on my feet for two hours and they feel awesome. I definitely would buy these again. !

Was vey surprised they work
I have flat feet and I’m always looking for better inserts for my shoes. I work in the restaurant business and I’m on my feet all day.I started getting bad pain in my heels but couldn’t find anything that worked so I tried these they didn’t look like they would be very supportive but gave them a shot.Wow was very surprised that my heal pain went away. They are very cheep compared to many other brands.Give them a try cant hurt for this price.I would recommend this.
