I bought one to replace a Logitech mouse who’s buttons went flaky, and it’s been working like a champ. Just bought second one of these to replace another Logitech mouse.and the beauty of these is that they’re low cost enough that I don’t mind replacing it if it’s buttons go flaky, too.

Shockingly good for the price
Just replaced my failing M705 which had the typical microswitch failure. This one is just as good for a lot less. Scroll wheel is indexed and left/right mouse buttons have a light but very positive click to them.Sure it’s missing some of the features and additional side buttons of the M705 but if you didn’t use them in the first place, you won’t miss them now.This is a smaller mouse than the M705 but still feels very good in the hand.

Good product I used this for gaming and it worked exceptionally well and I still use it to this day the battery drain is very very good almost every night I would fall asleep leaving it on and it stayed working for about 5 months after I bought it so 100% would recommend

Ho-Hum Resolution Created Frustration
Pre Script: I’ve updated this review below and changed the rating from 3 to 5. ~Dan.I can see where this is probably just fine for many people. But, I was noticing something distracting when I was trying to split the curser between characters when I was editing a document I was working on. You know how it is when you want to insert a word or a space or something, right? I’d move the mouse for what seemed to me an appropriate amount, but nothing would happen with the curser. Then I’d move a bit more and more and then finally it would jump past the point I wanted it to be at. So, I’m fighting this thing going back and forth trying to get in between characters and it’s just frustrating.So, I suppose the point here is that the fine resolution just isn’t good enough for me. Trying to draw numbers in Paint, it was hurky-jurky and made really ugly lines. And then the draw click somehow locked in the software and it wouldn’t stop drawing after I released the left-click. I’m shopping again for a better mouse. Looking to keep this in the drawer for an emergency backup.UPDATE – Mar 28, 2022Okay. I was wrong. It wasn’t the mouse. Rather, there’s an obscure Windows setting that fixed this. (See below paragraph.) I quickly realized this when I purchased a new Logitech 510 mouse (which I love! ($19.95 on Amazon)), but it was suffering from the exact same chunky resolution problem! I knew that wasn’t right. Did some more digging and found out that there’s a setting for that. I’m happily writing this using the Amazon basics mouse that is the object of this review. It’s just fine. But, let me say. . . the five stars I’ve updated this review to from the original 3 stars in no way suggests that this mouse is somehow equal to the Logitech 510 mouse. (Yes, I’m going to go back to the Logitech after this. 🙂 When comparing products using the star ratings, use your brain. A Ford can be worthy of 5 stars. But, a Ford is not a Tesla, which may also be sporting 5 stars. They are NOT equal.Now, if you are having this same problem (Windows 10) that I previously described, do this: Open ‘Settings’. Click on ‘Devices’. Click on ‘Mouse’. Click on hypertext on the right hand side which reads ‘Additional mouse options’. (A ‘Mouse Properties’ window opens.) Click on the ‘Pointer Options’ tab. In the ‘Motion’ box, click on the check box next to ‘Enhance pointer precision’. Click ‘OK’. (It might take a few seconds for it to believe that’s what you want.) All should be good now. (You’re welcome!)

Not so happy customer
This mouse feels and handles very well. The only problem I have is that I have to re-sit the batteries daily, it stops working and you have to open the mouse and play with the positioning of the batteries to get it working again. Other than that, I’m happy with my purchase.

The second one I ordered didn’t work.I contacted Amazon and requested a replacement. They said ok and said I didn’t have to return the second one. I received a replacement and it didn’t work!! so, I decided not to order another replacement. Amazon said to return that one which I did. I’m waiting for a refund on that one. The item works great when you get one that actually works. Out of 3 of the PC mice that I ordered, Only one actually worked!

Really good click and scroll feeling. A bit small.
Overall quite small, but it has a nice weight and solid feel to it, the button clicks are quiet and solid feeling, and the scroll wheel feels great. I hope it holds up better that the Logitech Logi mouse it replaced.

works well for what it is.
This was a replacement for the same item bought several years ago but lost by dropping it out of my laptop bag. The mouse worked well for those several years and I had every expectation it would continue to do so. Can’t speak to its effectiveness for gaming as I never used it that way. Not sure just how well the sleep mode works technically but its battery life was excellent and it never failed to come on immediately when needed.

Simple mouse that works great!
It’s a simple mouse sure, but it definitely does the job. I had to get a new one because the nano receiver broke. It was a different brand last time, but so far i haven’t had any troubles with this one i just bought. It’s click is significantly quieter, which I love because that click sound gets old pretty fast.Overall, its a simple mouse, but it certainly gets the job done and has a nice feel to it 🙂

Great mouse for the price but. . .
I always buy the Amazon Basics mouse if I need one – hard to beat the quality at that price. I dropped an extra $1 this time for the blue mouse rather than the basic black. It’s still a great mouse, but it’s a great purple mouse. There’s no planet on which this color should be considered blue :p
