what a disappointment
There is minimal difference in noise with this mouse – I know “silent” really means reduction, but this was so really NO DIFFERENT than a normal mouse. It’s a weird hight, too – it’s slightly lower and longer than a regular mouse but not long skinny mouse – it’s doable, but not my preference. Also, the side of the mouse is plastic instead of a textured feeling, which I prefer. The packaging of the mouse also makes it impossible to test it and return it. Some other company ship the mouse in a box that opens on the side so that it can be easily returned if you don’t like it when you see it.

Bummed out
I have had it less than 2 months and it just quit working one day. I thought it just needed new batteries but I replaced the batteries and it still came on momentarily and turned itself back off after a couple of seconds, so frustrating. Will find a more reliable mouse.

Terrible
This is a terrible mouse. Yes, it is silent, which I like. The problem is it goes to sleep and gets stuck where you left it on your screen after seconds of stopping use. I have to do several things to try to wake it up / get the curser to unfreeze: use my Ctrl key, shake it or turn it over and push the connect button on the back of it. A lot of annoying effort… I spend way too much time managing this mouse. Waste of money.

I’ve had it about a month no longer works.
This product didn’t function correctly the whole time I tried to use it. It would skip and jump anytime I used it in a game. Then it stopped working after a month, just past the deadline for returns. The old one that I was trying to replace worked better than this one ever did.

This is a good mouse, about the same as the Amazon Basics model. The mouse will pause when not used for 20-30 secs, you must click to reactivate. The wheel is okay. Buttons will click. It’s small and lite, probably best as a travel mouse. I can’t use something this small all day long.

Piece of absolute garbage. NEGATIVE 12 stars
This does not reflect anything on the third party seller. I have exchanged it once, and they were AWESOME, but they do not have anymore. The first time it was damaged at the manufacturer. See attached pic. I called Verbatim and was told I had to wait 4 weeks before they would honor their warranty. SO I exchanged it through a wonderful seller. NOW, I have one that will not stay on, and its missing the USB Bluetooth out of the package, which was sealed. IT CAME FROM VERBATIM that way. The first mouse I left three emails for their customer service, and received NO reply. Then I called their corporate office, and got no reply. Mouse feels great in hand, and is SILENT. However, I can’t get one from the manufacturer that has all the parts and works right.UPDATE 11/2/2020The wheel on the mouse has worn out. Its still quiet, but does not scroll properly. Very disappointed in VERBATIM.UPDATE: 12/23 Called tech support as instructed by their FB contact. The tech told me that perhaps since I had not paid the right price, parts were missing. Then did not seem to understand the NANO receiver was missing out of the mouse, and that two sets of batteries were tried, but the mouse would not remain on, and once it shut off would not turn back on unless the power button was flipped. They are now telling me that I will have to pay return shipping to the manufacturer. PLEASE NOTE THE SELLER WAS AWESOME, they do not have anymore, and I am dealing with VERBATIM themselves for this return. THIS is total BS. I do not understand why I have to pay return shipping to the manufacturer when it is the manufacturers obvious fault. Further their complete LACK of customer service is beyond appalling for a major tech company. Will continue to update.UPDATE 1/6/2020Messaged their FB page, and was told that my case had, been called attention to the FB operator’s “Contact” at their customer service center. I checked with the BBB, and apparently having difficulty with their CC team is a constant that has been going on since 2017. I have still not heard anything after following directions. During my cc call I was told by one cc agent that perhaps because I did not pay the ‘correct price’ that was why I have missing parts. MY nano receiver is missing on a factory sealed item. Further it won’t stay on for more than about 10 seconds. This is terrible, awful. I have never seen this amount of passing a buck within a company before. I have a case number, I have sent them the information they asked for, and they still have done nothing to honor their warranty. I wish I had paid for it by Paypal on amazon, then I could have some sort of backing. I am out of the thirty day return with the seller from waiting on Verbatim, and the seller says they do not have anymore anyway. WILL continue to update. BEWARE of VERBATIM.UPDATE 1/11/2020Finally after threatening to call the BBB. I saw action. I now have a mouse with all the parts that seems to be working so far. We will see, as my trust is somewhat shaky.

Works great
I bought a new silver laptop and this new silver mouse is a nice pairing. As a bonus, I enjoy that is goes to sleep after not using for a while, then can wake it up with one click. I no longer have to turn over a mouse often to use the on and off switch, I like that. It’s a good purchase, I’m happy.

Nice mouse, nearly silent clicks (yet audible scrolling), can snag on felt/cloth, and the on/off switch is too small
Quiet, moves/tracks well (except can sometimes get snagged on felt & cloth), but the on/off switch is too small to use unless you have a pen tip or long fingernail to use as a tool. What I experienced with this mouse (that I didn’t with a handful of other mice that I used with the same computer and same computer pad) is the underside of this mouse can accidentally get snagged on (or catch) a fabric mouse pad that is not perfectly flat.

Disappointed. Only the right button is silent.
First mouse I received didn’t work at all. Returned for an even exchange. Second one worked as advertised for a couple weeks then the left button became “clicky”. Not as loud as a regular mouse maybe but definitely not silent. The right button still worked beautifully. Returned for a refund. Third mouse, left button was not silent from the get go, right button was silent. I put some 3-in-1 on the left “clicker” and that helped but apparently I put too much oil on because now it doesn’t function properly. So I’m out my $ on that one. Won’t be ordering any more of this product. Sad. Years ago it was a good SILENT mouse. Not any more.

The item was advertised as silver. It is white with a silver top.The item was advertised as a blue light. The mouse has a red light. The item will not work. When added to computer, it says it is a mouse/keyboard and will not work. You can only right click. The left button only clicks to close out something if you are on it. Returning for refund. I am disappointed, as I do not have a working mouse.

Very quiet, however average life is < 6 months Great mouse, very quiet. However, have had two of these in less than one year that have had similar problems. The first mouse fried out in less than one month. The second mouse lasted 10 months without problem. Currently, when scrolling the wheel up, the wheel scrolls up then down. Same issue when scrolling down.

Poor packaging, you have to click to wake it up
Not much to like. Hard to get it out of it’s packaging. Batteries are stacked so hard to get them in and out or to see which end is positive. Worse part is when it goes to sleep, you have to click the mouse to wake it up. If you left the mouse on something you didn’t want to select, tough luck.

short life-span
Great mouse, but short life-span, scroller stops working eventually. Construction quality is different for each mouse. Some are louder than others but its a good coffee shop/travel mouse. Only downside is the battery has to be replaced often. It would be nice to see the company invests in some engineering – they could put more durable wear and tear parts, as well as make this rechargeable and sell a version of this for $100.

Good multi-surface tracking
So far, so good. I gave this to my wife, who constantly has issues with her mouse due to all the surfaces she uses. She had no issues with this one and was able to stop taking a mouse pad to every location. She says tracking is good and she’s not complained about any “sleep” issues… yet… I like the size (she does too) as it’s a bit smaller than a “standard” mouse so it travels easier. The AAA batteries also make it lighter. For ~$10 it’s a good choice.

Good value
I cannot rate it for bluetooth, which I do not use – only as a standard mouse for a laptop. (I cannot use a computer with the touch pad.) It is average in capability, simple to attach, easy to use, and available at a good price. It’s rather light – standard for today – but I found it simple to work, and quite adequate.

A Stealth Wireless Navigating Tool That is Inexpensive, Yet Looks and Works Great! I Love This Mouse! Enjoy!
I love this product. It took just a few minutes to remove it from the package, install the 2 triple a batteries that come with it, plug the wireless Nano receiver USB plug into my laptop, turn on the switch on the bottom of the mouse and begin using this mouse.I use this mouse on the leather arm of my easy chair in my living room with my laptop. As claimed, this is a silent mouse with the exception of the scroll roller. Even that is pretty quiet though. When not in use, I turn off the product and place this attractive little mouse on the end table next to my chair where I have easy access at a moment’s notice. It has a comfortable grip with stealth right and left clickers. It makes absolutely no noise as I use it to move the cursor and a hardly noticeable sound when I scroll up and down the pages of my computer documents. Before I began using this mouse, my rather large fingers caused an annoying navigation problem when using my laptop—for example, on Facebook I would often unintentionally touch something that would change my screen to another page. This mouse allows pinpoint accuracy in navigating and selecting items on Facebook and other programs, preventing the problems mentioned above.I absolutely love this inexpensive, yet quality mouse and recommend it without reservation to friends, family and others who desire a stealth and accurate navigation tool to use during their computer operations.Enjoy!

Simple, reliable mouse that tracks well on all surfaces and is QUIET – no clicky clacky
This is a simple but great little mouse. I have little kids in the house that seem obsessed with my mouse and I love the bright red of this one, it’s easy to spot when it takes off. LOL It scrolls nicely, it fits ergonomically in my hand, and the little wheel in the middle works perfectly for scrolling down pages. One of the best things is that I can get away with talking on the phone to my very long winded relative who repeats herself a lot (same long stories every conversation) and still browse the internet while she happily chats away. It’s QUIET. No clicking and clacking to give away that I am multi-tasking.I also love that there are no cords; the wireless mouses are so worth it if you haven’t switched to it. Makes it simple. I never have had connectivity issues like I’ve had with other mouses; this one seems to be reliable all around. Plus it’s a great price. A definite 5 stars for a simple but reliable mouse.

I LOVE THIS MOUSE!!!!!
I LOVE THIS MOUSE!!!!!My husband and I both work a lot of hours, so I am usually trying to catch up on e-mail and bills while we are sitting in our recliners and watching television in the evening. For years, I know the constant “clicking” has been annoying. When I saw this “silent mouse,” I knew I needed to give it a try! It TRULY is near-silent. It was a ADDED BONUS that the mouse uses the Blue LED technology which makes it usable on surfaces such as glass, granite, etc. I am using it directly on the arm of my navy blue leather recliner without the need for any kind of “pad.” The mouse was absolutely “plug and play” with my Windows 10 laptop. I just inserted the tiny nano receiver into an available USB port; placed the two INCLUDED Energizer AAA batteries into the battery compartment; turned the mouse to the ON position; and VOILA! It worked IMMEDIATELY! This mouse is PERFECT for my needs, and I plan on ordering another one for my office.

Love the color, love the comfort, love this wireless mouse!
True quality deserves respect. This is probably the best mouse I have owned. It fits very comfortably on your hand; as if it’s meant there. Very easy as a cursor and the clicks are super quiet as is the scroll down wheel. The mouse has a blue light under instead of the old school red ligjt mouse I had. This enables me to use the mouse in almost any surface. I don’t have to use a lad anymore. It even came with energizer batteries. And a tiny port for the computer. Awesome! Loving it!

Good in the beginning
Worked really great for about two weeks. No noise is a good feature, something my wife appreciated because my clicking could get on her nerves. But the darn thing started working irratically. Changed batteries. tried it on a different computer, same thing. When I removed the USB wireless connector the black plastic head piece came off, leaving the USB part stuck in my computer port. I finally got it out after delicately using tweezers.A non-clicking mouse is a great idea that I can embrace if the bugs are taken out of it.

Excellent value in a silent, wireless mouse
I wanted a silent, wireless mouse for my laptop as I don’t like the included trackpad. Despite the low price, this was the best one I found. It really is silent. It’s precise and it has a good feel both for moving and clicking. The dongle is small enough to leave in the computer, but you can also store it in the mouse. I wouldn’t use it for gaming or drawing, but it’s more than adequate for everything else. Some previous reviews complained about the lack of instructions, especially as to the location of the dongle. Mine came with clear instructions on the back, in English, French and Spanish. The mouse takes two AAA batteries, which were included.

Super simple. The bottom of the mouse holds a …
Update:I’m surprised how poor the ratings are. I love this mouse. I came back to buy one for my other computer. The things I thought would be problems haven’t been an issue at all. The original batteries died a couple weeks ago (it’s mid August 2019). I haven’t had to turn the mouse off to save battery; it sleeps automatically when you don’t use it for several minutes. It wakes up when you click it. I only had to press “connect” once during original setup. The dongle storage in the battery compartment is great for travel, and the mouse made it through (my) rough handling on airplanes.—–This mouse could not be easier to set up! I have an ancient desktop PC and all I had to do was put in the (included) batteries, plug in the receiver, turn on the mouse and push the “connect” button (on the bottom of the mouse). Super simple. The bottom of the mouse holds a 2-AAA battery compartment, and there’s a ribbon in the battery compartment that you use to pull the batteries out. The orientation of the batteries is printed on the ribbon. I didn’t see that at first so obviously I put the batteries in wrong. It’s kind of hard to pull the batteries out with the ribbon, honestly. The mouse and USB receiver are super tiny so they’ll be easy to transport, but the mouse is also very easy to use–it isn’t too small for me at all. There’s a switch to turn the mouse off and on, and it’s teeeeny tiny, and I worry it won’t last that long. And I worry how long the battery will last if I don’t turn it off every time I’m done with it. I’m used to having a rechargeable or USB-connectable mouse…so I’ll update about that. But so far it’s been fine, so I can easily give this mouse four stars.

Web browsing and graphic designing just got so much more comfortable!
I LOVE wireless mice. Mouses? Mice. I don’t know. Why are they even called a “mouse” anyway?Prior to this one I was using another one I had for review that was a wired gaming mouse by Turtle Beach and while there was nothing wrong with that mouse besides that the rubber would start to wear and the fact it was wired; I really wanted to replace it.I’m one of those weird people who… well it’s not really weird, I have OCD like legit diagnosed and everything so when the cord touches me, I freak out about it. It’s hard to somehow position the cord away from you while still having the mouse have enough range to reach what you’re trying to do on the screen. And I just find the cord when transporting the laptop to be a hassle. Sure it’s great cause if the mouse falls in transport it doesn’t hit the ground but also annoying because now the cord is in your way/wrapping around your leg and like I said — OCD. Freak out. Maybe if I had a desktop it wouldn’t be so bad, but I don’t.So this mouse makes me feel a bit more at ease. It’s smooth, it glides and it’s wireless! The only problem with wireless mice is that you need batteries. Granted it takes A LONG time for the battery to run low and you get a crap ton of warnings before it actually goes out. Plus I like that this has a plastic covering and not some weird rubbery kinda.Web browsing and graphic designing just got so much more comfortable!

Cordless Wonder
Honestly, with these days for anyone that needs a computer, they either have 2 choices: they could scroll with a computer mouse, or if they have a touch screen function, they could use it like a tablet for the value of the convenience. Personally, while I do love both, I actually do prefer using a computer mouse, because it is much faster and more convenient when trying to pinpoint your errors in MS Office, or if you want to scroll down a page, without any flaws. I have used so many different brands of computer mice over the years from brands like Logitech, Compaq, and from smaller brands like iHome. Vertabrim has been one of those brands, that has made convenience recording data and computer storage for all your files. But using this Silent Wireless Mouse, I was actually surprised at how good it works. It really runs on a single battery, without any missteps or flaws like other brands of mice have shown. I sincerely suggest you give this one a try from Vertabrim. While it may seem like a lot, it actually is worthwhile at the end of the say for your laptop or desktop.Price: BConvenience & Setup: B+Overall: B: 1/2+

No more click click click sounds
This is a great mouse for a laptop, great for travel when you don’t want a bulky large full size mouse to carry round. People with smaller hands and kids will find this mouse really easy to hold. The main reason I wanted this mouse was because its got a silent click. and i mean silent. I don’t know why more don’t have this. I’m tired of hearing click click click click. I don’t need the noise to register that i’ve clicked something. you can see it on the screen when you click.Tracking is great, it has the blue LED so i’ve used it on my sofa, wood table and even my thigh with jeans on and it worked. Some cons are that the on off switch on the underside is very difficult to get to. its tiny so its hard to move it. Also there are no back and forward thumb side buttons. i know they can fit them, i have a mouse by microsoft that is the same size that has them. Also there’s no bluetooth only the usb mini plug.I know i’m being picky but this mouse would have been super perfect if it had the side buttons, bluetooth and a better on off switch. Its really silent and i’m loving this!

A good mouse companion for a laptop
For a wireless mouse, this is one is quite good. It’s completely silent, and it can be used on nearly any surface. I like that this mouse is very lightweight, and of a good size. It’s not large, or too small, just the perfect size for my hand. And it fits easily inside my briefcase, together with my laptop. It’s also compatible with most operating systems, and it is operated with two AAA batteries included. The only thing that is a little annoying is that the compartment to store the nano receiver inside the battery compartment, it is too uncomfortable to reach. It’s next to the batteries, but one must remove the batteries in order to take it out. Since the receiver is very small, I opted for leaving it plugged into my laptop, it doesn’t obstruct, or bump into anything, when I put the laptop in its case. It’s really a nano size, so it’s better to keep it where it’s easy to find it.

Nice mouse, but could be better on clear glass
The reason I chose this mouse is that it said it works on clear glass. I have a clear glass top coffee table and I like to use my tablet with keyboard on it while sitting at it. I don’t like the touch pad on the keyboards so I thought I would give this a try since it said it works on clear glass. All I can say is yes, it does work, but not as well as it does on other surfaces. Maybe if my glass was perfectly clean it would work better on the glass, but it was sluggish and would lose my place sometimes. It worked fantastic and with no effort on all the other surfaces. So overall this is a nice mouse, but may not work as you expect it might on clear glass table tops.

Silent as promised and easy to set up
Nice size and grip (plus I like the deep red color.) It’s only slightly larger than my portable mouse, so smaller than most corded mice. Most importantly, it does exactly as promised and is silent. This is important to a family member who finds noise of any kind a great annoyance, including the clicking of a mouse. The wireless connection was easy to set up and works well (you do need a USB port). ‘m using it with a PC and have no problems at all. It comes with 2 AAA batteries, too. Very quick and easy.|

Long battery life
First of all, it works as a mouse. Point, click, wheel, etc…And the wireless works great for me. There haven’t been any interference problems. The biggest plus over my previous wireless mouse is that the battery life here has been excellent. I’m at about 4 months on a good AmazonBasics battery and still going strong. Previous mouse got about 2 months on the same battery type. The “Blue LED” doesn’t seem to make a difference, but it does look cooler 😉

If the scroll wheel worked properly & consistently, I would have given it 5 stars.
The Verbatim Silent Wireless Blue LED mouse is definitely quite! A+ on that part for sure.Tracking on screen has been excellent, no issues whatsoever. The only “problem” I’ve encountered with this mouse is with the scrolling wheel. Scrolling up and down pages can be sporadic. When it’s working properly it’s fine but it intermittently scrolls less than it should leaving me to repeatedly scroll more often than normal to get down or up a web page. The red color looks fantastic and the mouse is pretty light and easy to hold.If the scroll wheel worked properly & consistently, I would have given it 5 stars.

NOT silent, and it randomly disconnects
There’s a timeout to save battery life, but it randomly disconnects far before the programmed timeout. This mouse is absolutely NOT silent by any means. It doesn’t have a jarring click, but it does have a loud thud, especially on the left button. The right button is quieter than the left.

Completely intuitive and plug and play. Really quiet.
This mouse is great… it really is just plug and play. I much prefer a mouse to the trackpad on my laptop, and the ease of use and the low profile dongle on this mouse has made it really easy to just pop this in my laptop bag and always have it available. It is also incredibly quiet… I know it said it was silent, but it still was surprisingly so… I use my computer to write reports in theatrical settings, so that lack of clicking is especially appreciated… I guess now I just have to sound deaden my keyboard!

Responsive on many surfaces
This is a very responsive little compact mouse. It comes with the batteries and works wireless through USB. It’s about the same size as most Logitech wireless mouse products, which means it’s not huge but not so small as to be awkward. It’s surprisingly responsive on all kinds of surfaces, including wood. I haven’t used it on a glass table but they claim it will work there as well. Great battery life thanks to the on/off switch on bottom. Great value for the price.

Edit: I bumped off a couple stars because after about 3 months it is no longer a silent mouse, which was the entire reason why I wanted this in the first place. It really WAS quiet at first but now the clicking is just as loud as the mouse I had before. Also, I tried to email support about this alleged 1-year warranty that is advertised and they never responded to me (it’s been two weeks). So… please do what you will with this information.Original review: I really like the silver finish on this mouse – it’s stylish and matches my mouse pad! It works well (no technical difficulties ever) is lightweight, and has quiet clicks! I haven’t had to change its battery yet either and I use it every day for online school/work for the last couple months. Would recommend 🙂
