Really cute and this one was appropriately packaged to arrive in one piece. However, fits 2-3 gallon tank; it’s too small for Goldie2’s one gallon tank. Will upgrade soon so I am keeping it.

Needed sanding.
I like Sponge Bob’s fish tank decoration. There was one problem…there was a lot of flash and burrs in the port holes and door way. It was going into my betta Ziggy’s tank but I was afraid his fins would get torn so I sanded it. Please make sure the burrs/flash are removed please!

This is absolutely cool. It gives your aquarium a cool boost look. I initially doubted if the fish can enter into it. but they did, its now a hideout for one of the fishes. he seems to be happy in his house. he looks so adorable when he enters into the new house and peeks his head from inside :)cool one and great value for price!

I got this as a house/hide for my pet slug, and it loves the thing.I would recommend de-buring it in places where it’s sharp depending on your use case, but I just used some light sanding and then washed it with warm soapy water.My slug loves zooming all around it, and in and out the windows.Now I just need a matching squidward and patrick house XD

Cute Ornament, But Quite Small
I purchased this for my 7 year old foster son for Christmas. I also purchased him a collection of 2″ SpongeBob mini figures (9 characters total). I thought this house would be a nice addition to his toys. The toys are plastic, but this is glass. That’s to be expected from an aquarium ornament. It’s made of thick glass and painted with a pretty hardy coating of paint. For a toy it works fine and it won’t break even after being dropped. The only piece that has snapped off is a little bit of the leaf from the top of the pineapple.We do have an aquarium that the ornament was used in for a day- because he wanted it in there. But the fish didn’t seem fond of it, so he decided he’d rather play with it. The door of the ornament measures approximately 2″ in height. Some of the small plastic characters I purchased do not fit in the house- but that’s fine. On the other hand, for people purchasing this ornament for fish, the ornament will be quite small. Only smaller fish will fit inside. The entire pineapple itself measures about 4 inches across and 6 inches high. It’s not a large ornament. Nice for a small fish bowl- but I don’t really find those an ethical size for fish. We only use large aquariums. And in a large aquarium this ornament is very small. It’s overwhelmed by the rest of the space.The ornament does have a beautiful paint job. The colors are very accurate when compared to the cartoon. In aquarium lighting, in the water, the look is fantastic. Like I mentioned though- it is tiny! The paint is waterproof and being compared to my other aquarium ornaments I can honestly say it seems about the same quality. It’s nicely made.As for it being a toy for the small SpongeBob figures (which it is often purchased with on Amazon according to their ‘to buy with recommendations’)- it is a nice addition to the set. It’s a little small for some of the figures, but the SpongeBob ones will fit inside. Patrick and Mister Crab are a bit too ‘fat’. Sandy and Squidward are a bit too tall- but will fit in if they are tilted sideways to walk in. The glass doesn’t really make it a great toy for kids under 5. But for kids 6 and older who will realize how to be a little more careful with their toys- this could be nice. It is the only toy SpongeBob house I’ve found aside from Legos (which is vastly more expensive).All in all I like this ornament, but it’s not really five stars in my book. It’s very small- which makes it good for the toy characters. But if you’re using it for an aquarium it’s going to seem a bit tiny. It’s pretty and looks very realistic! But only tiny fish will be able to fit inside. If they made one a bit larger, I’d happily pay a bit more for it. And I think the size really does make a difference in rating on this specific thing- so that’s why it got 4 stars instead of 5.

Product is bright and colorful, looks perfect in the aquarium, two complaints , 1. It came with one of the top leafs broken off, 2. It was not wrapped properly in bubble wrap to protect it, as it is so fragile and easy to break.

Birthday Table Decoration
My Dad and I are throwing Mom a SpongeBob birthday, because she loves the little square dude lolWe got this to decorate the dining room table with.Very pleased with the item itself, it is small and we knew that. It’s just as described! :-)However, Amzon did not do a good job at ALL with shipping and packaging of it. We are beyond shocked and lucky that it wasn’t chipped up and/or broken. It was shipped around in one of their tacky “we made this box to fit your item” boxes, and the decoration itself was sitting in a tiny thin paper half-carton. Not taped in, not tied in, just sitting on it in the box. I heard it flopping inside when I picked up the package, and jut knew it’d be broken. It was not, thankfully.No air balloons to cushion, no paper filler…. tacky on Amazon’s end for sure.

I really like this pineapple…it looks super cute in my aquarium. I thought that the windows, and openings, would be big enough for my fish to swim in/through, but they are not. Also it was just thrown in the box with other items broken. I didn’t find any broken pieces in the box, so I’m assuming it was put in the box broken. For the price, I just kept it and place it so the broken part wasn’t as noticeable. Overall it was an OK purchase.

Color fades
As other reviews state, the color fades pretty quickly. My fish is still alive and seems fine so safety doesn’t seem to be an issue but just disappointing. Pictures are from when I️ first received it and after about four months.

Came broken
Super cute. My son loves it and so do the fish but it came broken. Two of the leaves on top are half missing. Like it didn’t even break in the box because I would have just glued it back together. But I don’t have the broken pieces so I can’t 🤷🏼♀️ other than that it’s perfect

My hermit crabs LOVED it
I got this for my hermit crabs and they LOVED it it was also something fun to look at from the outside make sure you don’t put it by the high side of the tank or else your hermit crabs will climb out the tank

Perfect cake decoration
Bought this Spongebob house to use as a cake topper for my son’s birthday cake and it worked out perfectly! I also got Squidward’s house and had it displayed on the table as well.Palm trees and spongebob characters were also purchased from Amazon and for anyone wondering the cake is from Walmart bakery! 10/10 would recommend.

Item came broken.
I was really excited to surprise my daughter and her new fish with this sponge bob house but upon opening, found it completely broken, there were no pieces in the box to suggest it was broken during shipping so it was sent in this condition. I am going to reorder one and hope it comes in perfect condition this time!

Perfect little house for my betta fish
The size of this is perfect for my betta. I received one in mail, but it broke. I contacted customer service. They can ship me a replacement. So glad that they can do it. My little betta now has a perfect little home. He likes to stick his head out of those little window and chill there. So cute! The only thing is the cleaning. The inner part is not easy to clean. Other than that, it works perfect.

Unmistakably SpongeBobs house
It is unmistakably SpongBobs house. Our fish LOVE it, as do our snails and loaches. They are all constantly playing peekaboo through all the “windows” and the doorway. Our kids love it as well. The only thing I was bummed about was its actual size and the price, it’s not 6 inches like advertised, at least ours isn’t. So it definitely won’t last the duration of our fishes lives as they will grow too big to fit inside eventually. We picked this one specifically because of its size, had I known it wouldn’t have been 6 inches tall I would have saved a little money and time just buying the exact same thing at Wal-Mart for cheaper. But other than that it is an awesome decoration for our SpongeBob themed aquarium.

Cute but arrived broken
I bought this to use as a cake topper. Upon reading reviews I saw a majority of the buyers said theirs arrived broken. I ordered 2 in case this happened with my order and sure enough.. it did. Attached is a image of how it was sitting in the box when i opened it… no cushioning, nothing. Just freely in the box full of my other items. Luckily one was fine so I used that one. Looked pretty cute on the cake in the end. I deducted stars for the broken one and the way it was packaged.

Amazing Product!

Almost great!I was very surprised by the detail. Disappointed though. My 9 year old bought a few items himself for his tank- this being one. We ordered a used-*like new to save a a few cents. Usually this items are just missing tags and repackaged, no big deal. This item was broken 😠 nothing like new about parts not only broken off, but not sent with the item for us to try and repair it. Used items are separated into several categories based on condition and broken does not = like new. Very disappointed in Amazon.Product otherwise is excellent!

Worth it for the price…
Item was worth it because it was on sale. Got it for a good price…but, who ships such an item with no foam packaging or anything… at least get a better fitting box where there is less room for it to be shaken around…literally came in a box 3 times its size with no soft packaging and broke….just glad it wasn’t damaged worst.

sharp interior edges, careful handling
Interior edges feel very sharp, likely not good for live animals. I’m using it in a snow-globe so it’s not an issue other than handling while building the globe. I’ve worked in a few plastic injection/molding factories, it’d take at least 5 minutes per item to clean up the edges even with a dremel (this resin appears to be fragile and cracks easy) which I’d expect to double the price.Mine actually came with the tallest middle leaf broken off with no sign of the broken part in the shipping box. I should probably ding the score more for it being damaged but to fit in the 6″ globe I bought I had to cut 3 more of the leaves down; I had to break it more anyway so no point in dinging the score. Maybe check your local pet store if it has to be pristine and unbroken, mine has it listed for not much more than here.
