Skil Circular Saw/w Laser
Great saw, I haven’t used it to cut yet but I’m sure I’ll love it when I do, comes with durable saw blade & I love the red laser feature for straight cutting, I plugged in & ran it for a wile tho, sounds great & runs really smooth, on off switch for laser & I have always used Skil products for years. I love the laser feature!
I originally purchased this unit to replace an older model that I had, that had finally gave up the ghost and quit working. The price was great, the colors are bright and nice to look at, the added laser addition is awesome and I will definitely be using it. My only disappointment is the fact that it is or at least I could not find it in a left-handed model. But being a lefty in a right-handed world, I have learned to make do as best as possible. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend Skil saws to anyone. Skil has been a leader in the circular saw industry since I was a kid. Side note: I have used Skil circular saws all my life to the point that, to this day I still call all circular saws, regardless of brand, a Skil saw.

Don’t hesitate, This is a very nice skil saw
Ive had skil saw for years and loved it, I gave it to my sin n law to have one, so I had to buy naother one and tried this one out and I am really glad I did it is a really great saw, even better than my old skil saw. This thing has great safety features and cuts as good as any $250 saw you can buy. No idea why anybody owuld spend more money to buy a different saw instead of buying this one.. Just being honest, if you need a circular saw don’t hesitate to buy this saw you will be happy you did.

I’m happy
I was initially going to buy a more expensive one. But, I decided to get this and a Kregs accu-cut. Straight, easy cuts. Saw has plenty of power. I’m using it mainly for plywood, 2x4s and pallet disassembly.My tool snob buddy noted how well this inexpensive saw worked.Laser feature really helps with freehand cuts.

im guessing no bags for basic saw. the saw itself is good and from what i see its built for hp where as other saws are built for torque. nice smooth cuts and nice weight to the saw wish it was a but more torquey/aggressive but other than that all good for now.

Awesome Circular Saw – Durable, hard working, excellent design.
So impressed and pleased. Handily surpassed my expectations. My old Craftsman gave up the ghost a few years ago and I’ve been using an 18v Ryobi to squeak by. Bought this because I had a granite project. Man! Pushed this puppy to the limit over nearly 5 punishing hours to whack up a granite block to make stepping stones. One blade, one saw, one tired man. It did the job. Thanks Skill for a great product. I’m super happy. All that water and it never shorted. All that granite and it kept going. Guard was sturdy enough to bear down and work left handed when my arms were fatigued… And the laser guide? Nice touch. Flawless victory!

Good saw Great price
Let me start by saying it annoys me when people give a product one star because it arrives damaged. Or like wise when they give it 5 stars and first thing they say is “I haven’t used it yet but it looks good”. I’m giving this 5 stars because I’ve used it for the past three weeks. Redoing my deck and it’s doing exactly what I want. It’s replacing another skil saw I’ve had for twenty years. I was concerned about the low price worried it would be plastic and cheaply made thus bounce. It’s a great weight, nicely balanced and cuts true. The laser is perfectly aligned and is very helpful (except in bright light such as sunglasses). Blade is a carbide and cuts smoothly. Seriously, I’m greatly surprised by how good this saw is.

Good Saw
I had it for few months and it’s been working great. It’s powerful and cuts well, even pressure treated once. Don’t care much about the laser. I would just make a pencil line and follow that. Easy to install and replace blades and has a spot to securely put the wrench. Easy to adjust height and angel. Overall, it a good product for beginners and garage use. You are limited with the corded tool, but also don’t have to worry about batteries and charging.

It cuts 2×4’s
When I retired as a contractor, I disposed of my professional saws which could cut 60 to 80 2×4″s, plywood or OSB all day every day. I found I needed a home owner”s saw that would maybe cut a 1/2 dozen boards a year. This will do that at a Harbor Freight price.

Terrific Saw
Purchased this saw to cut concrete pavers along with a masonry blade and this thing did not disappoint! I was able to cut 175 sq ft of patio pavers and it cut through it like butter. Love the laser on it and made straight and accurate cuts!

Replacement saw
I replaced my 20 year old saw with this one. I infrequently use so a cheap saw is all I need. If your going to use daily then you should look elsewhere.

Great circular saw.
I bought this saw because I needed to cut some butcher block counters and my long time craftsman was not up to the job. This Skil saw was very inexpensive and easy to use. I don’t need a circular saw often, but this one is a great addition to my tool box.

Something everybody has to have
Just got this as my first circular saw, I’ve used before when needed and for weekend DIY thing this will handle things as good as is. Build look good and the blade well I’ll see what to do with it. I got a Diablo Blade just to do more. The bag is a good touch, not a big deal but it works. Laser guide is awesome! One of things I liked about this one was that.
