Not the same
For some reason these are not the same as the ones I have that are the same size. So they don’t match the ones I have or stack the same. Maybe they are an older version?! Also, the lid on one doesn’t stay on.

They’re ok.
They serve the purpose of what I am using them for. The tops can be removed without pushing the button on top. But they do keep what’s inside fresh. I do like how the scoops attach to the lid. I probably won’t repurchase anymore tho. The price is way too high for something that only does part of it’s job. The lid shouldn’t be able to be pulled off while the button is pushed down.

Oxo innovation and quality is unmatched
I needed a variety of storage options for my dry goods (flour, cornmeal, sugar, etc.) and landed on this product. Oxo is certainly a brand I trust in my kitchen and these containers fit the reputation well. Each item is airtight and reliable. I took an airtight star off because the seals seem sufficient for hands-off use, but the containers cannot be picked up holding the top or the top will pop off. These are really superior containers and once you buy one pack you will find a hundred new applications and be back for more soon. Thanks, Oxo!

Old style is better
I only started acquiring the popup containers last year. Due to the cost I’ve been purchasing incrementally and from different retailers. I’ve come to notice several lid variations. These are a newer style, much slimmer and sleeker than the older style which has a more substantial curved lid. This set is the worst. The lids are very finicky and hard close. They don’t seem air tight either. I can pick them up by the lid and it slides right out while sealed. Disappointed based on the price. I haven’t dropped these yet, but did drop one of this style and the container cracked. I do still love these containers and think they are the most attractive option, recommend buying older style if possible.

Does not seal properly
I typically don’t write reviews but decided to do so regarding this product. I see some other reviewers experiencing the same thing. I bought two sets of the 3 1.1 qt containers each on separate occasions. The first time, I didn’t open it until well after my return deadline was up and was stuck with them. Unlike any of the other OXO pop containers I have, this size is the only one in my experience that has a design flaw. When opening the first one, all 3 containers didn’t seal properly. You push down on the button for the airtight seal. However, when the button is down, you can pull the top completely off without any force. I found out by accidentally grabbing one from the top to put up after placing rice in there and it fell. So, I tested the others without placing anything in them and they did the same thing. I have many of the older design (rounded edge) and the latest design in different sizes and none of them have the same issue. So, I needed another 1.1 qt so I decided to try it again, thinking the first one I bought was just a defective batch. I tested it out as soon as I received them and all 3 did the same exact thing.I then contacted OXO customer support which the representative was courteous; and because they didn’t have any replacement lids, they instructed me to contact Amazon to see if they can replace it. They also said they have been instructing customers to not pull the top which I understand, but you’re paying money for a product that is clearly defective.I contacted Amazon which they graciously sent me a replacement box of containers and as soon as I received them, I tested it out and this time…2 out of the 3 sealed properly where the other one does the same thing. My issue is that why is it only this size that have this issue? At least that has been my experience. I have many of the latest design models in a multitude of different sizes and the 1.1 qt is the only one that won’t seal properly. My suggestion is to stay away from this specific size as I will do from now on and find a different size that is comparable if needing one close to this size. Apparently from my experience 7 out of 9 containers of the same size not sealing properly lends itself to a design flaw somewhere.

Doesn’t seal!
I have always loved the OXO containers with the pop up lids. They used to create an air-tight suction seal that would keep the contents fresh for weeks! The lids were made such that you could unscrew the silicone sealer portion to wash. They are now one piece which would be fine, if they sealed the jar. They don’t. When you push down the top button, you would expect that the top would be very difficult to remove due to suction. That is not the case with these new lids. They can easily be pulled up, and unfortunately the contents get stale very quickly. Hopefully, I can find more of the old style. Very disappointed with this new style.

Inferior design versus older model
I’ve had OXO Pop containers for a while and needed to replace some that cracked, so I bought this set thinking they would be similar. The lids are thinner and the seals do not grab as tight so they cannot be picked up from the top using the lid – or else the lid will come off and the container will spill.Compared to the old container of similar size, the lids are significantly thinner, presumably to save money.Do yourself a favor and seek out the old-school OXO Pop containers that have thicker lids and seals.

Does not keep baking supplies fresh
Purchased these containers to store baking ingredients. I stored a brand new package of brown sugar in one of the containers and after about a month, the brown sugar was as hard as a rock. I know brown sugar clumps and can get hard after a little while, but this was much worse that storing in its original box packaging.

Not airtight as of late 2022 model; suction is weak and slides off
I have seen an older model that was airtight: upon pressing the button down, you could feel the tightness of the lid sealing. However, for the recent set I got, there isn’t the same pressure when “sealing.” It does help somewhat, but isn’t a strong seal. If I put water inside, and turn it upside down, a tiny bit of water can get past the seal and sometimes leak out, showing that it’s not airtight.Otherwise, design and sturdiness looked good, but far from a 5 star rating in my opinion. Still usable but not great.

Not thrilled with the new lid design
I have a set from a few years ago and the lids are much more sturdy as well as functional. I used one of these new ones for loose leaf tea, so the weight in the container is pretty much negligible and, where I can pick it up by the lid on the old one, if I even touch the lid when closed on this new one it just slides right out without un-popping it.

Disappointed – after about 9 months
When I first received these I was very happy with them. They seemed to seal well and were very sturdy. They were pretty much what I was looking for. Now, about 9 months later a bit less happy because the seals on the lids seem to be failing. When I first bought them getting the lids off was a bit of a challenge, particularly if you did not use the “release”/”suction” feature (easy to do on the smaller container more of a challenge on the larger ones). Now, not so much and in fact I have inadvertently had the lid come off when picking the container up (thank goodness what was in it was still in packaging that kept it from spilling). This is a big black mark as it also means the container is not sealing as well and the food inside is more likely to be exposed to additional moisture in the air and also be a draw for the mice in the office (which was why I wanted them in the first place – to keep the mice out). Would look for another solution before buying again.

Not That Airtight
I want to love these, I really do. i have mostly the larger and medium Pop containers but thought these would be perfect for baking soda, cornstarch, etc. I was so disappointed that, no matter how many different ways I tried, the seal is just not very strong. I can literally take the lid off when it supposedly air-tight. Using them for sugar packets, etc. instead. So sad I bought 2 sets of these.

Great… until it fails… and then it’s garbage
I don’t even know how many of these we have, and how many of them failed on us. As long as they work fine, they’re great! But if they fail, that’s it. You can’t unscrew the top and somehow, gently, reattach it. It just fails and no matter what you do, it’s out of commission. We’ve had so many of these fail on us that I can’t attribute this to a particular malfunction but, rather, to a serious flaw in design. In short, I can’t recommend these. Within several month or a year, you’ll end up throwing these out in the garbage. Highly disappointing for an OXO product!

Disappointed – Does not seal closed
I have owned OXO pop containers in various sizes for years and love how they can keep a tight seal. I purchased these assuming the pop and seal technology would be the same as the containers I already own…wrong. There is a new design/technology with these lids that do not provide a tight seal. You can easily take the lid off with the pop button engaged. All 3 containers had this flaw, so I wouldn’t consider this a defect. Very disappointed and returned for a different brand that keeps the seal tight.

Love but not perfect
I adorabe oxo containers for my pantry to keep everything uniform and fresh. I’ve noticed with the new style of lid that they have (not just this size but the larger ones I have as well) the vacuum seal lid doesn’t sit tightly and if you grab the container by the top the lid will pop off and you’ll spill it. So as long as you keep that in mind they are still a wonderful option for organizing!

Much better than glass jars of the past
Pros: fit into the drawers and cabinets much better and lighter than round or oval glass jars; seal tightly; openings large enough to scoop from without spilling.Cons: spill risk if lifting by lid – which is advised against.Have purchased various sizes for our various needs in kitchen cabinets, drawers and refrigerator.

Best food storage containers
This particular style of Oxo containers is my favorite food storage container by far (there is a newer version with rounded corners but it takes up more space). We initially got them as wedding presents and love them. They are easy to add labels to, stack well, and are legitimately air tight unlike so many other brands. Worth the price.

Efficient use of space and airtight too…
My Daughter has pull-out drawers in her entire kitchen, with dozens of these in the drawers with labels on tops. It effectively uses nearly 100% of the drawer space in a way that’s trivially easy to tell what’s what and get to the contents, because the pop-up seal release is the handle. So I gave them a try, even though I don’t have a nice setup like she does. Currently most of my sealed storage needs are using old mason jars whose lids seal but are not great for liquids, but those sort of cylindrical jars waste more shelf space. I like these so much I’m considering getting more, even though they’re plastic.

Small yet keeps items fresh
The media could not be loaded.
I bought these 1.1 quart containers to hold my tea. Using these for the last few months I have to say they work wonderfully at keeping my tea leaves fresh so each cup tastes great. With their size and suction they would also work well holding sugar, flour, or other cooking essentials. They can stack and are compact enough that they can easily fit in a pantry or be out of the way on the countertops. If you are looking for a small container to keep items fresh I would recommend OXO Good Grip 3-Piece container value set.Pros:-Size is great-Stackable-Keeps items freshCons:-Suction holds alright, but with enough force the top will come off

Not the same as the old model. But still okay!
I learned quickly that the lids on these are not interchangeable with the old ones because the containers are different. But it seems that as long as I use the correct lids, they work to create the seal I need for food freshness.

I bought this used and I do love it but the lids do not seal well at all. I have a larger version for whole roasted coffee beans and it seals very well. I do not know if the product just works this, or is “worn out” as it was used when I got it, or is defective.

They fit together so don’t take up extra space
I’ve been using one of these for popcorn storage for years now and recently have bought several sets in different sizes to organize my pantry and countertops. I love how closely together they fit so that I can use every bit of space. The lids fit tightly and are interchangeable between units of the same size. The large ones come with scoops that snap onto the underside of the lid. I also bought the ring that you soak in water to help keep your brown sugar from becoming a rock and it works great! I’ve got these in four sizes and I love them all!

Best storage bins around
I love these storage containers. They seal, keep food fresh, dry, etc. I have multiple sizes. The only thing, I wish they were a little less expensive. A warning, be sure to hand wash the sealing top. The bottom (container) can be put in the upper shelf of the dishwasher, but the sealing top will not work if it is run through the dishwasher.

I should of bought these years ago. OXO a storage containers are pricey and never thought I would pull the trigger. Glad I did! These are a bit small but perfect for countertop everyday items. A luxury!
This little pack is amazing. It streamlines my kitchen, making it both practical and more organized aesthetically. The only complaint I have is that one of the containers’ suction doesn’t work as strong as the others but I did buy this as a Warehouse deal so that may have been why it was returned in the first place (yes, I opened it up and made sure everything was good to go). I use this for my granulated sugar, brown sugar, and flour. What I’ll probably end up doing is getting another set and re-organizing my entire cupboard with these guys. Highly recommend.

Game changer for an organized pantry
I love my new organized pantry! We store all our snacks in these containers to make it easy for my kids to self-serve. They reduce visual clutter and make it easy to see when something is running out. And they are easy for my kids to scoop snacks into bowls without spilling. They keep snacks fresh longer because of the seal.

Love these in my pantry!
I love how these look and stack, and how they are easy to wash, but I especially love the pop-top seals. They hold tight for me, even when turned upside down. They hold an entire bag of brown sugar or powdered sugar. I had 2 of the larger ones for flour and sugar, and how I have purchased these smaller ones. They are definitely worth the money! I also like the fact that I can put my own labels on them, and that you can get a clay insert to keep the brown sugar soft.
