Mini ratchet at its best!
The versatility and compact size make this nice to add to your tool kit, daily carry or in a truck accessory kit. Easy directional adjustment and the lever is small/ thin but it’s also pretty tough. With the added socket adapter this tool shines. I would probably recommend staying around or below a 10mm, 3/8 socket. I have used larger sockets with it but that was more of an emergency situation and not a practical everyday use. I do wish they added a way to connect the accessories and wrench together. Would be a simple change and fixes the one issues that tends to happen. You loose the those accessories and the tool becomes useless. My impression is, the wrench itself is almost perfect. I can’t think of anything it needs but I added a small lanyard. The accessory kit is just ok. Nothing special, just basic bits and socket adapter. I would love to see a larger bit/socket kit or several different style kits with the wrench. Regardless, I would recommend the wrench to anyone and building a kit that the wrench is able to fit inside.

Product seems OK once past the LSD INSPIRED PACKAGING!
Review basis: I am a 74 year old guy with debilitating arthritis of the hands. The packaging for this product borders on surreal.1) Shrunk wrapped in heavy duty plastic with massive warning sticker warning to keep away from children. Say what? I have a stubby Phillips screwdriver that poses more of a threat to a child assuming they have the tendency to poke themselves with sharp objects.2) Once I cut the child warning shrink wrap off I find that this tool is screwed together around the heavy duty cardboard with a Phillips screw! I had to find my stubby screwdriver to remove the screw which has zero further purpose but to be discarded. Then I had to use a pair of pliers to pull the plastic into which the screw was screwed. Only then could I remove the tool from the cardboard without fear of damaging something. At this point inspection revealed that it was then ready to be used as one might expect the tool to be used based on the description and videos on Amazon.Bottom line is this tool seems to work OK for what it is but the packaging people these days seem to have gone off the rails. To witness such wasted effort and materials was depressing on many levels as well as painful to my old man hands.

Buy this!
This has saved my bacon more than once. And its so small its easy to store. And the large ring lets me get some torque on it with gloves on (HVAC can get crazy cold!). Klein really went above and beyond with the build of this little guy. Buy it. When you need it, its so worth it.

Palm sized ratchet feels like an extension of the hand
The media could not be loaded.
This mini ratchet has worked really well so far. The “pinky hole” as I’ll call it adds a great layer of grip while working in tight spaces. It comes with a basic set of screwdriver bits, which are held Very tight in their storage block. I’ve found it best to push them all out just a slight amount to make it easier to remove them for use.The drive gear has an insane lock up once a screwdriver bit is fully inserted, making them slightly hard to remove, but I’d say this is still a plus since it’s almost impossible to lose one while in a hard to reach area. The only complaint I have is the packaging. The ratchet is secured to the package with a screw. I found it mildly frustrating that the tool I needed to open the package was the one locked inside it.

Great Quality and Performance
Do i have slimmer right angle ratchets? Yes. But none of them work as well as this Klein. This one has a finger turner, extra short bits, and a fine tooth ratchet that just works better in tight spaces. I have a cheaper set which is “thinner” but it’s a huge pain in the butt to use without a fine tooth ratchet or finger turner. If you want a good easy to use tool that’s well built, this is the one to get. Just be aware that the idea is a bit wider the some other tools decided to access hard to reach areas. The only other con is there is no case and just a rubber bit holder, hope I don’t lose them.

Nifty little gadget
Comes in handy around the house. I’ve used it to assemble toys and furniture. Not likely to last long if pressed into hard use.

Meh
It works if you don’t need to fit into tight spaces. Tool is fine but thick enough to not be helpful like similar tools. Loop on the end is fun to swing around like Doc Holiday. 1 of the stars in this review came from this comical loop.

I’ve used it twice while working on furnaces and if dig it out of the tool bag it’s because a driver won’t fit. Saves time and frustration.

Exactly what I wanted
I have had similar tools over the years that failed miserably. This is a quality tool, and the loop is very useful. I liked it so much that I bought 4 more as gifts for associates last Christmas.

Smooth ratchet action
I like the finger hole, as this is small and designed for use in cramped spaces. It has come in handy many times for appliance repair. I would recommend this tiny ratchet to anyone who needs such a thing.

Works well
Overall the construction of the tool is good. I have not yet thoroughly used it, however what use it has seen has been interesting. If the screw, bolt, nut, or whatever your messing with is really tightened down I hope you have some decent hand strength. I will update this if anything important happens.

Unique design
This is not the smallest screwdriver of its type. It’s a small tool that have a big tool feel. Great balance and ergonomics. Sounds strange? Tell me you don’t have a favorite cordless drill, hammer or pliers. I recommend adding this to your collection.

Love this thing!
I’m an installation tech and put this under heavy use every day. It makes hard to reach screws simple to tighten. The head is a little wider than other mini ratchets I’ve had in the past but has outlasted them by months!

Perfect for those hard to reach places.
I love everything about this little wrench.Small enough to add to any tool kit, sturdy enough to get the job done when you need it.Klein tools have always performed above and beyond my expectations. This wrench is no exception.Easy to use, all metal construction, very fine teeth (roughly 5°) for those tight spaces where you may not have room for a regular ratchet.Definitely going to grab a couple more in the future for my other tool kits.

Great Little Tool
Love having this on hand to use in tight spaces. The ratchet has a fine resolution and moves smoothly. Comes with bits which are held securely and magnetically. Very easy to store anywhere or carry because it is so small and light (but not in a bad, cheap way).

Not bad for the price
Good little bit driver, my only complaint is the chrome doesn’t hold up very well in a heavy maintenance environment. I used it for two days and it peeled rite off. Also I found in very tight spots the selector switch would flip pretty easily if your not careful.

Typical Klein quality tool (the best)
My son does HVACR and pro kitchen equipment repair for a living and he’s a Klein devotee. I knew this would be a great gift. He confirms; said he’d seen this set before but hadn’t pulled the trigger. The handle is great, it has a smooth ratchet action and the hole makes it so easy to swivel with just one finger. The bits are shorter than most to provide maximum clearance in tight quarters. Just your typical well engineered, well built, innovative Klein tool. At only $15 it’s a no-brainer. You can take your chances with something cheaper or more features but this is a tool by people who KNOW tools and make them for people who USE tools.

Klein makes good tools…
Klein makes good tools and my ratings are based on that as I just got this Mini Ratchet Set. I like the finger loop in the handle as it affords fast ratcheting without banging you knuckles or losing your grip when things are slick or greasy.I also like the bits that came with it because they’re what I call micro bits which are short enough to give good clearance in tight places. Only the head protrudes out of the ratchet, so you only have the head and the thickness of the ratchet to contend with getting in and out of tight spots. This ratchet also features a spinner attached to the ratchet itself allowing you to turn whatever’s in it either way with your fingers. A nut or screw that’s loose enough to go one way or the other, yet you can’t get to it easily for whatever reason is no problem with this.Another handy tool to have in the box for when you need it!

Nothing better at this price!
I have used this tool as needed on and off the past two years. Don’t get me wrong, this will not be extremely beneficial when dealing with very tight spaces.. Regardless, this tool has bailed me out more times than I can count. Plus, the reversible feature is amazing!

Used in tight spaces
I used this while installing racing seats in my car. The sides become very tight and space is very limited. This held onto the bit just fine and worked well. The circle allows for grip and turning. Good tool.

Broke after a couple months
It’s spectacular for undoing screws in car wheel wells for the fender liner with a wheel in the way, I simply dropped mine and the black plastic piece on top that allows finger turning busted off when the bit poked through the other side the way it landed. Still works I think it’s great

Will work with Wiha double-ended bits if you remove magnet
Comes with 4 bits + 1/4 drive adapter. For more bits, I bought the Wiha 77780 bit pack, which are double ended. You can push out the magnet and there is room for the bits (except the #3 phillips) to fit into the wrench up to the point where the spring engages with the notch in the bit. The Wiha #1 Phillips is about .18 inch more stick-out than the supplied bits.My goal was a mini tool kit, combined with a somewhat disappointing Flissa multi tool. Wiha bits will also fit in the Flissa, add a 6 x 2mm round magnet to it to retain them in it.Note that this is a comfortable tool to use, but the round ring is about 1.18″, not the absolute smallest – right size for normal use, put ring on pinky and thumb and forefinger are in the right place to turn wheel. If you need the smallest possible offset screwdriver, consider a Chapman-like set.

I hope never to work without it.
I am a service tech that fixes kitchen equipment and this ratchet really comes in handy when I have to get small screws and bolts. the 1/4 inch and 5/16 sides are invaluable. Could be a little bit more durable but I will never work without it. I have bought 4 of these not because the the durability but because I loose them.

Not bad for the price
This thing seems about right for a $15 price tag. Either the chrome plating is trying to flake off or it got etched by some chemical but in the spot it happened it won’t bother me much. Klein used to be top notch tools but they seem to be selling trinkets like this that should be made by some store brand. It’s about right though considering if you go to your local burger place and get a greasy mess with large fries and a milkshake it will cost more than this tool. Seems right.

Well worth the money
this tool has paid for itself over and over again. the finger loop is great both for speed and security–i regularly work at heights exceeding 50′ and not fumbling and dropping your tools is of great importance.the low profile bits are nice, but i would like a bigger selection of them, even if it’s at an additional cost as an add-on set.

Great Tool!
I was unsure of the quality of this tool. The wrench is outstanding! The head is steal/metal. You can’t tell from the picture and looks a little plasticy. It’s actually heavy duty for it’s size which is small. Great wrench! Perfect for a motorcycle tool pouch.

This worked out great. It’s well made, and works very nicely. The finger-ring design is super handy. The direction switch is pretty good… only bumped it accidentally once so far. My only wish is that the bit holder somehow could attach to the tool, like with a clip or a magnet, so that they would stay together in my tool box.
