5.0 out of 5 stars
Great Monster Digger
This is a very impressive machine, large and noisy and will be every little boys delight. According to the instructions this vehicle can ride on all kinds of terrain. The battery is rechargeable, which is great. Good Birthday or Christmas Gift and definitely an outdoor toy. Not use if it would work in snow, but it is worth a try.

Smaller than I expected.
I’m not that into monster trucks, but even I’ve heard of The Grave Digger, and this is the official Monster Jam model, so I guess that’s why it’s so expensive – official merchandise is never cheap. This is a bit of a disappointment – it looks sturdy enough but the decals are paper and I don’t think they’ll take much wear and tear, particularly if you drive it through water as it says you can! The truck also feels a bit lightweight which will, I think, cause stability issues. It’s a bit of fun, but slightly expensive fun at £74.99 (as at 29 June 2023). The listing says this is suitable for 4+, I’m not sure I agree with that – I’d say it’s a bit difficult for a 4 year old to manage, I’d say 7+ is more appropriate, and even then I think I’d want them to be supervised as once the speed gets up it might be difficult to control. If I were seven years old I’d absolutely love this, but as the purchaser of this for a seven year old I’d be thinking it should be a bit ‘more’. Good but not great.

Very high price
Let me start by saying at the time i received the monster truck, the price was unreasonable (in excess of £150) that was no were near the price this toy should have been, but the price has now come right down and more affordable. The truck its self is great fun, well packed and easy for my 7yo to use.Batteries seam to last a long time, adding to the value of the fun to be had.Great truck for the kids, now at a more reasonable price.

its funny…
fun toy, and the quality is ok. At the time of order it was priced at £159. I would have questioned the quality of this remote toy at such a price. Whilst it is half of what it originally was, it is ok.Functionality is cool and a good gift idea.It is easy to opera as well. The toy comes in a big box and it was securely packaged too.

All-terrain toy vehicles
Without considering the price, this product feels that the quality is just so-so after use, and the packaging is extremely simple.

Fun toy to use
My son is a huge fan of remote control cars, and this one is a fantastic addition to his collection. The package includes the Grave Digger, a remote control, and an instruction guide. The speed of this vehicle is absolutely amazing, just like the real Monster Jam live events. The only drawback is the price of £74.99, which may seem a bit pricey compared to his other toys, but it’s definitely worth it considering the unique features it offers. Additionally, it requires 2 AAA batteries for the joystick controller, which adds to the overall cost. Nevertheless, it’s an incredibly fun toy to use, and I recommend it.

Large all terrain RC monster truck.
The Grave Digger Trax is equally at home on all kinds of land and in water. Its motorised rubber tracks act like paddle wheels. On land the Grave Digger moves and spins at lightning speed. This high speed makes it difficult to control and with the vehicle also being lightweight, it has a tendency to topple onto it side. It might be worthwhile experimenting with adding some ballast. The remote control steering levers are well sprung, but they are very close together on a small hand set.Amazon seem to have made a mistake with their current list price for this RC. Everywhere else the toy is priced around £70. At that price I think that it is reasonable value.

All terrain
Fast and fun, all terrain and crazy. It has polystyrene base so floats and moves on water. Needs batteries. easy to control and comes nicely boxed. Great gift

Fun remote all-terrain vehicle with explosive acceleration
This car comes with a piece of printed cardboard wrapped around it and sits on a base of plain cardboard from which it needs to be delicately extracted by an adult. It is very simple to operate. The car charges via a USB-C socket, protected by a cover and is controlled by a simple remote control unit with two joysticks that requires 2 x AAA batteries. The RC unit pairs with the car when they are turned on and it is then time to hand over the remote control to children. Our 3 year old grandson and his friends have enjoyed playing with the Monster Jam stunt car for the past year and half and despite their rough treatment, it remains in perfect condition. He was delighted to take control of this new Monster Jam and enjoyed getting it to do wheelies and rapid spins. The main play value of this vehicle is that it reacts so quickly to the remote control and is capable of explosive levels of acceleration, in terms of forward and backward movement as well as spinning around as each track moves in opposite direction. The Trax appears to be just as well made as the stunt car so hopefully will still be in good working order in another 18 months. My only concern when I first received this car was that it was priced at over £150. I see that it has now dropped to £74.99, which is a far more affordable and realistic price.

Relatively pricey compared to similar products.

With its striking and captivating design, this toy car is bound to capture attention wherever it goes. It offers a user-friendly experience, making it effortless to control, even for those new to remote-controlled vehicles. The controls are intuitive, allowing for smooth maneuvering, and catering to users of all ages and skill levels. The toy car’s lightweight construction, packed with foam-like material, ensures buoyancy and enhances its waterproof capabilities. Additionally, the thoughtful inclusion of a sealing plug on the charging port adds an extra layer of protection against water infiltration during water-based operations. However, it’s worth noting that its slightly higher center of gravity may lead to instability when reversing and encountering obstacles. Price is an important factor to consider, and it’s worth mentioning that the toy car was initially priced at £159, but the current price stands at £74.99, it is worth noting that this toy car may still be considered relatively expensive compared to other similar products.

Sturdy toy for kids, ideal for gift purpose, fast and powerful.

I ordered this Monster Jam toy for my 5-year-old daughter. It’s a large outdoor vehicle designed for kids’ entertainment. The remote controller requires 2 AAA batteries (not included), while the vehicle itself has a rechargeable battery that can be charged through a USB C connection. The toy is quite powerful, and its rubber tracks allow it to overcome various obstacles like water, grass, snow, mud, and rocks. It operates at a high speed, although it may be initially challenging to control as it can easily flip. However, with practice, you become more accustomed to it. Overall, it’s a sturdy toy that should endure for a while. My kids adore it and have been playing with it non-stop during the holidays. The battery life is decent, lasting approximately 20 minutes, and it recharges quickly. It offers good value for the price and is an excellent choice for a gift. I hope you find this review helpful.

Smaller than I first thought and plastic
The monster jam is possibly most little boys and girls dream. Arrived in a huge box, and felt quite heavy, however when I got to the truck, I thought is this it. I know on sellers pages it’s obviously blown up but it isn’t as big as I thought. This is an outdoor remote control vehicle from the age of 4 years and up. However even with parent supervision, I feel aged 4 is too young to understand. Personally I would say 6-7 years old would be better. This isn’t a cheap toy, so the last thing you need is a really young child breaking it.The size is medium and the material is plastic, I thought it would be more tough. The terrain is pretty extensive, but we haven’t tried the truck in bad weather, ie, snow as it is summer.Battery’s are not included for the remote, so will need to buy 2 x AA ( for this price, why are they not included?) kids are so disappointed opening gifts, to have to wait for batteries, my pet hate.Works in forward and reverse, and can be steered left and right.About 20 minutes worth of playing before recharge. In the pack you should receive a grave digger tray RC, one remote control and instruction guide.Being plastic, ok maybe a stronger plastic for this type of toy, but it is very lightweight and would easily topple over in mud, snow. When steering on occasions it is like a supermarket trolley, you know the kind.It is fun, no doubt, but whatever the make I am not bothered, I go by the durability and feel the current price £74.99 is very high. For this I wouldn’t think of paying any more than £35. I feel it isn’t that robust.⭐️Thank you to the seller⭐️I hope my review helps you.

Fun and fast

Meet little toy this which works well on water and land. Sand grass or smallish rocks but beware it’s pretty easy to flip this thing when changing direction. Much slower on water but builds up a little speed in a straight line once it gather momentum. Very easy to control with a lever for forward and back and a lever for left right. Doesn’t take too long for a charge and gives plenty of time to drive it about. Loads of fun and the kids (big and small) love it.

Great for kids, but not great value for money

Great product with aesthetic appeal. It’s easy to drive and fast. The kids love it. It’s a good size, but it shouldn’t be 1:15. I like the idea of a rechargeable USB. Aesthetically appealing. It’s easy to drive and fast.It works well on rough and uneven ground. It has soft rubber wheels, and it can run smoothly on the lawn, and can also smoothly go over bumps and slopes. But it makes a lot of noise, which is acceptable outdoors but really loud indoors.

Lightweight and unstable
I have never had a remote control vehicle and know very little about them, but I was tempted by the fact that this claims to work on water as well as land. At the time I ordered it, I was rather surprised by the price tag which I recall as being around £170, but at time of review it has come down to £74.99. As stated, I have no basis for comparison but when I opened the box I was genuinely shocked at how flimsy this feels. It appears to be comprised mainly of a block of foam with a very cheap plastic casing and decals to resemble the Grave Digger vehicle. The plastic feels like it would be very easy to break and the overall feel is like a toy I’d expect to get from a low end bargain store and expect to dispose of within a month. The remote control function, then, is the main advantage this has. As a novice, I found it really difficult. The controls are easy enough to use but the vehicle is super responsive, the speed is very fast but the weight of it (or lack thereof) and chunky profile mean it has a tendency to tip over and need rescuing. This becomes even more problematic when used in water. Luckily I tested this function in my garden pond before going further afield, because it didn’t take long before it was tipped over there too and needed rescuing with a long-handled net. As my partner observed, he’d be frighten to take this to open water in case he couldn’t get it back which, based on our experiments, seems like a very real possibility. My partner has more experience with RC vehicles than me and he’s had fun driving this around the garden (the dog is less keen). He tells me the price is actually quite low in comparison to many remote control vehicles, but he has also found there’s a learning curve with controlling this and the construction doesn’t feel like it will stand much abuse. I’ve no doubt kids will have fun with it, but it’s worth being aware of its limitations before purchase and frankly I would be loathe to spend the money after my own experience.

Loving it but far too expensive
This is a great toy and lots of fun but there are other similar toys at a third of the price and do just as well … save the cash i think and buy 3 other good toys at this price.
SJSJ –
Not worth the ultra high price!
Im not sure what I was expecting but based on the price £159.99 at the time of ordering it was much more than a toy car that I’d be pushed to be happy paying more than £50 – £60 for it as it’s nothing more than a young child’s toy, measuring 11 inches x 7.6 inches with the remote being a tiny 2.5 inches x 4 inches. Even with the family liking monster jam this isn’t worth the price and is so over priced just based on the name.

Seems very expensiveb
I have looked at other stores to compare prices and there’s up to £90 difference on this so I feel this is expensive. Was E wondering if there’s a typo on either.Having said that the trax itself is great. It looks a bit tacky made from plastic but it’s really sturdy. Took it to the beach and it managed the pebbles no problem at all, even ran it through the waters edge and it was great. Would have liked instructions for the remote control rather than trial and error, still not convinced we’ve found everything. It’s a powerful beast making crossing hard terrain seem easy. Certainly a toy to use all year round. Very easy to use the remote and it can go quite a distance before you lose control over it so it’s perfect in a park ir field even in muddy puddles. It’s an official vehicle and part of the tour. It’ll last as it’s really strong and very responsive. Definitely a monster. They loved the wheelie style action
