Nice Dupe
This is definitely a dupe for Milk Makeup Hydrogrip but it is not as great. I do feel throughout the day my skin becomes oily with this and doesn’t look as great. I never have that concern with hydrogrip. I recommend for beginners or those with dry skin.

AMAZING
I absolutely love this this is one of my favorite parts of my make up routine. I’m literally almost out of it and I need to buy another one. It feels to moisturizing, and it keeps your make up on for for a very long time, I will most likely go buy another one and I didn’t know that these were in the store so I will most likely be going to the store to get it next time.

Amazing

Super sticky but I love it
This product goes on super sticky just like the commercial. So no surprise there. But it is a great base for your foundation and seems to help my makeup stay on throughout my work day. Also gives me a more youthful glow and appearance. I will def buy again.

It actually works!!
I kept seeing this product on TikTok. I really try not to get sucked in to those. However, this product is absolutely amazing. I put my makeup on at 5:30 am and it is still completely in tact when I go to take it off at night. Highly recommend!!!

This stuff is amazing! Best primer I’ve ever used.
Tried this for the first time today. I’ve always had trouble with my makeup staying on and looking fresh all day. I just used this for the first time. I did my makeup this morning, ran several errands and went to a festival in Atlanta where it was extremely hot and humid. I just got home and my makeup looks like I just did it. So impressed!

Like Putty Better Because Need Putty 😢
Maybe this is the wrong stuff for me. It doesn’t seem to do much for my imperfect face. My skin is not tighter. Lifted. Or brighter. Definitely not perfected pores. So is not the “filler”kind of primer.Keeps all the makeup applied on top of it set in place.That is all it is meant to do, I think.

This is AMAZING
I love this stuff. I apply all over after the elf primer putty. I use on my eyes too and before concealer. I am 62 and don’t have many wrinkles but my skin is not as elastic as it was and sometimes I can get a little creasing. But NOT WITH THIS. I must have this or I don’t put on my makeup. (And that never happens)! I don’t usually review makeup but I HAD to write this and hope they never stop making this.

This is a holy Grail primer!
It is sticky it is hydrating it will hold your makeup in place until the end of time if you let it and yet it is still incredibly easy to take off at the end of the day or the next morning if you forgot to take your makeup off the night before which I do a lot 😂I don’t necessarily use this on my whole entire face at least not every time I use it which makes it last a very long time and I like that a whole bunch.If you have insanely dry skin like I do and you still struggle with being able to keep your I don’t know eyeshadow on or the concealer under your eyes and also keeping that from creasing you’re going to want to pick this bad boy up.It is one of the best primers I have ever used and you can’t beat that price point I mean really! As a licensed cosmetologist and makeup artist I firmly stand behind this particular product as a fan freaking tastic choice for long wear makeup looks especially the more dramatic eye makeup looks.Allow me to go in depth a bit more; when I use this particular product and in this moment I am speaking for myself only not for my clients, I will most likely be applying it to my eyelids and around my nose and then over any particularly hard to cover spots like a healing pimple or red marks that appeared for no reason and I don’t know what they are 😂. After allowing it to sort of dry but just to the very sticky point I will then either apply to my eyelids in particular, a tinted eyelid primer prior to putting eyeshadow on or my personal preference we’re not going to fight about this because it’s not up for debate, I will just put a thin layer of concealer on top of that on my eyelids and then proceed to do eyeshadow. I’ve been experimenting and if I don’t use that primer prior to doing an eyeshadow look that eyeshadow look is gone within a matter of hours. However if I do use the power grip on my upper eyelids that eyeshadow look will literally last days if I forget to take my makeup off which isn’t uncommon don’t come at me man I am a very tired person.It works very well prior to putting concealer under and around my nose which is always angry because I have a drippy nose which means I’m constantly wiping it which turns it red and angry but using the elf power grip primer underneath my concealer has done wonders for concealing my Rudolph nose. it is also extremely helpful in succeeding and covering any facial scarring you may have from childhood acne or even adult acne!🌟So my dry skin friends who also wear makeup and struggle with dry skin, creasing and longevity of makeup look no further you have just found the product that you probably need I also have another product recommendation but I’m not putting that in here just check my reviews!🌟

Worth giving a try!
The reviews from people are a little mixed but I believe this product is worth trying. For reference I have dry/combo, sensitive, acne prone skin. This is probably the best drugstore primer I’ve ever used. I have to say that if you’re not into the sticky primers you are not going to like this. Also if you’re looking for a primer to make your pores smaller this is not designed to help with that. If my pores are a problem that day I simply go in on top of the elf only in my pore areas (my inner cheeks) with pore primer. This product does really help adhere my foundation. Many say that it makes their foundation blotchy but I believe it has to do with conflicting formulas between this primer and foundation. (water versus oil) Or simply that their skin does not like it! Also I have seen that it dries a lot of people out, I have decently dry skin and have never experienced that with this product. As long as you are well cleansed and moisturized before this it doesn’t seem to cause an issue for me.

PSA 🚨 MAKE SURE YOUR FOUNDATION IS WATER BASED!
Use only water based products for optimal results! Primers and foundation are either water based or silicone based. You will need to use only one or the other or they won’t work well together. It can cause your makeup to peel, separate or just look off.This ELF primer is GREAT! There is no better primer out there for the price. I used to use $60 YSL and Tacha but I stand by this being just as good if not better!! Try it and save you some bucks 🤑

Good griping primer
If u are looking for a primer that grips makeup and foundation this one is great. Very similar to the milk griping primer but more price friendly. Feels a bit sticky but that the point 😀. I have normal to dry skin and it workes well for me. The makeup stays in place for 10-12 hours in everyday activities (didn’t try it in a very humid environment). Note that after applying sunscreen you need wait for 10 minutes b4 applying the primer.In conclusion a good primer, very affordable and affective. I recommend.

I tried it, why not. I didn’t expect much at such a small price. It was exceeded my expectations. My makeup lasts all day now(never made it half a day before). I also love how smooth my skin feels and looks. Definitely worth the price and effort. I won’t go without it now.

I gave this primer a whirl when I decided to treat myself to all new makeup items. Very sticky which is great for staying power but your window to apply to all of your face is limited before it dries and becomes too sticky to spread out. Would still buy again.

Works great
I have super oily skin and cheaper foundation and it stays on all day, if you use the ELF hd powder after your setting spray at the end of you makeup it looks great too. Keeps my makeup on and looking great with Florida humidity and walking home, heavy rain, etc.
