Lightweight and soothing
I really like this as a very basic toner, so far it’s been great for helping me repair my irritated skin/damaged skin barrier after a bad reaction to another product. Would definitely recommend it for someone trying to pair down their routine and cut down on exposure to sensitizing ingredients in their skincare products.

Why does it smell like that?
I use mostly fragrance free products and wanted to try this product for that reason and the simple ingredient list. I have sensitive, dry and dehydrated skin. I like that this toner isn’t heavy, but the smell, it truly is atrocious. I was using a bliss toner before this which had a faint fresh scent. I expected something similar with this one, but I am not sure what ingredient causes it to smell awful. To me the scent is awful enough that even though it is faint, it completely puts me off using it. I would rather have them add some scent to mask whatever it is (I think that it might be the oat) that creates the current smell in the product.

okay so i got this thinking it’ll smooth my skin out since i have acne prone + sensitive skin. i have these annoying stubborn little bumps on the side of my face, i used this toner but not sure how long it takes. but did notice 4 red spots/dots on my face after using this … didn’t have them before and don’t know if this is causing it. the red dots feel like pimples coming in bc they hurt when put pressure onto them. not sure if i want to return this or keep using.. wanted to see if my skin is just “plurging” and it will clear out later on as i keep using this. i will update !update: i stopped using this bc it made my face feel weird , didn’t work for me !

Good Cleaning Power
The e.l.f. Pure Skin Toner is a great skin care product.It shipped well with minimal packaging. It emitted no weird odors or chemical-like smells.The bottle is stiff and the toner will need to be shaken out of the bottle. It has a screw-off and on the cap. The inside has a seal that has a hole in the middle. I like the style so I don’t accidentally use too much at a time. It comes out in drops and you only need a few to fill a cotton round for cleaning your face.It has no noticeable smell. It goes on easily and washes the skin on the face quite well. It doesn’t dry the skin out which is great. I like the cleaning power it has.Recommended.

Love it!
I’ve now used the whole bottle! I used this every morning. It made me feel refreshed and did provide some moisture to my skin. I didn’t notice any positive changes in my skin necessarily, but it certainly didn’t cause any breakouts or anything else to my skin. I would definitely use this again. It doesn’t have that “Elf” smell that some of their products tend to have.

I don’t know how this is exfoliating, but it IS nice
This is a nice no-nonsense toner. I already spend enough on serums and lotions so it’s nice to have something that’s more basic and dependable like this. It dispenses easily without any bizarre clogging pumps, it’s easy to apply, and it doesn’t have any scent or ingredients that sting. This definitely makes my skin feel moisturized and supple without tingling or making my already sensitive skin upset.I just switched from a fancy k-beauty toner to this and I’m very happy with it.

affordable and effective
I really enjoy e.l.f. products because they are super affordable but are also made well and work great. This toner was no different. I loved trying it about and it was great on my skin. I like to use this at night after washing my face as well as in the morning and it does not dry out my skin at all, instead it exfoliates to even out skin and subtly moisturizes. It’s also pretty great at cleaning leftover makeup that cleansers don’t remove.

This Skin Toner is nice. I used it last night and this morning. It makes my skin feel great.The container is 5.7 ounces. It has a screw-on top and a hole to release the toner. On the back of the container are a section that tells what this product does and a section on how to use it. The smell is not overpowering.I will be recommending this Skin Toner to family and friends.

Nice toner
I found the e.l.f. Pure Skin Daily Toner to be a nice addition to my beauty routine. I always use a toner right after my shower to keep my pores small. It has proven to be a lifesaver in keeping my skin smooth and fresh.The reason for my 3-star rating is that while the toner did do its job, getting the product from the bottle to a cotton round was rather difficult. The hole that dispenses the product did seem to release it. I found myself touching the cotton to see if any toner had been expelled. Upon closer examination, I saw that when the toner did come out of the bottle it was in very small drops and I had to squeeze the bottle in order for that to happen.While I did find that the product does work, it is difficult and rather frustrating to coax the product out of its container. I have used similar items with similar results that did not take a quarter of the effort to use. I feel this would be great when traveling, as I think the probability of the item dispensing all over your luggage would be low. For everyday use, it’s a no-go for me.

This skin toner from e.l.f brand comes in a basic bottles that contains of 5.07 fl. Oz. of product. I think the price is really good compared to the quality of the product and it’s a good option for people with sensitive skin. This face toner is made of very good ingredients that works very well on sensitive skin. It’s very gentle and I haven’t experienced any irritation.

I normally use witch hazel for my toner (among other things) and found this toner to just be okay. I think it is gentle, and played nice with my sensitive/combo skin. But it really didn’t do anything for it either. I didn’t like the bottle, I felt that I was wasting a lot of product while dispensing. Once the bottle is empty I won’t be repurchasing (been about 7 months of use, once a day).

This is a nice toner and a good addition to my skincare routine. I love how gentle it is. It feels nice as I apply it with a cotton round and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dried out. A MIRACLE ON MY DRY, SENSITIVE SKIN : PIGMENTATION & SMOOTHING, LESS ON MOISTURIZING
I’ve had great success with E.L.F.’s incredibly affordable cosmetics, but this is my first experience with their skincare line. My new obsession with Glycolic Acid products brought me to this dermatologist-developed toner with oat milk, aloe juice and niacinamide. I’ve got all kinds of skin lightening and G.A. products, but I’ve never had one work as fast as this toner. Here’s the scoop:FRAGRANCE-FREE, VEGAN, CRUELTY-FREE, NO SULFATES/PHTHALATES/PARABENSFOR ALL SKIN TYPES and SENSITIVE SKINKEY INGREDIENTS: Aloe Vera, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Trehalose (a sugar antioxidant/moisturizer), Ceramides, Glycolic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, ChamomileThat means moisturizing, skin renewal resurfacing, rehydration and skin plumping with 2 skin soothing ingredients to counteract possible irritation. Sounds good to me.RESULTS: A patch test on my hand INSTANTLY (I mean INSTANTLY) almost completely vanished 3 small, light caramel colored sun spots that I haven’t been able to fully remove for a year. I have tons of skin lightening and other G.A. products, and none have acted that fast on pigmentation. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. For now, I just patch tested my nose and one side of my face. I got a slight sensation of irritation, but no redness or serious irritation and I have very sensitive skin. That was a concern for me because the buy page photo doesn’t show the warning that comes on the actual bottle to stop using if signs of irritation. So far, so good for me.The G.A. is working well and leaves very smooth, resurfaced, renewed skin, but not so much for the moisturizing element. That’s just me because of my super dry skin and the heat wave and low humidity have made it worse. I swear I crackle when I walk right now. So, don’t let me be your guide on whether it will moisturize your skin because the ceramides and hyaluronic acid in the top ingredients indicate that it should.I’m otherwise very happy with this product and have high hopes for cumulative effects of continued use. My original, first patch test was a failure because I hadn’t thoroughly cleansed residue from another product that caused a severe cross-reaction. That was my fault, not the product, and it didn’t happen with my current re-testing. [Note: To prevent any cross-reaction, don’t use this G.A. product with other products that have retinol or Vitamin C to prevent a reaction. That caution is true for any G.A. product. It doesn’t play well with others.]Based on this toner, I’d like to try more of the Pure Skin line if there are other products. For once, a dermatologist developed skincare product is reliable, and at a very affordable price. I seriously predict way above-average results on pigmentation issues and the smoothing claims. Other reviewers will have to address the moisturizing element. What a sweet surprise this product was, and I’d use it for the incredible pigmentation results alone, aside from all the other perks.

e.l.f. Toner
The bottle isn’t soft or squeezable, so, the toner has to be shaken out of the bottle. It comes out of the whole in the top fairly easily in big drops. I can tell that they’re moisturizing because they sit on a cotton pad for an extra second before being absorbed. It seems to be cleansing. Whenever I use it, I can see the dirt on the pad. I like to use it after using a cleanser or before bed or if I feel hot and sweaty. It doesn’t have a smell that I’ve noticed. It’s not drying. I haven’t experienced any side effects from using it.

Non-Irritating, No Visible Results
My wife used the e.l.f. skin toner several times and found it to be gentle and non-irritating. But she didn’t notice any improvement in her skin (not smoother, healthier looking). Often times when you use a skin toner, the application cotton pad gets a little color, but not so with this product. This one has no obvious scent. She likes the sturdy bottle.

What does toner actually do anyway? Anyone know? I know that this makes my skin feel nicer after exfoliating. It’s not astringent or drying at all. Scent is mild and nice. It lasts quite a while. I haven’t noticed any lasting effects on my skin really.

I really wanted to like this product as I had heard great reviews and the price was great. I used it on my face and it got hot and red very fast! I didn’t want to take a pic of my face which was awful but here is a pic of the product that dripped down my arm! Would not recommend. Do not buy if you’ve got sensitive skin!

Poor Dispersal
To use this toner, you basically have to turn the bottle upside down and shake a little. This is not so bad when you are using your hands to apply, however, if you want to use a cotton pad it takes a while to get it wet enough to be of much use. I have a cold right now so I did not notice any scent.This is by far the most gentle toner I have used to-date. Most toners really irritate and dry my skin, but this one did not. I did have slight irritation in a problem area, but that subsided after using an e.l.f. moisturizer.e.l.f. products are very affordable and they compliment each other. Had there been a better method of dispersal I would likely have given five stars.

The ingredients in this E.L.F. toner appealed to me, as my skin seems to agree with aloe and niacinamide. The addition of oat milk, which is very soothing, also helps to calm down any redness and irritation in my skin. You can use it as a western toner and dispense it onto a cotton pad and swipe it across your skin, or you can dispense it into your palm and apply it to your freshly cleansed skin as an Asian beauty toner/essence. Great value for a good sensitive toner – 5 oz bottle
This is a good toner that doesn’t dry my skin out. I have combination skin with hormonal acne flare ups but I don’t always want the super drying witch hazel, highly scented toner that many others are like. This one doesn’t dry out my skin, which is good for my dry areas and it is not scented which is good as well.You do get a 5 oz bottle, as shown in the photos, not a 6 oz like the heading says. But it is still a great sized bottle for the price. The bottle has just a hole that keeps the toner in, unless you squeeze the stiff bottle to get it out. Usually I just turn the bottle upside down and shake. It does take quite a few shakes to get enough on a cotton pad. I wish the bottle was different and it was easier to get the liquid out of but nice that it won’t spill if tipped over.

Pure Skin Toner“ is a nice toner that prepares your skin very well for moisturizer after you’ve cleansed it.I’m very impressed with all e.l.f. products I’ve used and this one certainly doesn’t disappoint. I use this in my daily skincare routine and my skin definitely feels great when I use this after cleansing my skin. Nice Gentle Toner at a Good Value
I’ve been looking for a gentle toner that soothes and nourishes the skin without leaving my skin feeling like it’s been soaked in oil. I have combination skin, which is dry around the checks and chin, and oily on the t-zone. This toner from e.l.f. Cosmetics works well for me.This toner is super light as it feels just like water and it has no smell. As a person that doesn’t like strong scented facial products, this is great. It’s fast absorbing and feels very refreshing. It doesn’t irritate my skin like other toners. My skin feels and looks healthier and moisturized.For 150 ml at $12, it’s reasonably priced. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a gentle toner.

Nice toner
I’ve been enjoying this toner. I’ve used elf products in the past and I am a fan. Their skin care hasn’t been something I’ve used in the past but i was interested in this since it had ceramides and my skin has been reacting well to a ceramide serum I’ve been using. This toner doesn’t leave my combination skin sticky and I have had no acne or other reactions to it. Huge size will last forever no noticeable scent in my opinion.

i use toner at night after washing my face as an extra “clean” feeling before bed. i havent used this brand before so i decided to give it a try. the bottle is thicker material and the cap is a screw on cap. there is a small round opening on the spout which i found a little challenging compared to my usual product when it came to using it. i felt that it worked ok on my skin which is sensitive and i am always apprehensive about introducing new brands of facial cleansers/creams. the price is average for this product. i would recommend.

I’m a huge fan of e.l.f. and this doesn’t disappoint! I use this toner after I take off my makeup and it helps me feel like my face is super clean. I notice that it doesn’t dry out my face like other toners that I have used in the past. It doesn’t have a medicinal scent like those either, rather just has a nice clean scent that’s not overwhelming. 5/5 would recommend!

hydrating
This is a very hydrating toner. I don’t always apply with a cotton round, mostly just my hands so I’m not sure how exfoliating this is. But it is a really great base for a morning regimen. This is best to use before adding any serums or creams. It absorbs quickly and you may not need any other moisturizing products with this. It pairs well with ELF primer.

Gentle non-drying toner
I was excited to try the e.l.f skin care line. I used to use the cosmetics back in the day and still use the makeup brushes now. This toner is unscented. It was gentle on my skin and didn’t cause any burning sensation. It did leave my face feeling slightly tacky so I will only use this at night since I want a fresh & clean feeling face during the daytime. I do like the packaging, it looks sleek and matches the facial cleanser.

An everyday toner for most people
This toner works as advertised. Sensitive skin might test it first. I felt it stripped too many oils out. Still a decent buy if you use only in really oily areas.

Packaging needs work
I am in my late 40’s with dry, sensitive skin.This came without any safety seals which made me nervous.The toner itself is quite nice. I was surprised every time I used it that it seems to be entirely fragrance free, and that it always picked up just a little more grime than the cleanser removed. I didn’t find it particularly moisturizing, in fact it felt slightly drying to my already dry skin. I didn’t have any negative reactions: no redness, peeling, breakouts, etc.The thing I really don’t like is the container. It has a twist off lid which is nice, but the hole in the bottle is so small that the toner just will not come out. And the bottle is hard plastic so it can’t really be squeezed.

Annoying bottle
Great toner, for awhile I’ve had alot of exfoliating toners that were just a bit too harsh in combination with my skin care routine. Sometimes thru would sting or make my skin red. This one is gentle and doesn’t irriate my skin at all. The one thing I didn’t like was that it’s hard to dispense.

Toner sets the skin
The package came a little damage so it started to leak. I used a cotton pad and with this toner I left it under my eyes and the toner helped soothe out my skin and it looks balanced. Texture is light so its wonderful.

Amazing product!
Hands down this ELF toner is one of the best toners I’ve ever used. It’s clean and very gentle on sensitive skin but great at removing dirt, makeup and de-clogging pores. Has a beautiful light scent and very moisturizing on the skin. Super cheap and great value for the money. Easily better than the high priced toners, will be re-purchasing and re-using as it’s giving my skin great results. No redness or irritation after using. Do not skip out on this one!
