One treatment
She stopped scratching and feather picking and is resting calmly now without to much trouble. I plan on treating her again in a couple days. This is used on a WF pearl cockatiel who has bad feather plucking due to genetically dry itchy skin. Poor birdie.

Best product
I recently left a review that was meant for a different product and it was a negative review. It was not meant for this product. Let me make very clear this product came in on time actually not on time but early. Not only did it come in early the product is absolutely amazing and makes my birds feathers look absolutely stunning. I’ve never found a product in all of the years that I have been breeding that makes my birds look as gorgeous as they do when I use this product. I will definitely be ordering another bottle.

Hard to use
This product has a lot of alcohol in it. So you have to avoid eyes and beak and I find it really difficult to soak my bird through without him looking at me and getting it on his face.

My birds LOVE it
My birds are uncaged (I have society and zebra finches and one older canary), and pretty much do as they please. I haven’t sought to “tame” them, they fly free, so its doubly obvious they love this stuff because they line up to get sprayed with it. My canary, Yellowbeard, is plagued with dry skin- he’s also shy, keeps to himself and he hops right up to me and lifts his wings to receive his “shower.” This alleviates his dry skin.By the way, there’s a short, but pithy, informal kindle book about a wide variety of birds, rehabilitating injured birds, how different species interact (and even form pair bonds), how to keep uncaged birds, things they love to do, fun activities, how to create an enriched environment for them, etc. It’s packed with tips for keeping happy birds (example: put up a ceiling fan- not hooked to electricity, though! My birds spend HOURS playing on it, like a merry-go-round- even the tiniest bird can get it going):
My Life with Birds, or, How To Make Birds Very Happy, 2nd Ed.
The Feather Glo spray would be great addition to this book. It’s worth every penny!

It Helped My Bird’s Problem
I bought this product to help stop my Blue Crown Conure from plucking; he’d just started. I suppose something had stressed him out when I was on vacation or separation anxiety or something though there was a reliable pet sitter.. Using the product for a short time seemed to help. He’d started plucking under a wing and all the feathers grew back. Although I can’t be 100% certain, I think this product help. I think starting as soon as you notice an issue is also paramount. I also used it on my other two birds to help with their grooming. Though I’d make sure they are in a warm place when using it, I believe it’s a good product.

It works
The lighting is different, but you can see the difference. I just got my bird a week ago. She was DIRTY. Every time she would fluff her feathers, she looked like Pig Pen from Charlie Brown. The spray smells bad, it’ll go away. The smell made her not like it, but with enough praise, she let me end up spraying most of her. The difference is like night and day. Super happy with this

I don’t like the smell and my cockatiel doesn’t like it period, but my bird is picky.
I personally don’t like the way it smells but I stand it because I figure it’s mimicking the Animal produced glands… so it’s not supposed to smell great, right? Ok, but then my Cockatiel hates it. I was expecting her to open her wings and move her head all around in enjoyment… no! As soon as she sees me reaching for the bottle she flies away. If I happen to surprise her and spray her she flies away and then doesn’t let me get her from wherever she perches on, like the head rail of the window blinds. I’ll grab a chair to step on and then offer her to step on my finger, and to let me know she didn’t appreciate me spraying her she hisses and acts like she’s going to bite my finger. She gets over it after about five minutes.Having said that, i don’t want to discourage someone from buying this product. When I was spraying her with water, she would only stand about 2-3 sprays. After that she would fly off or pretend she was going to take off so I would stop. I may have a little Cockatiel diva on my hands. I would really love to see someone post a video review of their bird really enjoying this spray. That would be so cool.

Great product
Since he was picking his feathers under his neck, I don’t spray on his neck area. But my Grey’s feathers on his back are so much more glowing and prettier. He isn’t dull in his Grey color anymore, I give him a good water misting and then spray the Feather Grow on him. Just don’t put on any of his skin showing (do you picking). The alcohol in the ingredients may make my Grey burn.

Helps a lot
I have a red-bellie parrot who goes through some hellish molt episodes every year. This spray helps her tender, itchy skin. The smell is negligible.

Great Stuff!
I love Feather Glow Spray, to save just a little bit of money. Which of course I am completely satisfied with. I use this on my Yellow Naped Amazon between his once a week showers.Sometimes when it is really cold outside we will skip the weekly bath/ shower and use this a couple of times a week instead. We live in the desert, and this stuff really seems to help keep him from scratching and picking at himself so much. Overall I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase. Great quality for the price
I have a Quaker parrot that has a problem with plucking her feathers out. I purchased this in hopes that it would make her stop. I have used it for 2 weeks now and have seen a difference. Her feathers and growing back, and she doesn’t pick as much. This is the only product that has seemed to help, and is also safe to use . I will be continuing to purchase and use this product.

This is DISGUSTING!
Product arrived wet, as if it has been spilled. I tried spraying it on my bird but the spray didn’t work, so I opened the product and there was this nasty, disgusting gunk all over the tube! And it smelled HORRIBLY, as if it was expired or something. I poured all the liquid to see what is it and I took pictures so you can see for yourself, it looks like poo or fungi. Definitely not spraying this on my bird!

Since I don’t like to use any sprays unless I detect a problem, I would like to wait till warmer weather to do any spraying on the parakeets to avoid getting them chilled.
