The directions really warn you to take it easy until you figure out how it works with your oven. They suggest starting with 2 1/2 to 3 minutes of oven time to start off with. I have a 1050 watt oven. So I started with 2 1/2 minutes and it barely popped all the corn kernels. Over time, adding 15 seconds per try. I got up to 4 3/4 minutes and still have un-popped kernels left. So I went up to a full 5 minutes. On that try some of the plastic on the bottom melted a tiny bit. I’ve been sticking with 4 3/4 minutes, using a little less butter, and I end up with most of the kernels popped. It only uses a smidge less than 2 Tbs of kernels and makes a perfect single-sized portion. It’s easy to clean. Easy to use once you figure your timing out.*Update* I’ve had this corn popper for several weeks now and I use it daily and I love it! I still have few un-popped kernels leftover.****2nd Update**** After using this for several weeks or even a month, I could never get all of the kernels of corn to pop. On my last attempt every kernel did pop, but the bottom on the Popper melted to the bottom of my microwave oven. I’m done with this and will go back to using the stovetop to pop my corn. I don’t recommend this product.

Me and my family love popcorn. Especially fresh popcorn. This works really well , it doesn’t pop some kernels, but that’s ok. It’s easy to clean with soapy hot water. Definitely recommend !

Fast and fun!
My brother actually told me about this, as he purchased it a while back. I love popcorn, but had yet to find a good popcorn popper until I got this one. It is so simple, and the popcorn tastes delicious as is. It’s also ready in less than 2 and 1/2 minutes! I am so happy I got this. You will be too.

Delectable Popcorn
So easy to use.I melt butter and caramel if I want to put it on the popcorn after it is popped in the microwave in this fablulous pot. No burned popcorn. I also pour chocolate syrup on top sometimes. It is wonderful . You can eat it any way you want. So easy.

Great once you get the hang of it!
This has made making healthier popcorn so much easier! Since we are popcorn lovers, it’s been a great addition to our kitchen. Granted, it did take a LOT of experimenting to get the right balance, with the right popcorn (Snappy White has been best so far), amounts, and then with the microwave. I’ve burnt my popcorn a few times, but I wonder if it’s my microwave. For mine, you have to place the bowl on the outer edge of the spinning plate, NOT in the center for optimal popping. I still have to microwave for at least 5 minutes (I do double servings in each batch or else it’s not enough for us). If you have the patience to try it out, you’ll find what works and it’s great! Super easy to clean too.

Impressed
I saw it on tiktok lol but when I saw the price I figured I’d try it and I actually love it. Easy to measure, hardly any unpopped kernels. It does get quite hot so make sure you have a trivet on hand and let it cool before putting in the sink or dishwasher. Use cold butter from the fridge. It is a bit tricky to clean the butter off the lid but I’ve only washed it by hand since I’ve used it every night since I got it. My only complaint is it’s not a big enough serving for us real popcorn lovers, I might have to buy the big one just for myself lol

It really does make popping corn simple
Prior to getting this, I had been using a ceramic bowl with a plate inverted over top as a lid to pop corn. That method works, but it’s inelegant, clunky, and error-prone. You can’t see what’s happening in the bowl; you have to go by sound, and that can be misleading. With this popper, you get the simplicity of a glass bowl rounded to a perfect shape, the safety of a handle to remove the popper from the oven with, and the easy cleanup of a nice, wide opening. It’s well worth its modest price to enjoy a bowl of guess-free popcorn.

My brother gave me the small version of this popcorn popper for the microwave. My son and I loved it so much and often popped double batches for us. My son just left for college and I sent him with the small one. So, I ordered the family size to have here at the house. This is a fantastic product. I gave up microwave, popcorn, and a bag because the chemicals involved in the product are harmful. This is 100 times better!

Butter will burn if added at start, but..
Ive taken to adding a little peanut oil and salt to popcorn (just enough to get the salt to stick) and shaking before popping. Makes it similar to pan popped.. butter gets to hot and burns..but is great added after.. try the oil trick though..Fairly easy to use.. definately top in microwave popcorn.

Economical popcorn & yummy
This popcorn maker for the microwave is great. It took a little trial and error to get the timing for my microwave right, but now that I have, it’s a breeze to make fresh healthy popcorn any time – takes 2 minutes, literally. Besides the perfect function, I like the retro look of it. I have all red accessories in my kitchen, so that this was available in red wads a bonus for me. I’d have bought it in another color if they didn’t offer red. The design is clever the handle is never hot, so you can grab it with you bare hand when ready – no scuffling for a mitt or potholder.

Works well and easy to use
The directions are easy to follow, basically put the kernels in, place on the microwave and start. I have a 1200 W microwave and the popcorn button equates to 3.5 minutes. About 20 seconds from the end it had pretty much stopped popping so I almost hit stop. But because of some of the reviews I read, I was curious if the automated time was too long. The popcorn did not burn but a few pieces were scorched so you’ll want to pay attention the first time or two. The popcorn was good, I did not add butter….counting calories….and nearly all the kernels popped. A nice serving amount for one person. It’s cute and I like the blue color. As stated the plastic is attached to the glass but I didn’t think cleaning to be a problem. I like it, it came quickly and was well packaged.

Easy to Use, Clean
This popcorn maker is very easy to use, it’s a bit bulky as to be expected so having a storage place is a must. But it’s less to store than a full size popcorn maker. 3 minutes and I have popcorn. I recommend using fresh corn to pop, if it’s older it will only pop about half. I’ve had the most luck with one lid full of popcorn (even though it says two can be popped) but my popcorn is on the older side so I’m thinking that’s user error. I love that I don’t have overly oily/salty popcorn and I get a quick snack. It’s also so cheerful in color (yellow), just makes me happy every time I get to make popcorn. Would absolutely recommend if popcorn is your favorite snack. It can also save you money, by the time I added up the cost of how many bags I would have eaten since purchasing this well it definitely has saved me money anyway (I eat a lot of popcorn). As a tip, if you’re not using oil, then use coarse sea salt if you want a bit of a salty kick. It sticks better to the nooks and crannies of the popcorn over table salt. Most of it will still end up in the bottom but then just treat the salt like a popcorn dip.

Looks funky, works great.
Works really well in any microwave oven, but it looks kind of like a coffee carafe with weird color frame… but it does a great job with microwave heated popcorn.Instructions were a bit odd, as there are opinions, but not specific directions on how to use the device. Did I mention it looks weird? I think Lucille Ball may have had one of these on the Lucy show…

Works great and dishwasher safe!
I use this thing all the time. While it definitely doesn’t have the largest capacity, it makes just enough for a single serving. 8/10 because the top is a little difficult to clean.Biggest thing I’ve learned is that it works best (and takes less time) if you don’t put butter/oil in while popping. The instructions state that it is an option, but I’ve found that the popcorn pops quickest without it and the butter tends to scorch and ruin the popcorn if microwaved together.

Elevate Your Popcorn Experience – Ecolution Micro-Pop Microwave Popcorn Popper
As a popcorn aficionado, I’ve tried various methods of making homemade popcorn. The Ecolution Patented Micro-Pop Microwave Popcorn Popper has quickly become my go-to for a quick, healthy, and delicious snack. The first thing that stands out about this popcorn popper is its borosilicate glass construction. Not only does it make for an impressive looking kitchen gadget, but it also ensures durability and temperature safety. Watching the popcorn pop through the clear glass is quite the spectacle, adding a fun element to the process.Making popcorn with this popper is a breeze. You don’t need oil or butter; the hot air circulation prevents burning and pops almost every kernel. If you’re a fan of buttery popcorn, the dual-function lid allows you to melt butter while the popcorn pops. It’s a well-thought-out design that makes gourmet popcorn easy. The popper is also dishwasher safe, which makes clean-up a snap. This is a huge plus for me, as it saves time and effort after enjoying a movie night or game day snack. One of the best aspects of this popper is the ability to control what goes into your popcorn. You can make a healthier alternative to prepackaged popcorn bags that often contain unwanted chemicals and ingredients. Plus, it’s a cost-effective option in the long run.The glass construction is advantageous for more than just aesthetics. It doesn’t absorb acids or chemicals, resists wear-and-tear, and is made without BPA, making it a safer choice for consistent use. The wide-mouth design and ergonomic handle add to its ease-of-use and versatility.

Wonderful!
I saw this product on the “Freakin’ Reviews” Youtube channel (seriously this guy is amazing and reviews everything!) and decided to try it out. Originally I was going to go with the Stir Crazy popper, but when I saw this, I loved the fact that it is glass and can go in the microwave. I bought the smaller size, which I’m glad, because I think the bigger size would have been too much for one person. It works just as advertised, but you do need to test the timing on the microwave. My first batch was burned because of user error. I had it set for three minutes, and it started popping a little past the one minute mark. Two minutes was really all it took, so my second batch was even better. The first batch was good, despite the burned popcorn. It’s a learning process! What I found was that if I put the popper in the microwave and then listen very closely for it to start to pop. Then add more time, but still pay attention and just stop the microwave all together when the popping slows. I found that there weren’t that many unpopped kernels. The top cover has a vent where you can put butter. I used it sparingly and didn’t have any problems with it, but I couldn’t really taste it that much. From now on, I think I’m going to melt some butter separately and then pour it on while it’s hot. I also used some garlic popcorn flavoring which made it really good.I think this popper is dishwasher safe, but I’m not entirely sure. I just washed it out with soap and water and let it air dry and it seems to be just fine.I’m so glad I chose this popcorn popper! It’s great for snacks! I love it!

Perfect for one person.
In my 70’s I have always been old school making popcorn. I even have a vintage heavy 3 quart I used just for popcorn, actually a heavy aluminum Wagner Magnalite with a wood handle that has to be hand washed. A while back I stopped making popcorn. I always used popcorn oil and added in real butter and popped it on the stove. The popcorn was always great and yummy but cleaning the heavy pan was a chore as the butter and oil would make a sticky coating on the lid and the inside of the pan. I just didn’t like the cleanup and on occasion I would burn the popcorn which made the cleanup even worse to the point of using an sos pad. I never bothered with the air poppers and all those kind because they just took up too much room to store and most are all hand wash too. I stumbled across this popper on a reaction channel. I have a small 700 watt microwave that I rarely use and thought I would give it a try. I have found that adding popcorn oil, some real butter and a bit of popcorn salt into the popper and popping it into the microwave for about 30 seconds heats it all up nicely. Then adding my popcorn to pop. The time for my 700 watt is 3 minutes after a few fails in timing. Of course a big microwave will be much less than that and especially using the small popper. I found the taste to be the same as popping on the stove but so much easier and faster. I have a countertop dishwasher and I find that the popper gets much cleaner in the washer than doing it by hand. I noticed there would be water in between the glass and the outer plastic that just wouldn’t dry and seemed to be discoloring it. Once I started using the washer there was no more water build up and seemed to be cleaner between the glass and plastic. I would recommend using a dishwasher for those having any concerns about this buildup between the glass and plastic. It does in fact make a huge difference and much better than hand washing. Anyway that aside, I now make popcorn no less than twice a week and I just love this popper.

Smaller than I thought. Makes enough for 1 serving. Wish I had gotten the larger one.As for how it works… I only used it once thus far.I used 2 pats of butter but that was not enough.Only about 3/4 of the kernels popped. Will try it again and let you all know.

Great addition
For my son’s graduation, I decked out his game room with creature comfort’s – a mini fridge, surround system, blackout curtains, and a microwave. Surprisingly so, my son turned his nose up to the microwave. I was floored. What kid wouldn’t want a microwave? I needed to rectify this somehow, so I went searching Amazon. Once I found this popcorn popper, I knew I had found the solution to my problem, so I immediately bought it. I tested it out and was pleasantly surprised I didn’t burn the popcorn and had fewer kernels than I normally would with microwave popcorn. Later that night I made a batch for my son to see how he’d like it, only this time, I added butter. I personally couldn’t taste the butter but it helped stick the popcorn seasoning we used, cheesy jalapeño, which was absolutely amazing! After that, he was sold on the microwave. It’s easy to clean, I prefer to hand wash it, and it makes just the right amount of popcorn for one or two people. I no longer waste popcorn, I can make how much I want, when I want it.

Don’t cook with butter.
I love popcorn, but hate pulling out the air popper and my movie theater popper is too fattening for frequent use. This is great for an impromptu treat. However if I add a little butter to the top as instructions state the center burns. I also tried coconut oil mixed with popcorn salt but that burned too. But for popping it’s pretty great. If you want butter, just add it after as you would with an air popper.

Perfect for popcorn lovers!
I love popcorn and was constantly buying already popped and flavored popcorn at the store. I’m an eco conscious person and wanted to cut down on the waste of this practice and control the quality of ingredients used. Originally, I was looking for an electric popper when I came across this and decided to try it. It was love at first pop! It’s so easy and the single serving size is perfect.A few things to consider: The top that helps to measure out the kernels is a little tricky. Don’t fill under the fill line, bit slightly over it to where you can still see it. Remember that making any food is a science that can be affected by a number of factors. For popcorn, it can be anything from the kernels used to the microwave or even where you live. I suggest experimenting and definitely take the instructions that come with this into account.

Great concept, but a bit flawed
The concept for this item is good, but the follow-through isn’t. I’ve tried several different cooking times, with and without butter…the popcorn burns every single time. It is currently in my pantry collecting dust.

My new best friend!
My sister wanted this for Christmas last year. She is not a popcorn connoisseur like me and my mom. So, she gave the popcorn popper to my mom. She absolutely loves it. She asked me to write a review about how much she loves it and how well it pops popcorn. Meanwhile, I’ve been using an old microwave popcorn popper that’s adequate but I was intrigued by this popper mom loves so much. I bought one and the hype is true.First, I love the size. It makes more than enough for one person but not too much. Second, it popped every single kernel of corn. I’ve never seen that before, not even in microwave bags. Thirdly, and the best thing, the butter melter. I can now have real butter on my popcorn. Remember to use fresh popcorn. Old kernels won’t pop or taste so good. I’m really happy when things work as intended and this popper does it all.

I like this
I have used this for few times now. The reviews are true that it is easy to burn the popcorn IF you don’t follow the directions. I used the correct amount of popcorn and then watch the microwave closely to catch it just when it is done. I love the single serve size.

No Downside.
This device makes popcorn that is not only healthier than the bagged stuff that you get from the grocery store, but in the long run, more economical over the long run. Just compare the cost of the two types of popcorn in the grocery store.

So easy to use.
I love this thing! Actually it’s my 2nd one because I gave my first one away so my friend could enjoy it as much as me. So when I order one for another friend I got me one too. It’s got to be healthier than buying prepackaged popcorn, provided you don’t just smother it with butter. It’s so easy to use and clean up. I will say though that I bought some probably cheap popcorn my second go around and it didn’t pop as well. So don’t skimp on the popcorn you use. But that doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with this product. It just takes longer for it to start popping and then it might burn, just like it would on a stove top.

Bought several – great product
I bought 3 of these. They work really well in popping all the kernels and the butter can be melted on the top while the kernels are popping. No more nasty chemical tasting microwave popcorn for us. This is really easy to use in the microwave – just get a jar of kernels. I have been using Snappy brand. Also Lil Lads popcorn seasoning is awesome on the freshly popped popcorn!

Should have gotten the smaller one
Worked well enough and easy to clean except the large didn’t fit my microwave. I removed the carousel plate and then it fit but didn’t rotate. Because of this, there were many unpopped kernels. I even removed and shook them at the midpoint. So, I recommend checking the dimensions before purchasing.

Perfect size for one!
I live in a small apartment so I don’t have much cabinet space and I also don’t need popcorn for multiple people so this was the perfect thing for me. It makes the perfect amount for one person. The option to be able to add butter via the lid that will melt as it pops is great. There are very few kernels that remain unpopped when timed correctly. I stand at the microwave and listen for the popping to slow as you would for any microwave popcorn. You’ll have a great snack in seconds and it’s dishwasher safe, perfect!

Love this thing!!
I saw this in a store but really didn’t think it would work till I read the reviews. I love popcorn but making it in a pan seems to make the pan hard to clean. I wasn’t convinced I wanted another electronic device on my counter, so I got this with the promise that I didn’t need oil or butter. So very simple and quick and it pops most of the kernals. It works! A little soap and water and it cleans right up. It’s good in the dishwasher but I don’t want to wait. : )

Works great. But need to experiment for ways to make the perfect batch! Microwaves can vary and so can your source corn. Great idea
Fabulous, but two concerns:1st – The weakest point of construction is the top of the handle. Since this area takes the most pressure when hand washing, I’m counting the uses before this critical feature breaks.2nd is only a concern for those trying to make twoservings” – It gets super hot and you need to wait for it to cool before reusing.

a nice popper
I really enjoy this popper! Washing it makes me a little nervous, because water stays between the glass and plastic which seems like a breeding ground for bacteria and mold (though nothing visibly gross has happened there for me yet). But once it’s all dry and I throw it into the microwave, it pops my popcorn beautifully. In my microwave it takes about 3 minutes and 45 seconds (which is longer than expected, but that’s how long it took ’til I had the 2 seconds between pops – and they didn’t burn). There’s been a layer of unpopped kernels at the bottom, but I think that has more to do with the brand of kernels I bought than the popper itself. And the butter melting at the top works as expected. It’s a little annoying that you either have to wait for the popper to cool down so you can eat out of it, or dump your popcorn into another bowl. Overall though, this popper is working well for me and I’m enjoying the popcorn it’s making 🙂

My new favorite popcorn popper.
I ordered this because I wanted something to make popcorn in that was quick and easy. I also had seen this particular popcorn popper on another site. I decided to order it and I am so glad that I did. It is so easy to use, just fill the lid on top to the line with popcorn kernels, drop the kernels into the container and add your butter on the top and heat in the microwave. Perfect popcorn. I had very few unpopped kernels at the bottom and by adding the butter to the top it was perfectly coated with the butter. None of my popcorn was soggy from the butter. The small popcorn popper is perfect for one person. I highly recommend this popper.
