Mixes well
We are in the process of trying to find my little one a new formula, And have gradually tried two different brands so far this being one. It mixed up well and consistency is similar to a protein powder in my opinion (Not the dry, sandy texture). My little one had no issues drinking it however, I don’t think she like the taste? It took her much longer to finish her bottle than normal.

Baby belly did not agree
Unfortunately, my little one threw this up right away. It must not have agreed with her belly. will use Similac currently but it has been creating some constipation so we were looking at trying some different formulas. This one was easy to mix up and has more of the structured texture that reminds me of a protein powder. Aside from it, not agreeing with her stomach, she drink it fairly quickly, and seemed to enjoy it? I probably should’ve eased her into the new formula (mixing a little at a time until she was used to it?) we’ll try it again in a few days, but mixing a little at a time until her stomach can get used to it and update

High
The price is a little on the high side and the flavor is not good. I gave this to my kid and she spit it out the first time. I tried a few times and she drank maybe 1/3 of her usual and then just walked off.

CMPA friendly
EleCare Hypoallergenic Formula, Complete Nutrition for Severe Food Allergies, Amino Acid Based Infant Formula, White and Green, 14.1 OzPriced at $44.97 this formula is on the high side but I find that most hypoallergenic ones are. It’s easy to mix and make up.It doesn’t smell very nice or taste great in my opinion but my son will drink it mixed with breastmilk. He has a dairy allergy/cmpa and dairy makes him vomit. He won’t drink it on it’s own but he’s used to breast milk and is like that with any formula unless it’s mixed. We only use it when my supply dips at the time of the month. The instructions are easy to follow in regards to making it up.The tin wouldn’t last long if you see just using formula and not mixing it with breast milk so it would be super expensive for us but obviously if that’s what we had do to for our little one then we would.

Baby likes it
My baby really seems to like this baby formula. She has not had any upset stomach or reactions to it. I did check with her pediatrician first before giving this to her. It is very easy to use and the instructions are pretty simple. It dissolves easily in water and seems to have no adverse effects and that was my biggest fear. I definitely would recommend talking to your pediatrician before switching any formulas and making sure it is recommended as well as something that is safe.

Ok
I got this for a coworker who’s child in on Nutramigen but she told me she already tried this one and it makes her little one gassy. So I tried it with my 5 months old who is partially breastfeed and partially feed with Aussie Bubs formula, and my baby tolerated this very well. But I need to mention that my baby have no allergies and has already tried few different formulas with no issues.

Good formula
Good formula though a little pricey but you gotta do what you gotta do when your little one has specific needs. Mixes well but smells funny, though if you’re used to this type of formula, it’s not any worse than others. And I personally think a lot of formula smell funny so there is that. The baby eats it with no issues.

Quality formula, easy on the tummy.
My 9 month old has been on gentle-ease neuro pro since birth. The ingredients are comparable to other brands made here in the states, other popular US brands made his tummy upset and were harder to mix. The texture is more powdery than grainy. If you’ve had luck with enfamil as far as being well tolerated, the elecare should work well too. Good formula!

Great
If you need a formula that is hypoallergenic or to deal with formula allergies, this one works well. While the taste isn’t great, it works for those with severe allergies to lactose or other ingredients normally found in milk or other formulas.

Perfect formula for babies with food allergies/intolerances
My little one has a cow milk/soy intolerance and finding the right hypoallergenic formula is definitely challenging. This has worked well for us with no digestion issues at all. The smell of this is not as off-putting as some other brands (IFYKYK) and those honestly didn’t work great for us. The price seems in line with hypoallergenic formulas though on the higher end this formula is justified based on its composition.

Mixes great, nice flavor, smells like aminoacids, perfect.
I’m a gym guy and I take a lot of aminoacid supplements, this formula smells like aminoacids, that goes great with the description of the product.Besides that, the nutritional profile is very complete and it mixes great. Most important thing to know is I wouldn’t use this as a breast milk replacement, just as a supplement or a patch for a moment breast milk is not available.

Great formula
Really good quality formula for babies that can’t have regular. I do wish it wasn’t so expensive.

Excellent for babies with allergies
I love this formula, it is great for babies with Cmpa or even cow intolerances. My baby takes it without any fuss, he likes the taste, it is easy to blend. I tried all kinds of hypoallergenic fornulas with my baby and he would still develop sympyoms, even if they were extensively hydrolized. I am happy to see that now I can find Elecare on Amazon, and it is reasonably priced, as this type of amino-acid based formulas can range up to $60, which is a burden for families.

Hypoallergenic milk
It is easy to mix with water and not foam up. My infant take this formula with no digestion issue. It doesn’t have a strong smell which make it is easy for a baby to drink it.

Amazing formula for allergies!
My son who is SEVERELY allergic to milk protein, could not tolerate nutramigen, similac, etc. so we gave elecare a try and within 2 weeks we could tell this was the formula right for our sons stomach. I wish it wasn’t as expensive as it was but I would pay $100 a can if I had to for my baby, thank you elecare.

Well formulated, easy to use
It is well formulated with a variety of ingredients to cover a broad spectrum nutrients, which are beneficial for baby’s growth and development. It is easy to use. It is fine powder, dissolving quickly and completely without having any lumps remaining. My baby really enjoys this formula, which provides essential nutritions that my little one needs.

toddler reacted poorly to it
our child reacted poorly it to it, despite it being made for those with food sensitivities. she got extremely bad gas, and it made her feel very uncomfortable. it was not our usual brand that we used, but we were trying something new since she has a issue with consuming certain formula mixes. unfortunately this did not work for her

Not what I expected, and definitely not in a good way
EleCare Hypoallergenic Formula is marketed as a complete nutrition solution for infants with severe food allergies. However, I must say that the taste is absolutely horrendous! Even if it claims to be allergy-friendly, if it tastes so repulsive, babies simply won’t drink it! I have tried numerous brands of formula and even breast milk, but I have never encountered such an unpleasant taste. It’s like diluting dog food, mixing it with water, and adding a dash of soy and fish. I gave it to my 6-month-old daughter, and after two sips, she made a face as if she had just bitten into a bitter pill and refused to drink any more. (In the end, I had to mix it with regular powdered formula at a 1:3 ratio just to make it somewhat tolerable for her.)On the positive side, the powder does dissolve easily, and the recommended ratio of 1 scoop to 2 ounces of water makes it convenient for accurate measurement and preparation. However, the price of this formula is ridiculously high! While I understand that hypoallergenic formulas tend to be more expensive, this one takes it to another level. Did the developers of this formula even bother to taste it? It’s highly likely that infants would refuse to drink it due to its unpalatable flavor. No matter how great a formula is, if it’s not consumed, it serves no purpose. It’s better to consider the possibility of wasting your money before purchasing this product. It’s truly heartbreaking to think of infants who are limited to drinking this awful-tasting formula. I would strongly advise exploring all other available options before resorting to it.In summary, EleCare Hypoallergenic Formula may claim to be an effective solution for severe food allergies, but its taste is so repugnant that infants are likely to reject it. The ease of powder dissolution and convenient measurements are overshadowed by the exorbitant price and the probability of it being wasted. I can only give this product a rating of 1 star.
