4 AA batteries
This is a nice hot wheels RC car that you could use as a toy or as a collectible. If you are using it as a toy then you will need 4 AA batteries. The remote is the perfect size for kids!

Junk
The remote and vehicle do not turn on or run after the batteries are installed. The quality is poor, and they appear to be made of cheap plastic.

Looks more like a dollar store $10 car. The “decals” are cheap thick cardboard junk!
They printed the decals on cardboard or something thick and attached those to the car all over. Since it’s thicker and inflexible- they had to put slices in the graphic so it would “flex” enough to conform to the car. It looks like someone got bored with a box cutter and went after the car- the cuts look terrible! I don’t understand why they couldn’t make a vinyl graphic and stick it on there… This truly looks like a $5 or $10 junky thing from a dollar store.Functionality wise, it works about how you’d expect a race car in this price range to work. Sure it goes fast but it doesn’t go super fast all the same. No traction from the tires. This is a good toy for a small kid that isn’t serious about race cars and wouldn’t know the difference between this and a real rc car.

Not impressed
Usually I’m happy with Hot Wheels products, they are usually good quality and my kids usually love them. So I expected the same from this Hot Wheels Remote Control Car.Unfortunately however it’s just not as good of quality as I’m used to from Hot Wheels. They car itself looks and feels quite cheap, and it also doesn’t drive the best either. There is a delay between when you turn or press a button on the remote as well. I honestly don’t think I would pay more than $10-$15 bucks max if I’m being totally honest.

But it, try it, tons of fun!
I got 3, one each, 7 year old grandson and me, racing (crashing), had the best time ever with him. They are indestructable, we laughed for over an hour crashing into each other over and over, no damage to the cars. Big enough size to run outside on pavement or concrete. 3rd car is my custom build, for that price, I may need a couple more!

My husband loves this
So my husband is like a giant child. His two favorite things are Hot Wheels and RC Cars so when I saw this, this was the best of both worlds. First, this RC car is amazing and looks amazing as well. The RC itself takes AA batteries and quite a few of them so make sure you got plenty on hand and then setting up the controller is relatively easy. The car is actually pretty fast and steers well and what was impressive is that this RC car drives well on carpet. Overall, if you’re looking for a fun gift, this RC car is a great choice for all ages and is husband approved!

Extremely cheap feeling
Clearly licensed by Hot Wheels to someone able to make the cheapest possible remote control car. Doesn’t work that well, feels very light and flimsy, even the antenna isn’t fixed and is just a wire you feed through a straw. I’d spend a few bucks more on something nicer.

Cool remote control car, not the most durable
My son loves playing with remote control cars and he was so excited that this one looked like a giant version of his Hot Wheels cars. It was easy to set up, but it does require six AA batteries so make sure you have those on hand. The remote seems pretty responsive and it goes fast and turns well. The quality is not as good as I had hoped, the plastic feels on the thinner side and the decals are just stickers that probably won’t hold up too long. The remote control has a very long wire, which can be covered with a thin tube that is included, but my son has already broken the wire off, it doesn’t seem to have affected the car being able to drive so far. Despite the quality issues, my son has had a blast playing with this.

Fun to use but decals are of low quality
This remote-controlled car is fun to use. Not only do I like playing with it so do my husband and nieces. It runs smoothly on my laminate floors and in my cement driveway, not sure how well it would run on a carpet but don’t see that being an issue. The remote is easy to use, easy to control. You need a total of 6 AA batteries. The car itself is durable, it has been run into some furniture and cabinets with no damage to the car. The decals are not the greatest though, they look cheap. Overall, this is a decent RC car for beginners.

Requires 6 AA batteries, so get rechargeable ones!
The media could not be loaded.
Runs well on both hard floors as well as carpet. Easy to control in turns, forward, reverse and sudden stops! The plastic body is very thin, yet flexible as it holds up well to hitting hard objects including a steel door. The sticker work is very shotty with creases in some areas others not straight and even areas with bubbles and coming lose. Old school fans enjoy placing the stickers on their cars, kind of wish they still sold them that way. Was always part of the build up to prepping your race car before the big race! Over all a kid will love it!

Hot Wheel Remote Control Car
This car is so fun to play with! I’m really impressed with how well I can control it. It handles extremely well. The controls are easy to use. My almost 2 year old was able to drive it around the living room. It is also accelerates very quickly. So far I’ve driven it on vinyl flooring and carpet. It handled both surfaces perfectly!

Great little toy for my son
My son loved it, works well, and it was fairly fast, batteries last OK as well, but it would be nice if it was rechargeable.

Simple, sharp looking RC Car
This little car is fun with simple controls. My six year old has no issues driving it. It has satisfying speeds and good range. He really enjoys the fact that it’s a “giant” hot wheel. He’s pretty rough on RC cars, but this one has held up well so far. The remote does take batteries (which are not included). Overall, my son has really enjoyed the car, and it has held up well through his playtime.

Not a quality product
So first in the description, I could not find the scale. I purchased thinking that it was 1/64 scale. The car is actually right around the 1/16 scale model. Do NOT get this car wet as the cheap paper stickers will peal leaving a thin coat of paper and adhesive. I’m pretty certain most kids are going to play with this RC car outside so at minimum th stickers should be vinyl. Another issue is that that both front fenders have the Camaro logo right above the middle body line. Well CAMARO is always just below the center body line. The stickers in red do not match the body color, not even close!. The ZL1 Camaro also has the iconic black or carbon fiber ground effects panels that wrap all the way around the body. Well this car has the ground effects however they have not been colored accordingly which does not really look like a ZL1 Camaro. The motor is weak and might allow 3mph. The servo is a cheap magnetic type not digital proportional. There is really nothing good about this RC car but I did only pay $11.05 for it and I really only wanted the body for a 4×4 chassis. I’ll junk the rest of it as there is not a possible way to get replacement parts or update the electronics. Marek should be embarrassed to have released such a low quality product that is not very realistic and durable.

Needs 6 AA Batteries- Not 1 like desc. says
So glad I had this shipped to me instead of my friend’s son. I thought it was odd when the description shows it needs 1 AA battery. It in fact takes 6AA. Other that that, looks like a great toy. Bought as a gift for a 5 yr old.

Cool Camaro, but not the best quality
This Hot Wheels Camaro is awesome. Battery life is great. The car looks great, however it seems to be rather cheaply made which is also reflected in the price. Would recommend for indoor use only. Good product for the price, but would recommend splurging for a better unit that would be more durable.
